When she was young, Serena Lewis was uprooted from the life she knew. Her parents took her from everything and everyone she loved, including her best friends… her cousins. Rebelling against the change, Serena became a young woman she knew her family wouldn’t like. Now that she’s moving back home, she hopes to keep that part of herself in the past and become the woman she’s meant to be.Jed Monroe … be.
Jed Monroe is a self-made man. Forced to grow up at a young age, he’s always taken care of himself and worked to get what he needed. Working construction has given him stability, but working with wood is where his passion truly lies.
On the outside, petite and perfect Serena and rough and hardworking Jed have nothing in common. When Serena moves into the house next door, Jed is determined to ignore the sexy art gallery manager, who he just knows will be a pain in his ass.
But their shared loved of creating beauty from pain, along with the intangible chemistry that fires whenever they’re in the same space, forces them to dig beneath the surface to find their vulnerability. Jed will soon see that whether he likes Serena or not, she’s Too Enchanting to ignore.
Too Enchanting is the fourth in an all-new small town romance series by Bethany Lopez. Follow the Lewis cousins of Cherry Springs, the kind of place where there are festivals for every occasion and everyone knows your business, as they learn about love and loss.

I listened to the audio version of this book. The narration wss my only issue with it. The narrator, Holly Holt did change her voice slightly when the male character was in actual conversation, but failed to do so on the chapters from his point of view that were told in the first person. I found that very confusing.
I did really enjoy the actual story and coming together of Serena and Jed. Them overcoming their initial irritation of each other was well paced and Jed’s gradual wooing of her was adorable. The heat between them was well handled and added to their relationship.
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio book. All thoughts are my own.
The description of and dialog from Jed is the perfect book boyfriend so we read on in hope’s that Serena doesn’t mess this up. Both characters are well developed and we see growth in them once they learn to communicate. A sizzling hot read…
Serena & Jed make an excellent couple. Both artists of a sort. They have strong ideas about what makes a good person which causes them some problems.
This is the first story of the ‘Lewis Cousins’. Although this is a standalone story, I can tell there are some previous great stories. I need to go back and start at the beginning again.
Holly Holt did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. She is clear spoken with appropriate tone and pacing.
I recieved a free Audible copy of this story in exchange for a honest review.
Too Enchanting is the fourth standalone in the Lewis Cousins series from Bethany Lopez. It’s the second book I’ve listened to, since I seem to be skipping around this series. Even though I’m not listening/reading the books in order, I have no issues following around and enjoying the stories.
Jed and Serena’s story was perfect for a short, light-hearted read. I really enjoyed following along with their romance and watching Jed push past Serena’s walls. The Lewis cousins are such a fun family to read about. They’re joking around and love for each other always makes for a great time. Too Enchanting is a sweet, steamy read with relatable characters and enjoyable banter.
Serena gets her story in the 4th book of the Lewis Cousins series. We’ve seen a few glimpses of her in the others, but get to know her when she moves back to town. Her first meeting with her new neighbor Jed doesn’t go well, to say the least. When they’re both picked to be on a home makeover reality show they have to learn to get along and sparks start to fly. A ghost from Serena’s past threatens to undo all the progress she and Jed have made. I enjoyed this book over all, a bit of enemies to lovers, maybe a little tiny bit of a slow burn. Initially I didn’t really care for Serena and her treatment of others. As the book progressed and her attitude towards others shifted she became much more likeable. Jed was so likeable from the beginning, standing up for and defending others to a complete stranger. I loved the push and pull from these two, watching the relationship evolve from enemies to lovers. I listened to the audio version, the narrator did a pretty good job, my only complaint about it was the her “male” voice wasn’t all that different from her “female” voice so if I wasn’t paying close enough attention at the beginning of the chapter I would get a little lost in who’s POV it was. Overall, it’s a sweet addition to the Lewis Cousins series. Now to find out if Jasmine and Shane ever get together.
This book was great! I loved this whole series so far and can only hope there will be more in the future. Such a close knit family that is there for you no matter what the circumstances.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my honest review.
I always enjoy revisiting the Lewis cousins. Ms. Lopez has created a family that loves each other, protective of each other, likes to have fun, and is close. Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I am glad I have read them in order simply because each book includes cousins from the previous books.
Serena is the “long-lost” cousin who is finally moving back to Cherry Springs to find who she is meant to be. Jed is an honorary Lewis cousin who Serena butts heads with upon moving back. These two get off on the wrong foot but come to realize that first impressions aren’t always accurate.
Ms. Lopez is one of my go-to authors when I am looking for romance, humor, and a little sass thrown in. I love that I am able to connect with the characters and her storylines. The way she writes makes me wish I could be friends with the Lewis family!
I am completed enchanted with the Lewis Cousins Series!! Each of these books could definitely be read as a standalone but there are all so amazing, I can’t imagine skipping a single one.
Serena’s parents had moved her away from the rest of her family at a young age and where she ended up was nowhere like the welcoming environment of her cousins and the town of Cherry Springs. Now that’s she moved back home, she needs to go back to the Serena that her family knows and loves. Jed has become a member of the Lewis clan and when he sees the Serena that has moved in next door, he’s less than impressed. These two should have nothing in common but the more they get to know each other, the more they realize they are more alike than they ever would have imagined.
Every single one of these books is better than the last!! I feel like every visit to Cherry Springs makes me more a member of the Lewis family and I can’t wait to see what comes next!!
I seriously cannot get enough of this family. They are your Happy Ever After Always kind of family. This is book 4 in the Lewis Cousin’s series, and is best read in order. I love catching up on characters from previous books, and waiting with anticipation for book 5. This is Serena and Jed’s story and it was a wonderful frenemies to lovers story. Mr. Handyman meets Ms. Artistic. I am so swooning over Jed, and can’t wait to possibly read their forever after as supporting characters in book 5.
I have to say first off I love this family. They are everything we want in a family, loving, supportive, crazy, possessive, protective, stubborn, nosey, did I say a pain in the cheeks. Yes reading this book about the Hothead and the Ice Queen you will laugh, frown, have your deep sigh moments, and no she didn’t episodes. Mostly you will enjoy this enchanting read about the carpenter and the artist. They are both emotional and yes it is kind of an insta love kinda thing but it is fun and worth it. I love this authors style and her characters. This clan will easily move into you heart and stay there. In that way they feel comfortable and a little like home. They play hard and love harder. These are individual standalone reads but why would you when each book is a fun and entertaining read.
Bethany Lopez continues to enchant. The Lewis family is compelling entertainment. Just when you have them figured out, they throw curveballs to prove we never had a clue. Too Enchanting is cousin Serena’s coming out party. Rena is a constantly changing mass of contradictions. She’s a mercurial, frustrating, misunderstood lost soul. She has a heart full of love to give, but the risk is too much for her to handle. She knows how to make a bad impression, yet there’s more to her than meets the eye. Jed sees her at her worst, but can also bring out her best. Once you give a Lewis your heart, there is no turning back.
