CHASEThe first time I saw Aimee Gilpin walk into a bar, it was love at first sight. She looks nothing like the women I usually go for, and everything like the woman I’d want to come home to every night. Then my best friend showed up and I had to let him pursue her. It was the right thing to do as a friend and business partner, but the wrong thing to do for my heart. The second time I see Aimee … second time I see Aimee walk into a bar, she has finally convinced my friend that she isn’t interested, and I was planning on drinking myself into oblivion to avoid calling her. She probably thinks I hate her. I tried to.
Tomorrow I’ll deal with my best friend and the company we built with his money and my brains.
Tonight, she’s mine.
AIMEE
The first time I saw Chase McKay at a bar, I thought I’d met the man of my dreams—I just didn’t recall the man of my dreams looking like the lead singer of a grunge band. Then as soon his friend showed up, Chase bolted like I was his worst nightmare.
The second time I see him in a bar, I can tell by the look in his eyes that we both regret his choice that first night. He has no idea that I just started working for the company that their company is about to start working with.
I don’t want to make things any more complicated than they already are, but I do want him like nobody’s business.
Tomorrow we’ll deal with the fact that Chase, his best friend and I will be working together.
Tonight, he’s mine.

Tonight You’re Mine
By: Kayley Loring
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Mackenzie Cartwright
Kayley Loring delivers another enjoyable and entertaining novel. She creates the most interesting storylines, they are original, realistic and captivating from start to end. Her characters are complex and well developed. I adored Aimee Gilpin, she is smart and sweet with a great personality. I think I liked Chase McKay even more, how he wanted to do the right thing despited his feelings and step back because of his friend Keaton. Keaton was not my favorite person, he needed to man up and grow up. Aimee’s friend Roxy was a hoot, loved how she got Aimee out of her comfort zone, trying different things, including giving her number out to some she just meets. This is a great love at fist sight romance and I loved how it all played out. From when they first met to the office, to Coney Island and then the great ending. There is never a dull moment, there is plenty of drama, some great humor, a bit of angst and some great romance. Kayley Loring thank you for another great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Mackenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton. They are entertaining storytellers and awesome voice performers. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. I love how much heart they put into their work, it can be heard in their great performances. Thank you for another great listen

5 Star review of Tonight You’re Mine by Kayley Loring
Kayley Loring is a new author to me and I have absolutely no idea why that is. From the first page until the last she reeled me in hook, line and sinker; I loved this story.
Chase McKay is too swoon worthy for words, I fell for him from the start and he only got better as the story progresses. From the moment his eyes meet Aimee Gilpin in his regular bar, he knows that she is something truly special. Their connection is instantaneous and the chemistry between them intense.
However, when his best friend joins him, Chase immediately recognizes that Keation is also interested in Aimee and being the man that he is , he bows out.
There were times throughout this book that I really wanted to shake sense into Keaton, it took till almost the end of the book for me to finally start liking him, he was a jerk for most of the story, pure and simple.
Luckily fate works in mysterious ways and trying to drown his sorrows, Chase returns to the bar where he first met Aimee. When she too turns up hoping to find him, they both know that it is meant to be despite Chase’s misgivings about Keaton.
There were times I laughed, and almost screamed with frustration but throughout this book I fell more and more for Chase and Aimee.
This is a feel good book that I could have continued reading and I would love to see another story about this couple a few years down the track, here’s hoping.
One night
Chase McKay is pretty optimistic and it’s on a trip to his local bar, he meets Aimee Gilpin.
They have instant chemistry but Chase’s business partner swoops in and Chase steps back purposefully choosing his business over pursuing Aimee.
One month later, he’s back in the bar to get tanked and to go home with another woman.
Aimee has finally shaken Keaton and interrupts Chase sealing the deal with his hook up.
They hook up for one night. That’s the deal.
But Aimee has just accepted a job at Chase and Keaton’s company.
Drama with Keaton, of course.
Good attention to emotional development in Chase.

*Read as part of The Brooklyn Boyfriends collection*
“We are twenty-seven and reckless and in love and reunited by the Wonder Wheel, and the only thing stopping me from dry humping Chase McKay in the middle of Luna Park is knowing that I’ll be able to come home to him every day and every night for the rest of my life.”
Seriously, I don’t know what to do with myself and these books. There’s not one of them I don’t think is perfect, there’s not one main character I don’t like, there’s not one chapter I’m not either going awww or laughing my head off. Or trying to stop my Kindle from melting from sheer hotness.
Yep. I’m sure that’s a thing.
“Chase reads me the way you read a book that you can’t put down, and I feel myself becoming a more interesting book because of it.”
Damn you, Chase McKay, why are you so perfect? Why do you have to be hot, tattooed, looking like a freaking rock star, and even love Chris Cornell? Why do you have to be loyal, protective, and such a darling at the same time? I wish I could hate you, but all I want to do is find me someone just like you.
“And when you walked right up to me it felt like everyone and everything around us was dimming and fading out.”
I spent much of this book wishing I were Aimee. Not only is she a great person, she has a wonderful best friend, a heart of gold, and the best family, but she is also driven, professional, good at her job. I absolutely loved her. She takes nothing for granted, she embraces the world. I kind of love her too.
““You want to know what I thought when I first saw you?”
“Oh God, I don’t know. Do I? What?”
“I thought you were the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen, and I thought to myself: ‘Wow. So this is what love at first sight feels like.’””
Chase and Aimee meet at a bar. A chance meeting between two people, but there’s this instant thing. For her, it’s first off because he’s hot, but for him it’s more than that, then and there. And when it seems like these two have hit it off and something’s about to happen, in comes Chase’s best friend and business partner Keaton trying to wow our Aimee here.
Long story short – he doesn’t. And he’s a real asshole. Not even the ending redeems him for me. Maybe his book does, I hope. For his sake. Because I would kick him in the nuts after this one.
“I convinced myself that you were all wrong for me, and maybe you are. I convinced myself that I’d meet someone I like more than you, and maybe I still will. But I can’t seem to fall out of love with what could have been.”
OK, so yes, it may be a bit insta-love thing, but there’s nothing instant about them being together. You see, when Keaton, the rich guy who’s used to getting all the ladies, gets between them, Chase backs down, because Chase doesn’t think Aimee would ever choose him over Keaton. Chase is middle class, his parents own a restaurant and he’s struggled to pay for everything in his life, including law school. Why would she ever pick him?
Because he’s awesome, that’s why.
“I know what I’d risk losing just to keep her, and it doesn’t even scare me. Because I know what I’m capable of building and rebuilding as long as I’m doing it for her. ”
Once they realize what they feel about each other, and that it’s not going anywhere, they have one night together, but that would never be enough. And then Aimee starts working at Chase and Keaton’s office, and things get complicated. Even though the steamy office moments were definitely interesting.
Chase’s dedication to his best friend, while he doesn’t deserve it in my opinion, is admirable. But sometimes I just wanted to push him and tell him – you deserve her, go get her, who cares about the rest of the world.
“Every day. Every night. He’s mine.”
The ending was just what they needed. And it was definitely what I wanted. What I needed.
Just like with good whisky, their love was all about taking a sip and closing your eyes, savoring it. And trusting sometimes the universe does throw good stuff your way.

Love, love, love everything Kayley Loring, her books are always such fun reads. This one was no different, it gives me all the feels. A good balance of hilarity, sweet, great chemistry and witty banter. Granted, sometimes I felt like screaming, but even those moments I enjoyed because it felt so real. Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright is amazing when bringing a Kayley Loring book to life. Their performance has heart and will draw you even more into the story. Highly recommend this listen and look forward to the next Kayley Loring listen.
Chase stepped aside while best friend and business partner became interested in Aimee. Keaton wasn’t one for relationships. Chase knew how this would end, but Aimee is different. To complicate matters more, she started working for them as a consultant. Chase and Aimee’s attraction to each other was magnetic. They decided for just one night they would be together. But is it enough? I love a good romance story with conflict and this story didn’t disappoint.
Teddy Hamilton and MacKenzie Cartwright are phenomenal narrators. I thoroughly enjoyed listening.

Kayley Loring’s really funny, but more than that, she paints pictures that make simple little love stories come to life. Her descriptions make you experience, not just read about what is happening, her characters are well understood, the chemistry is undeniable, and any conflict is short lived so that you don’t feel tortured. Ms. Loring’s subtle skill is so effective that it’s not what you notice, you just embrace the story.
If you need a nice light little read, this is the one for you. It’s the sweet love story of a nice, smart, professional couple who find instalove and just want to be together, and barring a few minor obstacles they do get together. There’s very little angst, no love/hate, no push/pull or sardonic banter, they have no baggage and their careers are on track. Wow, that’s a rarity in romance novels, isn’t it? But don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s boring
What I really can’t say enough about is the first 40% of the book. OMG, it’s everything that we read romance stories for. I don’t want to spoil even a speck of it for you, you just have to experience it for yourself. So well written and wonderful that you feel every bit of it in your heart and soul.
No spoilers here, but there’s an alluring little scene that I just have to tell you about—Chase’s advice to Aimee about savoring the flavor of Irish whiskey. Ms. Loring describes it in such a visceral way: “I watch her respond to every smooth and warm, surprising flavor as it caresses her tongue—the fruity honeyed sweetness, the sherry and licorice and ginger, the peppery spice that erupts in her throat as she swallows, the hint of toffee that lingers… The union and explosion of unexpected soulmate flavors that can change the way you experience the world. It’s like drinking music”.
Who knew there was so much in Irish whiskey? And it makes me want to taste good Redbreast Irish whiskey too. If I ever do that I will think of this scene for sure.
One of the best secondary characters in this story is Elaine Hoffman, Aimee’s boss. She comes out with the funniest stuff that starts off as what you think will be sage insight from a middle aged woman who has lived a lot. But it always takes a surprising twist at the end that makes you do a double take and laugh. She’s priceless and a brilliant creation for the story.
So for sure give this book a try. IMO it’s one of Ms. Loring’s best.
**4.5 Stars**
I am quickly becoming a huge fan of Kayley Loring. I love her writing style and the characters she creates and the stories she writes. Tonight You’re Mine was equally as awesome as the other couple of books I have read by her.
This book focuses on Chase and Aimee who meet one night in a bar and have a great connection, but it veers off course when Chase’s best friend and business partner Keaton shows up and also is interested in Aimee so Chase backs off. Aimee and Chase can’t seem to forget each other and Aimee has no interest in Keaton, but it certainly makes things awkward moving forward, especially when Aimee ends up working briefly for Chase and Keaton’s company.
Chase and Aimee had great chemistry and I absolutely loved them together. I loved that Chase was willing to do anything to help Aimee and her family and that he had no problem expressing his feelings. His relationship with Keaton was certainly complex and although Keaton certainly needed a reality check a lot sooner, I am glad he and Chase were able to also work things out and have a stronger friendship. I would definitely highly recommend this book!
This Romcom was so much fun. There is occasional angst, but it only adds to the intrigue you feel in the insta love connection between Aimee & Chase from the moment they meet.
Teddy & Mackenzie where naturals in this sexy, stand-alone romance.

This is my second book by Kayley Loring. The first was Come Back to Bed, and I loved it. I went into Tonight You’re Mine with high expectations, and I’m happy to report that I wasn’t disappointed.
Plot overview: Chase and Aimee meet in a bar and sparks fly immediately. Lots of sexy instalust ensues. Matters get complicated, however, when Chase’s friend and business partner also takes a liking to Aimee, and Aimee later takes a job working for Chase’s company (unbeknownst to him).
First of all, off topic, I just need to say that I have naturally curly hair and no matter how hard I work on it, it NEVER looks as good as this cover model’s hair. Men shouldn’t be allowed to have hair that pretty! It’s not fair! Men already have a superior ability to open pickle jars, not to mention the whole peeing standing up thing. So I think men should leave beautiful, flowing curly hair to women. It seems only fair, you know? But I digress…
Now, I’ll be right up front about this next thing: This book includes what some of you might call instalove. Personally, I think it’s more of an instalust situation, which I don’t have a problem with. But Chase does have some “love at first sight” thoughts when he’s first talking to Aimee. It didn’t bother me, because they didn’t immediately jump from “hi, nice to meet you” to “let’s settle down and have babies together.” They did actually spend some time getting to know each other before things got super serious. But if you’re a hater of anything remotely instalove-y, well, this one might not be your cuppa.
As was the case with Come Back to Bed, Tonight You’re Mine is full of fun, witty banter. And y’all know how much I adore fun, witty banter. And Chase and Aimee are great leading characters. They’re smart, good at their jobs (yay, competence porn!) and are never TSTL jerks at any point.
My only complaint (and it’s a minor one) is that I wanted Chase and Aimee to be straight with Chase’s business partner from the start. It irked me a smidge that Chase seemed to coddle his buddy, and honestly, it was unnecessary. But while something like that might’ve really chapped my ass in another book with another author, it didn’t keep me from enjoying the story. I credit Kayley Loring’s fun writing style for that. A talented author can make just about anything work, I’ve found.
So, long-story-short, this was a fun rom com/ contemporary romance that had a great balance of hilarity and angsty, push-and-pull between the main characters. It’s definitely worth a read.

Tonight You’re Mine is my second Kayley Loring novel and again I was not disappointed. This story was sweet and steamy with lovable characters you will be rooting for throughout the novel. It’s a story about friendship, sacrifice and love at first sight. Chase and Aimee were perfect for each other. The chemistry between them could be felt from the first moment they met and throughout the pages of the story.
I listened to the audible version of this story which was narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Mackenzie Cartwright. These two were amazing together and did a fabulous job bring the story to life. Their timing and delivery was on point and I enjoyed listening to them.
This was a light, fun read with little angst that will hold your attention until the end. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.

Tonight You’re Mine
By: Kayley Loring
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Mackenzie Cartwright
I love a feel good romance, and Kayley Loring is the master! Tonight You’re Mine has all the feels, a second chance at love and a vibe that just makes your heart sing! Aimee meets Chase at a bar and there is instant chemistry. When Chase’s best friend and business partner, Keaton shows up and makes a move, Chase does the gentlemanly thing and steps aside. Out of honor, when it’s obvious nothing will come of Keaton and Aimee, Chase does not make a move. But the attraction is too strong, so when opportunity knocks, they decide to give it just one night! And oh, what a night! This story has every feel. There is attraction and jealousy, honor and chemistry, frustration, longing and hate but it all boils down to love. Loring’s writing style is so easy to listen to. Her characters feel real, like they are our best friends, and their problems become our own. She adds humor with Roxy, Aimee’s best friend and we just get to enjoy their wild ride.
You couldn’t have a better team for this book than Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright. These two compliment each other in the best way. Each has a conversational style of narration which I love, giving the story a comforting feel as you listen. Their voices are spot on for the personality of the characters and the provide hours of total entertainment!

Chase and Aimee meet at a bar but they are with their best friends. They like each other but Chase’s best friend and business partner is interested so he backs off. Aimee isn’t interested in Chase’s friend and the two end up meeting at the bar again. Only thing is the three of them will be working together at their business. A funny, sweet story that I enjoyed and recommend.
This is a story of love at first sight, friendship and sacrifice. The first time Chase McKay sees the woman with the beautiful blue eyes in the bar he knows she is his. When Aimee sees the long haired ,tattooed Chase, it’s like a magnetic pull and she finds herself crossing over to meet him. Everything is great until his best friend, Keaton shows up and takes over. Chase back away and they don’t connect again for an entire month. What follows is secrets, hidden feelings, and more sacrifice. It was a little frustrating how Chase handled Keaton with kid gloves. However, it worked in his favor. I wanted him to man up and be upfront about Aimee in the beginning but that would make it a different story. I liked this story so, props to the author. There were some ho scenes between Chase and Aimee. Also meeting both sets of parents was fun and will make you laugh. I loved the little epilogue.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So sweet! I love how Chase and Aimee both had that love at first sight moment when she walked into Bitters! Their banter and chemistry helped keep the pages turning and I didn’t want to put it down!!
Keaton made me nuts for most of the book, but I’m glad that by the end he was a more likable character!
