Falling in love just got complicated.“This deeply perceptual tale touches the heart…” -InD’Tale MagazineWhen Sienna McBride placed her baby for adoption at eighteen, she never dreamed that two years later she’d find herself falling for someone who resents his birth mother for not keeping him. A relationship that screams “baggage” is the last thing she has time for, especially with her … last thing she has time for, especially with her last-chance Juilliard audition approaching. She can’t afford any distractions if she’s going to get back into the school she turned down because of her pregnancy. But that’s exactly what Aaron is turning out to be—a devastatingly handsome, butterfly-inducing distraction. One that’s making her reconsider the importance of attending Juilliard.
The future of their relationship rests on whether Sienna can live a lie or trust Aaron with the truth. If only she felt confident in either decision.

Shows the power of trusting God! Also shows how great it is to have Christian friends to confide in and as support when going through infertility issues or other issues that building each other up in the Lord is really important!!! Three separate women that each chapter heading has one women’s name so they do flip around in kind of a different flow but in a good way!
Sienna has made one of the hardest decisions of her life. She gave her son up for adoption after getting pregnant in high school. In order to have support through the pregnancy and delivery, she gave up her spot to Julliard. In the aftermath of the consequences of her choices and being rejected by the baby’s father, can Sienna learn to trust again? Can she trust a man whose appearance screams bad boy, who seems to have a chip on his shoulder against the idea of adoption; does she want to?
An, entertaining and timely romance that has a lovely approach to adoption and finding the strength to forgive, a story needed by the world. I received an advanced copy of this book in, and I am leaving a voluntary review.
TOMORROW’S LULLABY by Lindzee Armstrong
This is book two in the Chasing Tomorrow series. The book deals with a birth-mother and her life after the adoption of her son.
There was a lot of angst over when to tell the guy she is dating about her son. She knows the the issue may drive them apart. He is adopted and has always felt left out and treated differently by his family. I felt like his adoption and treatment was a bit “overdone”.
All-in-all I loved the book. It was a light and easy read and totally clean. The lives of the characters were portrayed well and I appreciated the Christian ethics shown.
This review is for the audible copy of the book which I received free from the author. I was very glad to learn the conclusion to the first book Chasing Someday. Interesting how 2 people have such opposing views about giving up a child after an unplanned pregnancy. It is very thought-provoking for all to ponder. Very well written. I’m glad it has an HEA. This is my voluntary opinion.ee from the author.
Sienna was the piano prodigy teenager in the last book, who decided to have her baby and give him up for adoption so they could both have better lives. In agreeing to give birth to him, she gave up her spot at Julliard. She aches for her son who knows her as Auntie Sienna and clings to his adoptive mother Kyra, but his family is happy to have her involved in his life. In this book, she meets and falls for Aaron at the Academy of Arts and he is bitter because his mother gave him up for adoption even though he’s with a loving family. She is also given another shot at auditioning for Julliard. She’s afraid to tell Aaron the truth, but if she ends up going to Julliard their relationship may be over anyway. This was a clean romance about second chances dealing with adoption and how it affects those involved.
I read the book and listened to it. The narrator has a nice even tone with inflections in all the right places.
Good story. Entertaining without bad language.
Veey good read!
Lindzee Armstrong writes the best stories. She has another hit with Tomorrow’s Lullaby- a wonderful, emotional, romance dealing with the hard subject of unwed mothers and adoption. This is beautifully written. The characters are exceptionally well drawn. I could not put it down. You might need a box of tissues.
This is a beautifully written book. It’s a stand-alone novel, but follows the storyline of a character introduced in Chasing Someday. It is a hopeful and poignant exploration of adoption in its many variations. Lindzee Armstrong’s writing style is easy to read, but her mature and sensitive treatment of the subject matter elevates this novel above the standard easy-reading contemporary romance. A lovely story that is well worth reading.
Loved this book and the story! Very heartwarming and a feel good read.
GoodChristian book.
Touched my heart!
This is a stand alone read. The characters are college age with all their angst and problems. It is a Christian read. The heroine got pregnant on her first experience with sex so she has decided that will never happen again. She gave her son up for adoption and retained the ability to share his life. She is wildly attracted to a classmate with tattoos and dreadlocks. If you like the college life stories and Christian romance then you will enjoy this book.
This is a very enjoyable book that highlights adoption to anyone in an unwanted pregnancy. The characters are engaging and the issues compelling. The drama seems real as every day people must choose to move past their baggage to find love.
Drawn into a world where music is paramount, what a blessing! Great characters. Christian emphasis is comforting in our world and needs to be shared. Thank you.
Great view of both sides of adoption.
The author was very clever in keeping you wondering which man the heroine would choose. I found myself looking at the cover several times to try to guess which guy was there. Some of the situations were a bit unrealistic but all in all it was a fun read.
I didn’t care for this book. The main character was weak and I got tired of the going back and forth regarding the 2 men in her life. I didn’t finish the book and I got rid of all the books I had from this author.
I don’t know why I couldn’t get into this book.
Loved that even though there was an on-going heartache that occasionally came to the surface, it showed how she was able to move on with life & romance.
