I really enjoyed this short read like so much; this novella series is really starting to become my all-time guilty pleasure and though these books are extremely short in length they still manage to pack quite the punch.
Surprisingly conveying so much emotion and love while still being hot as hell; quite a feat, in my opinion, considering they are actually novellas and not full-size offerings.
Here we are back with Cam and Gabe, one year into there relationship and the boys are now sharing an actual postcode as they have moved in together.
After treating his lover to a romantic and raunchy weekend away at an exclusive hotel Gabe lets slip those all-important goals changing words “I LOVE YOU”; sending Cam into the mother of all tailspins as he attempts to process his feelings of panic and shock.
Poor Gabe is left cooling his heels as his lover withdraws in classic Cam style; leaving poor Gabe floundering around in the dark.
This story is all about the fallout from these feelings; culminating In Cam’s eventual reaction and plan of action in regards to his lover Gabe.
So “Tokyo Heat” was Hot as Hades; like smoking, And as an added bonus we also get to shoot the breeze with the whole Night Series gang which I absolutely adored; such a lovely touch.
Still loving Ethan the most here; he’s my all-time favourite in this series and his one-liners are bloody fantastic; can’t get enough of him.
But my favourite piece of this story was the ending when everyone is chilling around the bar at Soren; loved this angle particularly, it just really shows everyone in such a human light; making everyone kinda a new friend.
We are also introduced in more depth to one half of Gabe’s boss team and I so sense a story there.
Ultimately this really was an enjoyable read and I really felt this gave some added closure to where we left Gabe and Cam back in “One Night” the first novella in this addictive series.
This is currently Free to borrow in KU, but I do recommend you start at the beginning of this series as you will get much more from this if you do.
I’ve said it in the past I’m not a big fan of Novella series preferring full-length reads; but for this series I have made an actual exception, I just really can’t get enough of these boys.
Really can’t recommend the Night Series enough.
I borrowed “Tokyo Heat” (Nights Series #3) from Kindle Unlimited.
All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book three in the series, and you really SHOULD read book one, One Night, first. This is a continuation of Gabe and Cam’s story. And it’s a 5 star read! Book two, The Escort ain’t too shabby either!
A year ago, Cam and Gabe decided one night would never be enough. Then Gabe says those three little words and Cam’s world implodes, and he runs.
I loved One Night, made a new shelf for it and everything. But, while still a great, sexy read, I found this one lacking in the emotions i expected with someone running when told I love you.
Oh! Don’t get me wrong, these guys still burn high, and hot and long. I just didn’t feel connected to Cam as much as I did to Gabe. Because we get Gabe dealing, or rather NOT dealing with the fact that Cam ran, but we don’t get much of Cam after he runs, you know??
BUT OH.MY.GOD! When Cam pulls his head out of his ass and gets his act together and finally realises what that pain in his chest is?? That it’s what he’s feeling for Gabe?? He redeems himself in spectacular fashion! **that fanning again, girls!**
I saw something going on between the two guys who own the company Gabe works for. I wonder what’s going on there and whether they will get a story?? It’s not book 4 or 5, cos I have those all lined up ready to go, but I HOPE they get a story!
Ah, you know what?? Stuff it! I wrote 4 stars at the top of the page because of that not connecting to Cam thing. But now I’m typing it up, I think that’s just CAM, you know?? He doesn’t want you to know what he feels for Gabe, what he’s dealing with while they are apart. He wants GABE to know, just how deeply he loves him. He DOES love Gabe, he just never thought he could love anyone.
So! Upgrading to…
5 even more scorching stars!

3.5 stars. Great characters, well written, tasteful but too short.
I loved both men and their friends. Book three continues with the couple from book one. Their chemistry and passion is amazing.
