The members of the Iron Hunters Motorcycle Club discover the attacks by Mountain Crow Motorcycle Club leader Jerry are retribution for something Ward did six years prior. Jerry of the Mountain Crow Motor Cycle Club has evidence against Ward and he agrees to keep things quiet provided Ward turns over the Iron Hunters Motor Cycle Club to him and leaves. They call his bluff and Jerry turn over his evidence to the authorities. Prospect Rich is suspected of being an FBI informant but they find agents leaving Prospect Blue’s home. They are relieved it’s not Prospect Rich but are heart-broken by the betrayal of the old-but-wonderful prospect who graciously welcomed members into his home when the clubhouse was set on fire. Ward and Slim go through changes as Slim is wanting to come out to the club but Ward is concerned about possible jail time and not wanting to enter prison as a gay man. The audiobook suitably narrated by Eric Umstott.
I’m reviewing the audio edition. I love mc stories and I’m only a listener/reader. My opinion of this story is totally mine…I’m sure others are completely happy with it. This is a continuation from book 1 and ends in a cliffhanger. That is my first problem in that as of this story I didn’t see anywhere how many books there will be. Another problem I have is for a mc story the jail time completely missed the opportunity to be a jail scene. No big bad criminals. No major struggles nor harassment. And okay I’m with that this is a mm bff romance. But not really much romance. There is the struggle with coming out. There are a few issues with the club but then isn’t that a daily occurrence. It does contain plenty of cussing. A couple killings, a fire and a kidnapping. Overall the story is okay but I wish it had been stronger. The narrator, Eric Umstott, does an amazing job with this. He makes the characters realistic and makes the emotion feel real.
Together We Ride – Iron Hunters Series Book #2
YAY!!! The story of Ward and Slim continues….
Twist!! Slim and Rich are kidnapped by Jerry whose trying to blackmail himself into control of the Iron Hunters. Ward killed a dirty cop, and Jerry has pictures and video. Through all of this, Ward still hasn’t let on to the feelings he has for Slim. Safe to say, this is a slow burn rolling into the second book. In all the turmoil, Ward is arrested for murder. Slim is trying to decide if he’s going to wait for him. Is someone talking to the FBI?
My angst is beginning to surface….
Ready for the final book in this series.

Together We Ride by Sasha Goldie & JP Oliver is the second book in the Iron Hunters series. This contemporary m/m romance is full of suspense, violence, danger, motorcycle clubs, the FBI, and steam. I was caught up in the story and wanted even more. Cant wait to get my hands on next book – what a cliffhanger to end on!
The Narrator: is Eric Umstott. Amazing voicework that gave characters personality and life. Great recording.
Trying to survive getting the club clean and legit, and getting around blackmailers and undercover dudes turns out to be a bigger challenge than expected.
If these folks can survive everyone who wants them in hot water, their lives might be more mundane, but will likely never be boring
