Hiding from a dangerous man, Tess Crawford thought The Wiggons’ School for Elegant Young Ladies would be the perfect place to disappear. Or it would be if the local villagers weren’t on edge because of the vampire in their midst, at least they think he’s a vampire. The fascination with the reclusive viscount disrupts the girls’ studies and Tess fights an unending battle to convince her students … students that monsters do not exist.
Vincent Latimer, Viscount Atwood, is not a vampire, no matter what the villagers believe. He wishes the book, Wake Not the Dead, had never been written. There is a very good reason he visits his wife’s grave at night, and it has nothing to do with trying to raise her from the dead.
When a storm thrusts Tess into Vincent’s path and destroys the school, both of their pasts collide.

I liked this book was an easy read and a little different with everyone thinking the main char is a vampire.
A great Gothic style romance/mystery. A school teacher running from her past meets a wealthy and possibly vampiric local who just happens to live in a creepy stone house. Thoroughly enjoyable.
It was an interesting storyline. A little different but it was really good.
It had an interesting twist. I enjoyed the characters and their challenges in life. I would recommend it.
3 girls at Wiggons School for girls cause havoc with their antics and vivid imaginations. Bought 2 more books in the series.
I loved what you put your characters through for this story.
Historical fiction with British customs of the past were written. Comedy was not evenly included and the danger was wrapped up imperfectly.
I enjoyed this story because it was different from most romances of this type. I liked the humor especially.
I enjoyed this book. it is a story of a young woman who is hiding as a teacher in a private school because of a crime she thought she committed. The neighbor is a mystery and some think he is a vampire because he is out at night and sleeps during the day. They meet during a storm and end up helping each other.
