To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me … letting you take me on a date.
Sincerely,
Magnolia Allen
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

This is an awesome book! You will fall in love with Magnolia because you will be able to totally relate to her. Jagger is a fun crazy guy. You learn to love him! The twists in this book are awesome. You will fully enjoy this book!
“To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five” (The Inappropriate Bachelors Book 1) by J. S. Cooper is a great read. I enjoyed Magnolia and Jagger’s story. This story is packed with romance, passion, humor, entertaining characters, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next in The Inappropriate Bachelors Series. Recommend to all fans of romance, humor, and series.
I loved this book. It drew me right in and kept me hooked. I couldn’t put my kindle down. Their connection was so strong but neither wanted to act on it until it was too late. And then they did, but things didn’t turn out the way they planned. Ten years later they get the chance for a do over. Can they get it right this time? Loved it, ok recommend it!!!
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
This was the book I needed to read today, as I was in dire need of a good laugh. That first chapter with the notes from Apt #5 to Apt #4 will have you laughing out loud. Jagger, well he is a goofball with a dirty mind but on the long run you will see his heart of gold. Magnolia, she’s your typical 28 year old, but she’s carrying a lot of guilt from events of her past. Fate will intervene and she will get a second chance to get it right.

The Rude Guy in Apartment Five is a second change romance with a twist. Magnolia and Jagger never really got together when they were younger but there was always something there. Now it’s 10 years later and Jagger is back in Magnolia’s life in a big way, as her next door neighbor.
I love Jagger and his cheekiness and swagger he’s so yummy and irresistible and Magnolia even though she is strong and can take care of herself has a huge weakness for Jagger. They are so electric together and you really want them to have their happy ending.
If you are looking for a funny book with some feels look no further.

OMG, this book drew me in from the very first note that was left. I loved the whole banter between apartments 4 and 5. I was laughing more and more with each note. When Magnolia (#4) realizes who Jagger (#5) is, it was so great because there was some history between them and she never thought she would see him again. Sometimes fate has other plans. 10 years ago, they made an almost mistake that hurt several people in their lives. Fast forward 10 years later and the feelings and chemistry that was between them was still there, even if she wanted to fight it. I loved them together. They had that push and pull between them that everyone could feel. Fate had plans and there was no reason for them to fight it. Fate always wins and they were so lucky that they were in the crosshairs. This story will have you laughing, swooning and falling in love with Magnolia and Jagger. I love the other girls in this book and I can’t wait to read their stories. Highly recommend this read.

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was funny and sexy and it was enjoyable to read!!!! It had me hooked from the very beginning!!!!
It all started with a note from the new neighbor next door… each new note made him seem arrogant!!
Magnolia Allen is annoyed by her new neighbor that she has been trying to avoid… little does she know that she is about to have a blast from the past!!
Jagger Scott is sexy and crude and knows how to make Magnolia laugh… even when she is angry with him!! Can he break through her walls and get her to talk to him?
The chemistry between them is off the charts and Magnolia is having a hard time resisting Jagger!!!
This is a new series by this author and I was sucked in from the start and couldn’t put this down. Jagger and Magnolia chemistry will melt your kindle. I loved the banter between them, the dirty notes he would leave on her door just to get a rise out of her. She definitely wasn’t expecting her new neighbor to be so freaking hot, but also he’s a big pain in her butt. You get a little drama, laughs and some fun with their story. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next book in the series. I received a copy of this book.
To be honest I wasn’t going to read it…I was having a bad day and I remember I had an ARC to read. So I was like what the heck…. I’m glad I read The Rude Guy In Apartment Five. It made me laugh at the back and forth notes the characters were sending each other. The chemistry that everyone in the story had was like something I can related with when I’m out with my friends. I really recommend this book.
I absolutely fell in love with this book. Jagger is funny and cocky. And not only that was super sexy! Magnolia and Jagger are neighbors but is that really the first time they have met? Let’s just say Magnolia finds out some new details from the past. This book is funny and the characters have great chemistry. Some of the scenes are hottt!!
I received this ARC for a honest review.
From the beginning, this book dragged me in. Jagger’s Scot (apartment 5) started out to be so arrogant and cheeky starting with leaving post it on his neighbour Magnolias (apartment 4) door. Some were rude, some obnoxious. That’s how things started out and then one day they met face to face and all hell broke loose. Lots of twists and turns along the way during the book. I read it in one sitting. Great that Magnolia got to find friends and they always had her back. Especially Jane. The chemistry between Jagger and Magnolia was sizzling. This book has an amazing HEA and I fell in love with Jagger Scot myself. Another great read from my favourite author. Thanks Jaimie.
This book was so much fun. I loved the characters and was laughing within the first chapter. I loved the journey and and the writing style of the author. I loved all the relationships that evolved on the book as well. I can’t wait for the next one!!
Great book! The characters are so well written. The book draws you in and is such fun! Magnolia and Jagger have this chemistry that is hot but takes awhile to unravel. But when you learn the past it gets hot! Excellent book!
Jagger and Magnolia were a great couple! I loved the secret notes in the beginning. The banter in the notes was really funny. The way that Jagger was going at Magnolia was funny at some points in the story. It was very cool how she got a new job being inexperienced but turned out kicking ass at it. The girls in the office were a hoot! Magnolia being a very stubborn and determined girl was a great character. Jagger sexy sassy and fun was a nice balance to her. The secrets and lies were a great twist! It was overall a great read!
Humor and love
4.5
Excellent well written romance, which has a simple side, but the relationship between Jagger and Magnolia is often funny by their exchanges whether on notes or between them. This story has a lot of humor from the first chapter.
Magnolia exchanges more and more aggressive notes with her new neighbor until she discovers who he is: Jagger, an old acquaintance from her childhood. We understand that something happened 10 years ago and that she is angry with him. From that moment, Jagger will spend his time teasing her, harassing her with nice, but very annoying little gestures, in an attempt to get closer to her.
She begins a new job in a new start-up and she doesn’t understand why all the employees are women who seem inexperienced in what is asked of them: she thought she was taken as a fashion blogger and finds herself having to write for a new financial application.
Between her work for which she knows nothing, her new slightly crazy friends, and Jagger who makes her go crazy, Magnolia’s situation made me laugh a lot and I couldn’t put the book down. I’m looking forward to the story of Magnolia’s colleague Jane with Tate, their boss.

Great start to a new series!! Have you ever run from an embarrassing moment and hoped it never came back to haunt you? This story is based on that idea. Magnolia has loved Jagger for years, but after what happened to her when she was 18, hoped to never see him again. Jagger has loved Magnolia, but messed up when she finally made her move to show him he was the one she wanted. Loved the banter though notes that this story has. The characters are great and keep you coming back for more. This can be read as a stand alone story, but I’m looking forward to next in the series! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Cute and whimsical. Jagger and Magnolia send these funny notes back and forth to each. Great chemistry between the two before Magnolia even finds out who the rude guy from apt 5 is. Loved it. Had me laughing at them. Great book
To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five has everything you want in a hilarious romance story… secrets, explosive chemistry, witty banter, lots of humor, twists, drama, suspense, heartache, a great story line, funny characters, and a happily ever after.

Hilarious Banter And Enemies To Lovers Tension! Under Jagger And Magnolia’s Crazy Love Story Sits A Rich History That Ended With Years Of Pain.
This is the first book in a new series which appears to revolve around a group of five women who are hired at a new tech start-up in San Francisco and become fast friends. This is Magnolia’s story about her rude new neighbor. The next in the series is about Jane. To My Arrogant Boss is her story about her socially awkward boss Tate.
Magnolia Allen, twenty-eight, is starting over in San Francisco. The years long tenuous relationship she has with her family had eased some, but she would always feel the shame. With her dead end love life in New York and a best friend that was drifting, she had decided it was time for change and headed to the West Coast. Strained for cash in her new surroundings, she got lucky when she was hired as a fashion blogger for a mysterious new start-up. Her personal blog about dating and losing weight barely qualified her, but she was determined to prove her worth. Her luck doesn’t hold out when the new guy in apartment five next door – Jagger – turns out to be a rude and obnoxious thorn in her side. The notes he leaves have her blood boiling, and she will have words for him once they finally meet face to face.
Kingston Jagger Scott, thirty, is the last person Magnolia expects to find when she finally meets her new neighbor. He is stilll incorrigible, sexy, and charming. Why he left Wall Street behind is a mystery, as is the reason he no longer goes by his first name. His name alone brings back painful memories that she will always regret. He knows all her youthful secrets. He knows what had happened with Doug. He had joked at her pain. Her life had been forever changed that horrible night. She doesn’t enjoy it when he stands before her now, reminding her of all she wanted to forget. Yet a quiet part of her delights at his presence. That he is now a player is obvious, so she won’t fall prey to his game.
Magnolia’s new job proves to be exciting, scary, and confusing. The tiny company turns out to be launching an app dealing with consumer credit, collection agencies, and personal finance – aptly named Cool Credit. She immediately bonds with four women from work – Jane, Millie, Olivia, and Birdie – forming a circle of friends who encourage and support one another. When she shares that her rude
neighbor is someone from her past, her new friends lend their ears and offer ideas.
Filled with hilarious banter and enemies to lovers tension, Jagger and Magnolia’s crazy love story is light and playful. However, underneath the surface sits a rich history that ended with years of pain. Neither Jagger nor Magnolia got the closure that now stands in the the couple’s way. As their story unravels, Jagger and Magnolia find their truths plagued with misunderstanding. But despite all she learns and her attraction to him, Magnolia fears Jagger is too immature to take her seriously, and she desperately wants to avoid more heartbreak. As the entirety of the past is laid out, it is heartbreaking to see how so many outside influences and small decisions, though often well-meaning, conspired to result in a fateful night that left Jagger and Magnolia scarred. The couple eventually earns their HEA.
Jagger and Magnolia’s sweet and sassy story of second chances is a delightful quick read. It is nicely written. The plot is somewhat complex, with layers and revelations that maintain interest. The characters are colorful. Jagger is fantastic, and Tate promises to be just as interesting in book two of the series. The story is written in first person. It is written in Magnolia’s POV, with the epilogue in Jagger’s. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The story of Magnolia and Jagger is funny, quirky, sweet and so entertaining. Magnolia is a blogger who moved from NYC to San Francisco. She starts getting notes from her next door neighbor, that are funny, at times naughty but so amusing. She soon meets her neighbor and it turns out to be somebody from her past. From there, they go on this journey to put the past to rest for both of them to a bright future. The characters are funny, eclectic and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for all of them. This. Friends, to ennemies to lovers story is a guaranteed heartwarming feeling with a few crazy twist an turns that only Jaimie can come up with! I honestly volunteered to review this amazing story.
