To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me … letting you take me on a date.
Sincerely,
Magnolia Allen
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

Omg, this is my happy book. With everything that’s going on in the world right now. This book completely took my mind off it for a while. It’s funny and so charming. Banter, flirting, love, past, it was all so good. I couldn’t put it down, I wasn’t ready for it to end. Magnolia and Jagger were quite the pair.
I was so satisfied with this book. You won’t be disappointed.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
If your looking for a book that is sweet and sexy then this is it. I loved reading this story. Magnolia and Jagger had such chemistry from the start. It all starts with notes left on the door and you just have to keep reading to find out what’s going to happen. I loved how well this story moved I had to keep reading just to get to the next part so I could know what was going to happen. All of the characters are well written and I loved getting to know the girls that Magnolia works with along with her boss, Tate. I can’t wait to read their stories and continue reading about this wonderful world J.S. Cooper has created.
How can a book dedicated to one’s dog not be really good!
From the first word to the very last this book grabbed my attention, and I kept “flipping” the pages till the very last page. Magnolia and Jagger are an interesting combination especially with their note leaving without realizing who the other party really was. When they do “meet” each other, the sparks fly and the feelings combust. As always the characters, story, and writing are terrific!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the first book in the Inappropriate Bachelors series. Meet Jagger and Magnolia. These two clash and attract, they will heat up your reading device and make you laugh out loud. This is the perfect story! It contains it all and a journey to tempt two characters to finding a HEA. Enjoy!
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, I received a copy from the author.
I’ve read a lot of books written by J.S. Cooper; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

Sometimes a love a book that I can read uninterrupted, and The Rude Guy was one of these. What a fantastic way to spend a morning!!! It was a great time to laugh out loud; to have FUN!
Ms. Cooper is an exceptional author and she proves with this that she can cross genres easily!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Magnolia arrives home to a mess at the front of her door thanks to her new neighbor so she writes him a notes ranting over it. This causes her new neighbor Jagger to write her back himself. These little letters are basically foreplay between them. Then when they meet face to face Magnolia sees that Jagger is really “King” a man she was in love with from back in their hometown. This makes her want to avoid him even more so she throws herself into her new job. A job that was supposed to be about fashion blogging but turned out to be about finance instead. The other people she works with are women as well and they get along great. They even help her with some of her plans for Jagger after she opened a package he left her at work and they all saw what he got her. Jagger wants a second chance with her but isn’t sure Magnolia will give it to him. He is willing to do whatever she needs him to do in order to be with her. Will Magnolia break down and give into Jagger? What will she do when she learns all the secrets he has been keeping?
This is an amazing story I couldn’t put it down and was laughing out loud through most of it. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Magnolia and Jagger are a part of a quintessential love story. Childhood friends that were torn apart by circumstance only to be brought together by fate. Magnolia is trying to begin her career in San Francisco when the rude guy in apartment five begins to leave notes on her door. The witty banter and back and forth of the notes continues until they finally meet face to face. Magnolia realizes that Jagger is the rude guy in apartment five. Jagger has just moved to San Francisco to “begin” the rest of his life.
To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five is a love story that will have you reading with a smile on your face and the hope for the two main characters to have a happily ever after.
Love the cover! Authors writing style is great with the word building etc. The sexy wonderful characters are made for each other and grab you from the beginning
I loved the witty banter back and forth. The characters were so entertaining I was actually laughing out loud. Don’t miss out on this book! It doesn’t disappoint!
This book is very cute and it starts out with the tenants in apartments in #4 and #5 leaving notes for each other on there doors. The notes start off as innocent until they become flirty. As Magnolia and Jagger continue to exchange there notes we also discover that Magnolia is writing a blog. When Magnolia and Jagger finally meet the shock is there because they used to be friends and we finally realize why Magnolia doesn’t like Jagger that much. The banter between these two is great, and the chemistry between these two is hot, hot, and HOT!!! This is the type of book that came out at the right time with all that is going on right now.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Wowza!!
OMG!! This was by far my favorite book from J.S. Cooper!! Right from the start I knew that this was going to easily become one of my favorite books and I wasn’t wrong!! I loved the playfulness between Jagger and Magnolia but aside from they playful banter there was an underlying elephant in the room. I tried guessing as to what their past had involved and just when you think you have it all figured out…BAM…nope! And you didn’t even see it coming. Jagger is a man on a mission and Magnolia has no idea what is headed her way. Don’t even try to guess how this story plays out because it’s definitely not what you expect…in the best way possible!
OMG I laughed so much through out Magnolia and Jagger story. As always J.S Cooper did a great job with this story. When Jagger moved into apartment 5 which is next door to Magnolia wo lives in apartment 4 the laugh out loud banter begins. Before they even meet face to face they exchange funny banter between them as they leave notes on each other door. Each note gets funnier than the one before. We they finally do met they realize they were childhood friends and there was a history there which caused pain. Once they know who each other is and their history can they get past it? This is a must read. you will laugh so much.
This is a entertaining, delightful, and fun story. Its wonderful written. It has a wonderful storyline. The are characters are fun to read about. I truly enjoyed reading this story.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
This book was so funny and The Rude Guy is just full of it! When a new neighbor moved in to Magnolia’s apartment building right next door he causes all kinds of havoc and they complain to each other by notes. Magnolia just wants to do good at her interview but the pest in Apartment 5 won’t give up and she barely gets the job. Magnolia is fending off his sexual comments but she hasn’t been on a date in over a year so maybe she might go easy on Rude guy till she meets him.
I voluntarily reviewed this ARC in exchange for a honest review. Another great read by JS Cooper.
This first story in the series was great. Loved Jagger and Magnolia. They were great characters with a steamy chemistry. They fell in love when they were younger. Jagger could not give up on Magnolia and stormed back into her life. So glad that they got their second chance at love. Looking forward to the next books in this series..
This book starts with a series of funny notes between two neighbors. You think the one neighbor is a completely rude, crude guy but it turns out he is someone from Magnolia’s past. Jagger and Magnolia have a past, a messy complicated past that she has tried to forget. But he cannot forget her.
As the book goes on, your opinion of the “rude guy” will change. It is hard to review this without giving away so much of the plot but you will learn to love Jagger more and more as the book goes on. Their relationship is checkered by past events that neither of the them has a full picture of. But when everything is finally out in the open, they have a sweet reunion.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book for an honest review.
Loved this book
the story between Magnolia and Jagger was hot
She starts getting notes from her next door neighbor , that are funny, at times and sexually . She soon meets her neighbor and it turns out to be somebody from her past
they work things out and they have a happy ending
I recommend this book
Great Great story!!! Book starts out with the new guy moving into Apt #5 & leaving notes on the door of our female character- Apt #4. (These notes had me laughing out loud) Add in a new job, some new & fun female office coworkers, and you’ve got a great romantic comedy. Be still my heart.
Great read!!! Has comical dialogue back & forth between Magnolia & Jagger,
steamy bedroom & couch scenes, & romance!!! Shout out to Magnolia going to college in IOWA!!!
I received this book as an ARC for my honest opinion. I enjoy reading J.S. Coopers’ books. If not for the ARC I would have gotten it anyway & happily reviewed it because I loved the romance in this book!!!
This was such a fun and entertaining book. I loved the idea of the notes that were passed back and forth between Magnolia and Jagger. Everything he went through to get back to her was so sweet and at some times funny(the notes) I enjoyed how the story unfolded and their past explained. They definitely had a connection that never went away. This is one of Ms Cooper’s best stories and the HEA was so good. I can’t wait to read Jane and Tate’s book. Great start to a new series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. (less)
