To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me … letting you take me on a date.
Sincerely,
Magnolia Allen
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

I loved this book! I loved the banter between Magnolia and Jagger. Their notes reeled me in from the beginning. It’s a fast-paced, hilarious, hot story that kept me entertained throughout. I can’t wait to read Tate’s story. It’s a must read.

I enjoyed this book. It made me laugh. Jagger and Magnolia’s letters cracked me up. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you don’t like bossy, cocky guys, cussing or open-door sexy times then back away from this book. If you like that in a book, then I think you’ll enjoy this. Each book in the Inappropriate Bachelors series will feature one of Magnolia’s new friends she made at work. Magnolia had book then it will be Jane, Millie, Olivia and Birdy.
Magnolia and Jagger have known each other since they were young children and they’ve book had crushes on each other without the other realizing it. Misunderstandings happen and they haven’t talked in 10 years. Now Jagger is Magnolia’s new neighbor. They start off writing notes back and forth and leaving them on each other’s doors. Before long they’re talking to each other and Jagger is trying to convince Magnolia to go out with him. Will they be able to work through their differences?

I love these characters. “The Inappropriate Bachelor” Jagger is a loveable character, despite being a bit vulgar! Magnolia is sweet and relatable. This is a quick read. It is easy to follow the story and you really do root for the characters to have a happy ending! Definitely read this book!
I didn’t know how this was going to go as this is the first book I read by this author. I was pleasantly surprised and now I’ll be reading the rest of the stories. I was laughing from the very beginning and then I was intrigued. There are twists that you don’t see the coming and the story keeps ty hooked until it’s all revealed. Magnolia and Jagger are funny and sexy together. We only get Magnolia’s point of view throughout the story however and only get Jagger’s in the epilogue. I would have loved to have gotten a glimpse of his side during the story as well.
This was a cute story. I enjoyed the notes they left for each other. I liked Jagger and Magnolia but I am a little unsure on how I feel about what Jagger did to get back into Magnolia’s life. I don’t want to give away the entire story, but basically they used to be next door neighbors and friends when they were teenagers and after an incident between them and their siblings, Magnolia left at 18 and never saw our spoke to Jagger again. They were both in love with each other but neither knew how the other person felt. Then Jagger comed back into her life 10 years later on the opposite side of the country. The way he did it and manipulated her, some may say it was sweet, but it feels a little creepy stalkerish to me. They have a HEA, but if I was that girl, and I found out how he put everything into motion, I’m not sure how I would feel about that. I would’ve preferred that when they met again after 10 years, that it would’ve been coincidental. Just my opinion. Otherwise, it was a cute love story and I enjoyed the secondary characters. Especially Jane who I’m sure we’ll be starring in the next book.

This book had me laughing one second at the back and forth banter between Jagger and Magnolia through their notes they leave each other. Jagger comes off as this rude obnoxious guy writing little notes to his new neighbor and Magnolia finds him to be annoying and wants to be left alone. Then we find out that these two actually know each other and have a history that is kind of a disaster, but their attraction is still strong and as they try to fight against it Magnolia finds herself not being able to for too long. A very good read that has Magnolia trying to move on with her life while trying to go against what she felt and feels towards Jagger and Jagger is this sweetheart with one thing on his mind and that is to get his girl.
I loved this book so much! Magnolia is a smart, sweet, sassy woman and ends up with a new neighbor that she ends up passing hilarious notes back and forth to for a while. Little does she know her new neighbor is someone she knows. When they finally meet face to face the sparks start flying right along with the snarky comebacks. Their chemistry/connection is off the charts hot and their history only adds to the flames. This was a great read that I could not put down.

This story was quite fun to read and I have to say that I was a bit surprise at how good it actually is. I don´t know why but I wasn´t really expecting that much. But it has a good storyline and on occasion it was quite funny.. Of course just the idea behind the story is quite hilarious. The characters are also both quite well written out and also funny. Overall it was just a good book to read and thus it deserves the fabulous four stars I am giving it here.

Magnolia is struggling after she moves to San Fran. A new neighbor moves in next door and she leaves him a note about silly things left by her door and the hallway. They go back and forth with funny and obnoxious notes, and when they finally meet they realize they know each other from growing up together in NYC.
This all happens as she starts a new job with a startup and things get funny and sexy from there. Jagger is an odd duck but he’s so likable. Magnolia starts off a bit annoying but you warm up to her when you get the back story. Love the HEA.
Can’t wait to read about Jane and Tate next.

This book was funny, sassy, interesting but mostly for me a great read. Loved the interaction between Jagger and Magnolia, the notes passed between them were amusing and l found myself chuckling more than once, I really enjoyed how the story developed and the supporting characters played a very important part. Very enjoyable book.

Magnolia is a 28 year old who is starting a new job in San Francisco and lives in Apt.5. A new tenant moves into Apt. 4 and starts leaving post-it-note messages on her door. As time goes on the notes get funny, sometimes rude, and more sarcastic. After 3 weeks Magnolia finally meets Jagger, her new neighbor and former teenage crush. They had not seen each other in 10 years when she left home at 18 after a very embarrassing encounter but she still had feelings for him. They continued to share funny notes and got to know each other again. Would they be able to forget past embarrassments and find true happiness together?
I loved this book and could hardly put it down until I finished. You really got to know the characters well and the author threw in some fun surprises near the end. Is especially loved the epilogue.

Magnolia just got a random offer for a blogging position for a startup tech company. She’s also got a new neighbor. They start out sending notes back and forth. Her new neighbor is very much a man, annoying and on the manwhore side. When they finally run into each other her new neighbor turns out to be her childhood crush, Jagger. She isn’t happy because it brings back old memories. The last time she saw him he was taking her virginity and her boyfriend (his younger brother) was walking in on them. They struggle for awhile because Jagger is very immature and acts like all he wants is in her pants. She loves him still but doesn’t want to or that’s at least what she thinks. It’s funny, cute and an HEA. There is definitely steam and you just want to scream at them to just get it on already sheesh! It’s very worth reading.

The cover and blurb is what first drew me to this book.
I really started off liking this book. The notes between apartment four and the rude guy in apartment five were hilarious. Magnolia seemed like she was going to be a great funny heroine.
But then something just went wrong.
The characters just seemed too immature for being 28 and 30. There were too many plot holes. Too many things were left unexplained. The ending seemed really rushed. Jagger explained what happened, blah, blah, it’s over. Just seems like there was so much more that was left unexplained and left unsaid.
I really hope that Tate and Jane’s book is better.

I loved this book. It’s the story of Magnolia and Jagger. They’ve known each other most of their lives and due to a lot of miscommunication and immaturity they haven’t seen each other in 10 years. When Jagger suddenly reappears in her life as her next door neighbor. Little does Magnolia realize all the good things happening for her have a lot to do with Jagger. This story is funny and engaging as you watch Jagger try to right the wrongs and win back Magnolia. Great summer read while lounging by the pool sipping on a drink. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.

I thought that this book was quite funny. This book/series is a bit of an over-the-top Rom-Com that I feel will hold a broader appeal to a certain type of niche reader. If you have the type of sense of humor that enjoys an inappropriate comedy movie, I think you will get lots of chuckles, eye rolls and yes, you having to endure some distasteful moments. If you are looking for highbrow, serious and politically correct, you are not going to find it here. I found the back and forth notes to be (mostly) funny. Once Magnolia and Jagger come face-to-face though, a bit of the appeal waned for me because it seemed less fun, anonymous flirting and more straight up immaturity. That being said, I still thought this was a good read. This is my frank, volitional review.
There is nothing like some sexy push and pull and intense sexual tension between two characters. I adored Magnolia and Jagger’s relationship and could not but root for them from their very first interaction. Magnolia and Jagger begin communicating through notes before meeting each other in person. Magnolia is in for a shock when she realize that Jagger is her former best friend’s older brother and her childhood friend. The anticipation to find out more about their disastrous past made it impossible to put the book down. They have a second chance to right their past but Jagger has some maturing to do to prove to Magnolia that he is serious about her. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Magnolias new friends, who will also be a part of this series. They have all gotten a new job at a start up credit company owned by Tate Howard (book two’s H) and have grown close, creating some hilarious moments. There was no single moment with the girls that I did not laugh out loud. I am very eager for the rest of the series!

Jagger and Magnolia have chemistry. I wish that there were more chapters of them being in love than her being mad but he never stopped chasing her.

I was hooked from page one of this book and had a really hard time putting it down! It was funny, romantic, full of great characters that you can relate too and bring you back in for more. I’m so excited for this series to see what other tails these girls get up to. Jagger and Magnolia know each other from childhood and lost contact for 10 years and the chemistry is still strong between them when they reconnect. I loved reading their story and rooting for them to get their happily every after!!
