To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me … letting you take me on a date.
Sincerely,
Magnolia Allen
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

This is the story of Magnolia and Jagger and how they reconnected in San Fran after being friends in NY 10 years previous. I liked Magnolia, she wasn’t annoying, Jagger was funny and sometimes inappropriate with the things he said. The banter between them was good and the notes being exchanged in the beginning were hilarious. It’s a good light hearted story with wit, steam and a HEA.
This Book was EVERYTHING I didn’t know I needed! I’ve had a really shitty last few months with personal things and I haven’t been able to pick up a book. I accidentally one-clicked this one and thought what the heck maybe it’s a sign, I loved the blurb. I was instantly hooked and I devoured it in nothing flat! I just couldn’t get enough!! This is a Laugh-Out-Loud, short and sweet MUST read that I highly recommend! It’s been so long since I’ve read a Cooper book and I’m so happy to have stumbled on to this one! No one and I mean no one gives you uncontrollable laughter quite like Cooper! This book had me dying! I loved the characters and their history! Everything was so addicting! I was charmed by the King and mortified with embarrassment for Magnolia! I loved all the characters and I can’t wait to read the other books in this series, I know they’re going to be fantastic! Thank you Cooper for getting me out of this Depressive funk!
Overall I liked this book. It clearly was better than the next book which I have already read. In this one we have Jagger and Magnolia. It begins with them passing notes. Comes to find out that they have a past together. Thankfully this time they get it all worked out and get the happy ending they both have wanted for a long time.
This is a book that from the first note to the last page, it keep me laughing and engaged the whole way through. The character’s banter and connection is off this chart that i is difficult to put the book down.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It has been awhile that I laughed this hard on minute and fanned myself the next. I loved Jagger’s tenacity and Magnolia’s resistance. The secondary characters where interesting also. A great read!

Magnolia and Jagger are one of the best second chance, best friend stories that I have read. I love their story, if it just did not have such a long wait between. This story is fun and flirty and witty. I like the characters and the banter. There is good humor and great chemistry. The people and situations are well written. The book moves smoothly from beginning to end. 4.5 fun sparkly stars. Round up

I absolutely LOVED this book!!!! JS Cooper rocked this book!!!! This series is absolutely a rock star series!!!! I am working my way through all 9 of them!!!! They’re witty, smoking hot, and their characters are absolutely amazing!!!! Can’t wait to read more of them, and more from JS Cooper!!!!
Last month I happen to come across the three books in the Inappropriate Bachelor Series on Booksprout and I was so excited that I binged all three back to back. Well, as much as one can binge read when also being a blogger LOL So it took about four weeks …
To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five: This story was actually quite cute but a while but then #twitchy. There are situations that are revealed from the past that have me all kinds of confused on how they weren’t a bigger issue than how they were written. Without giving away the plot of the story, their past is convoluted and our heroine just kinda shrugs it off way too quickly and there’s a forgive/forget that comes barreling at us from out of nowhere. While I’m not happy with how the story ended, getting there was mostly entertaining so 3 Stars overall.
To My Arrogant Boss: ahhhhh, so much more goodness than book 1 lol Although to be fair, I did like the first book but I love this one! I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between Tate and Jane. Their meet-cute was hilarious and it laid a foundation to fantastic shenanigans. Tate is over-the-top arrogant, and I loved it. It’s exactly what this story needed. Jane was his perfect match in every possible way! I loved the friendship between the women and how it’s the center of this series. This is beginning to be a series I won’t want to end; I can feel! 4.5 Stars overall!!
To My First And Last One Night Stand: aaaaaand we’re back to #twitchy LOL Here’s the thing, there is a fine line between arrogant and a$$hole. Our hero walked that line thru this entire book and sometimes fell flat on his face on the a$$hole side LOL I’m not saying I disliked this book because of it, but it certainly didn’t help in me liking it either. The story-line itself is entertaining and actually well written but it’s one of those book where you don’t know if you like it or not so you just keep reading. That happens more often than I care to admit LOL 3 Stars overall!
One last thing. I know it sounds/ reads like my overall enjoyment of this series was lacking, but it actually was not. The key word here is overall. Now that I got to read all three in a short period of time I feel comfortable saying that they should be read as a continual series, meaning they are really not standalones. This series revolves around a group of women who are good friends. Their stories are interconnected. Your best bet is to read them all or none. Just my opinion.

Well written story full of complex relationships among characters. Well created plot and background. It is a good read for funs of books focused on people’s interactions. Easy to read and enjoyable.

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. There were lots of feels in this story. I did a lot of laughing and some cringing too. The characters were interesting. Magnolia’s new friends at her new job were hilarious and supportive. There were times that I was very frustrated with both Magnolia and Jagger but I pushed through. The issues that Jagger and Magnolia suffered from would totally have been avoided with communication. I liked their happy ever after. I do wish there was another epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

4 1/2 stars:
A delightful story that was humorous and entertaining. I liked their interactions and dialogue. Though a few of the scenes were surprising and didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the story, I still found it an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more.
5 stars:
The audible version was a wonderful way to enjoy this story. The voice actors brought this story to life and made it even more entertaining. Hearing these scenes made for some laugh-out-loud moments which made my family look at me a but strangely but also indulgently. (Love my earbuds).

This is a new to me author but the blurb caught my attention as well as that gorgeous cover! This book was hilarious and romantic and complicated… but I loved every minute! Jagger was so gross to me in the beginning and I wasn’t sure what they were playing at but they grew on me for sure. Excited for more!

DNF – Did not work for me
To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five is the first book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series and is about Magnolia and Jagger. This is not the first book I have read by J.S. Cooper so I was looking forward to cracking this book open and starting what new series that looked to be fun and sexy. Well this book did not quite turn out that way for me. I just did not find the story to deliver on what the book description promised. There was no witty banter, no charming fun and no wonderful characters. In the end I was disappointed and DNF this book. But as I already know this author’s writing I am going to read the next couple in this series to see if they pick up for me before deciding whether to stop reading this series or not.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I loved this book by J.S. Cooper which is the third novel in The Inappropriate Bachelors series. It features Magnolia Allen and Jagger Scott who are absolutely amazing characters. This book is full of humor, banter, and sizzling romance. I highly recommend this feel good and heartwarming read!

Really enjoyed this lough out loud, sexy, fun and action packed adventure filled with exciting and engaging charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. Was an emotionally thrilling journey that had me on the edge of my seat.
Loved it.
Imagine finding out the Mysterious Neighbour, who keeps leaving notes on your door,is actually NOT so mysterious.
He is someone from your past, someone you know and dislike and someone you seem to have an attraction too despite this.
Magnolia is the lucky girl who finds herself in this situation with the very cocky ,playful Jagger. These two had me in stitches their witty banter and sarcasm towards one another it was hilarious. They had scorching chemistry and this whole story had me hooked,I throughly enjoyed the Romance, the heat, the comedy and the sweetness that made this book Amazing between two characters that I adored. It is a great feel good read and I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed reading this book. I thought it had it’s funny moments, sappy moments, and plenty of other moments. I liked the chemistry between the characters too. I really have been enjoying reading this series. I am glad they all standalone because I ended up reading them out of order without even realizing it. I like that the two main characters had a history. There were secrets that should have never been secrets but I can understand why they were at the time. I couldn’t rate a 5 though because of the secrets that were kept. I liked that the main characters knew each other pretty much all their lives so this was not an insta-love story. The plot is interesting and moves along at a steady pace. I would recommend this book and series to others.

I thought this read was pretty cute. I loved the notes that Jagger and Magnolia wrote to each other. They were just too funny. Their history and what happened between them made me roll my eyes but all in all a good story. Can’t wait for Tate and Jane’s book.
