To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me … letting you take me on a date.
Sincerely,
Magnolia Allen
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

Format: Kindle Edition
What can I say, I am a sucker for a guy in love and Jagger is what millions of girls would LOVE to have fawning over them. He’s charismatic, sexy as hell, funny, sweet and a little RUDE at times. I loved chemistry between Jagger and Magnolia. The notes added to the excitement of the storyline. Of course there’s hinting towards a little something brewing between Magnolias friend Jane and Jaggers partner Tate. I cannot wait to read their story next.
What an amazing book. This was a funny and entertaining book with amazing characters. This had a great storyline with well developed characters. I loved Jagger and Magnolias story and their chemistry. This book was 5 stars all the way!!!
Enjoyed this book so much. Had me laughing out loud. I love when an author can keep me this entertained, we need more fun in our lives.
This book is fun to read, especially when I’m confined at home these days due to Coronavirus. I loved the door notes and laughed aloud reading the innuendos and snarky messages. I thought the characters were a
Little immature for their ages. I thought they acted more like early rather than late twenties. I like second chance books and this was a good one.
Love the banter between Jagger and Magnolia. They had me laughing throughout the book. It was a great light hearted read for me!
Fun read. Jagger, AKA Rude Guy, keeps leaving notes on Magnolia’s door to torment her. She has enough on her plate with a new job and all, yet she can’t stop herself from responding to the notes. When they finally cross paths and meet in person, her world stops. He isn’t just some random stranger… he is her long time crush. The characters are both fun and likeable, though sometimes he comes off as a bit of an arrogant bastard with the things he says. His character is a little hot and cold. He’ll act charming and say sweet things one minute, then a little later he’ll go back into that jerk mode. She has a past with him that left a bad taste in her mouth, though not really his fault, but something that makes her want to keep pushing him away. Neither one perfect, both having made mistakes and done things they wished they could undo. We get an intro into the characters who are featured in future books in the series, which is always nice. There is sexual content that is suitable for mature readers. It is written from her POV. It is a quick and easy read.
This was one of those random books that sounded fun and I bought it on sale for kindle. I really liked the story of Magnolia and Kingston, sometimes it felt a little rushed, like the author was trying to move it along too quickly, but it all came together in the end. There were parts in this book where I couldn’t wait to know what happened next, parts where I thought Kingston was the biggest jerk, and then parts that made me tear up for the happy moments. If you want a cute, quick read, this is a cute book.
I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review & brought the audio

This book was great. I loved the notes that were written back and forth. It was silly and had me laughing a time or two. It was funny, romantic, and satisfying. I strongly recommend it.
Very funny love story with a definite goal in mind. Easy read.
Magnolia lives in Apartment 4 of her building and starts beginning to get notes from her rude neighbour in Apartment 5. The notes are witty, snarky, and as they continue it becomes obvious that Apartment 5 thinks Magnolia is a man! Magnolia is quick to disabuse that notion! Magnolia starts a new job working as a fashion blogger for a mysterious firm with three other girls, only to discover it’s an financial app company. One day Magnolia discovers that her neighbour is Kingston, who she hasn’t seen in ten years, since the night she seduced him. Jagger is about to change her life – for the better!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this engaging entertaining compelling witty and charming story the story is filled with witty humour, banter, flirting, gossip, best friends, unrequited love, misunderstanding, revelations, and true love. The story is well written, fast paced with interesting characters that a reader can’t help but love.
The story is told from Magnolia’s POV and reflects the thoughts feelings and emotions as she sorts out her complex feelings for Jagger. The story has an epilogue with a HEA
This story has some very witty writing that had me laughing out loud. Jagger was very charming, even if slightly juvenile, but underneath he has a romantic soul. Magnolia is sweet and quirky.
4 star Review of To The Rude Guy In Apartment Five (The Inappropriate Bachelors #1) by

AUDIO REVIEW:
Having read and listened to previous books by this author I was excited to listen To The Rude Guy In Apartment Five. This was a fun and entertaining listen that captured my attention from the first to the last chapter.
This is Magnolia Allen and Jagger Scott’s story and is certainly steamy and at times funny. The narrator Laurie West is relatively new to me and she did a good job with the narration.
Having moved to San Francisco for a new start, she meets her new neighbor when he sends her a note. When more notes follow she is determined to find out more about the rude man in apartment five. What she doesn’t realize is that he is a man from her past, Jagger.
The chemistry between Magnolia and Jagger is off the charts and it was funny to listen as these two became reacquainted. This story is full of romance, passion and humour, the characters easy to relate to and made for an enjoyable listen.

4.5 Stars for To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five (The Inappropriate Bachelors #1)
If you are looking for a fun, entertaining book to listen to, I highly recommend this book. The narrator does a great job bringing the characters and the story to life.
Magnolia Allen has moved to San Francisco to start over, she has a new job, a new apartment and a very interesting new neighbor. As soon as she moves in a note appears from the man in apartment 5 and what follows is a series of notes, when Magnolia decides to find out more about her rude neighbor she finds out he is none other than Jagger Scott a man from her past…..
The chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty as this couple get to know each other all over again, I really enjoyed this story, it has the perfect mix of love, passion and humour and Laurie West did a wonderful job with the banter, the chemistry and the story. Looking forward to more from The Inappropriate Bachelors.
I received this book as an advanced copy from the author for an honest review.
This book is a second change romance with many twists and turns. Great characters, comical plot and amusing banter will keep you reading for more. Couldn’t put the book down. The book begins with a post-it war between the woman in apartment 4 and the new guy in apartment 5. When the two neighbors come face to face they realize who the other is and that the past can’t be left behind us. They must learn to put the past to rest and learn who the other is now. When starting a new job at a new tech start-up, Magnolia meets a group of entertaining women who quickly become her fast friends and you have a great romantic comedy. Looking forward to reading the rest of the girl stories.
Magnolia Allen has moved across country to start a new life in San Francisco. A new promising job has presented itself. But so does a new neighbor in her apartment building. Magnolia comes home to find a note from the new neighbor which sets of a series of notes between them. Magnolia learns the “rude guy in apartment 5” is someone from her past, none other then Jaggar Scott. Emotions and sparks start to fly. As a long ago incident comes to light.
Lauiie West did an amazing job with narrating and really nailed the emotions of the characters.
I felt the storyline dragged out a bit but it really did all come together in the end and the last chapter was by far the best and so worth the wait!
Another note.
The neighbor next door is somebody Magnolia knows, in fact she’s known him for a long time. Ten years separate the last time they saw each other when things fell apart. Jagger’s had time to turn things around for the woman he loves and prove he’s worthy. He can only hope it’s enough. Laugh out loud and a little angst for a couple you can’t help but root for.
If you are after a book to listen to on audio
than I would highly recommend this book.
The narrator is great at bringing the characters alive.
This is a fun book with a few twists and turns that had
me guessing what is going to happen next.
The plot is strong and well developed and the characters
definitely have chemistry between them.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
