An enjoyable read. It was one of my very first Kindle purchases.
A fae, sprite, unconventional (don’t we love them), regency woman takes on villains to prove the innocence of the noble man she comes to love. Helena keeps Lucas unbalanced with her witty repartee as he seduces her with his masculine form and moves. This is a highly entertaining read!
First book of Adele’s I’ve read and I very much enjoyed it. Look forward to reading more of her work! Loved the two leads! They were quirky, witty, intelligent and their chemistry was through-the-roof! Gotta love a hot, steamy historical!
Excellent read
Exiled to Boston for four years Lucas faces the injustice of being accused of murder. Free-spirited Helena values truth over gossip and begins to learn Lucas’ true character. Trust turns into love.
I loved it!

Great reading. Kept my interest. Kept cheering for both of them.
Excellent blend of intrigue and relationship. A great reminder in this current world of fake news that the truth will set you free!
too predictable, not interesting
Easy romantic reading
Great !!!!
Really loved the characters, especially the heroine, Helena. Smarter than your average English miss with a lot of faith in her hero. A really nice read!
Good story and characters. However, basic loved story. The ending was surprising. Would recommend the book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the complicated characters and, particularly, the ironic ending.
