Great confident intellectual female lead. Love how strong and sharp the characters are. I would really enjoy watching it if it was a movie
I liked that the female lead was a strong and intelligent example of women. Cute love story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I enjoyed this book. It was entertaining with interesting characters. In the end, the two main characters found true love.
This is a top notch historical romance story, it takes you on a surprising journey of mystery with a most unlikely couple, that is a couple you root for and find delightful.
Lucas was brought back to England, from the States, where his father had banished him, deemed an embarrassment to the family, when a gentleman died after Lucas had punched in defense. However Helena had overheard a conversation at a Ball, that gave question as to Lucas had been falsely accused. Helena, not thinking it was right went to see Lucas and left him know what was heard. Thus, it begins the page turning story of mystery, intrigue and romance that unfolds as Lucas, Helena and Lucas’s brother, Anthony, work to prove Lucas’s innocence. Great read and excellent writing.
Witty! Laughed out loud many times!
Lucas must solve the mystery of who framed him for murder. He meets headstrong Helena and, even through his angst, he can see her worth. While they search for clues, their admiration for each other grows to become an all-encompassing bond that brings two families together and builds a strong foundation of love. If you like strong love stories with a dash of mystery, you will love this novel.
I loved this book. I have been reading a book a day and got into a funk until I read this book.
It was a great story. I am going to buy a few more from the author to see if the writing is consistent.
Loved this story. Little bit of intrigue. A bit of romance. Great characters and a bunch of surprises. Makes this story wonderful.
I loved it. It was well written and the best part was the lack of misunderstanding that usually occurs.
She believed in him. She was tested and instead of becoming jealous and unreasonable she gave him the benefit of the doubt. Very refreshing.
It was a simple case of loving based on what you feel and what the other persons actions make you believe instead of what society pushes you to believe.
Well done.
Looking forward to reading the next book!
I USUALLY DON’T LIKE STEAMY BOOKS BUT I SO LOVED THIS BOOK. THE GOOD LOOKIN GIRL DIDN’T GET THE MAN, THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME, LOVING & EXCITING. I DON’T EVEN SMOKE AND I COULD HAVE USED A CIG AFTER FINISHING THE BOOK, 🙂
I REALLY enjoyed this book! Didn’t want it to end..
I found ‘To Save a Sinner’ to be absolutely delightful. Everything about it – the romance, the passion and the quirky humor – was blended in such a way to make for easy going reading and a sound fuzzy feel good feeling.
