To Marco (No, I’m not going to add Polo),Last night was a mistake. A big mistake. Or should I say small? I don’t want to hurt your ego. I should have listened to your sister. You’re insufferable and rude and far too cocky.Don’t worry. I won’t be telling anyone what happened because as far as I’m concerned it never did. Please stop calling me. I do not need to come and collect my bra from you. Or … bra from you. Or the t-shirt you lent me to sleep in when I got cold. And no, that one act doesn’t make you a gentleman. Far from it.
Also, I do not need to have your smell near me to fall asleep. In fact, your shirt does the opposite. It gives me nightmares.
Millie
P.S. No, I do not want a repeat of last night at my office. I don’t care if that’s your fantasy or not. Stop texting me your fantasies, by the way.
P.P.S. The texts I sent you this morning were drunk texts. I was still hungover. Do not construe them as anything else.
P.P.P.S. Could you have given me any more love bites? There was no need to “mark your territory” because I am not yours!

Marco was the ultimate player and had no shame in his game. On a visit to his sister to check out her boyfriend, Marco meets Millie, his sister’s friend and coworker. She is a fiery redhead that gives as good as she gets. The attraction is instant and heat pours from this couple. But Marco’s reputation has his sister issuing a warning to stay away. Millie knows Marco is trouble but feels this draw to him. Their exchange is brief but deep. She’s wary of his past and his past is like a vice choking off the possibilities that lie in front of him.
The third book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series, To My First and Last One Night Stand is a best friend’s brother romance featuring Millie and bad boy player, Marco. This quick, well written, fun read is packed with attraction, undeniable chemistry, humor, unexpected twists and turns, witty banter, LOL moments, heartbreak, and plenty of hot scenes.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Wow Marco and Millie, together in the shower, the bar, and the sex club, had me cracking up!!! Their shower together in Millie’s apartment and her roommate Talia, walking in on them naked, hugging a wet and hot Marco, while Millie was still in the shower…priceless! A thong went missing and ended up in the hands of a blond guy that was flirting with Millie, to pleasure himself with. Courtesy of Marco!. The sex Club scene was priceless. With Marco and Millie, getting ready to get busy and was interrupted by one of Marco’s previous blond sex conquests. Millie, walked away to the bathroom. Marco went looking for her. He saw a man fingering a woman with a mask on similar to Millie’s. Let’s just say a fist fight broke out. Millie got her nipple pinched by a small penis man. And they ended up having hot steamy sex in da club!!!. This was a sweet read. A really good distraction from all the crazies. Thank you J.S. Cooper, for honoring me with a ARC, to read and review on my own. It was truly a pleasure and honor to be chosen to read this story. I highly recommend it
I really enjoyed this sweet romance. Marco is a quite the talker. I loved him. Millie was very witty and cute. I finished this story in no time just couldn’t put it down.
This is a fun series to read. Marco, the player, has met his match with Millie. Their chemistry is electrifying. Watching Marco grow from a player to a man in love, and accepting the fact that he was disrespectful to some women, was well written and believable. A good read. I received this as an ARC and voluntarily present my review.
Marco is an ego maniac that has women falling at his feet, or at least dropping to their knees. That is until he meets Millie a fiery redhead who takes no BS. They both have heat and passion but Millie isn’t falling for Marco’s lines. The steam between the h/h is off the charts and you feel it in every word. Like lots of men Marco let’s his ego get the best of him and he pisses Millie off. Millie just want love and respect like her other two co-workers have found, after Marco hurts her she is done with him. The adventure begins when Marco has to woo Millie and convince her that he is not the cad she thinks he is. You see Marco grow into the man he wants to be. You will fall in love w ith Marco and Millie along the way.
Just the right amount of humor and drama to the plot
that had me well and truly hooked right from the very
first page to the last.
The interaction and chemistry between the characters is
believable and they bring the story alive on the pages.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Great book
Loved Marco and Millie, especially the stealthy way the author made Marco realize the wrong of his ways. And then Millie and Marco realize the relationship they would be missing. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I received an ARC edition of this book from the author. In return, this is my honest opinion.
Wow! Millie and Marco are on fire. Millie is looking for love while Marco is looking for his next conquest. Yes Marco is a huge player and when he visits his sister, Jane, in SF he meets her friend/co-worker Millie and he wants her bad. Sparks are flying not only from their chemistry, but also from Millie’s anger and disgust over Marco’s actions and words. She could really fall for him if he’d just think with his brain for once. If Marco wants to actually have a chance with Millie he’s going to have to change his ways and fast. Time is ticking away and before he knows it it will be time to head home. Should Millie give Marco a chance or should she walk away leaving him to go home with his tail tucked between his legs? Hmmmm guess you’ll have to read it to find out all the juicy details.
Happy Reading!
I loved Millie and Marco’s book. The storyline was very fun and filled with sizzling heat, emotion and humor. I found Millie immensely likable. She had Marco’s number and made him work for it but he was really her kryptonite. Marco, I had more complicated feelings about. This man has charm and sex appeal for days but he’s also a huge jerk and trust me when I say, when he opens his mouth or you get inside his head, some of the shine rubs off. To call Marco a playboy is I feel a gross understatement. I personally felt that his attitude and actions often encroached into the sleazy zone. Fortunately for him, that charm I was talking about and his determined pursuit of Millie really saved his tushie again and again. If you enjoy reads where the chemistry is steamy, the banter clever, the antics sometimes are zany and the feels are bountiful, you need to check this book out. This is my independent, frank review.
5 Star review To My First and Last One Night Stand (The Inappropriate Bachelors #3) by J S Cooper
J.S. Cooper is a relatively new author to me and I have absolutely no idea why I have not come across her before. Although not a long book, it certainly was entertaining. The story is well written and I was invested from the first to the last chapter.
This is Marco and Millie’s story. Initially I was not too keen on Marco, he seemed too full of himself, a bit of a jerk, to be honest. I really liked Millie and it was interesting to read as Millie drew Marco out and showed him how to be a better person and to see the error of his ways.
This was a fun read that had me laughing and smiling throughout. The journey that Marco and Millie experience was bumpy but it came together in the end.
Millie is a young professional who has recently watched two friends find love which has her wondering if she will find the love she so desires. Marco is of Millie’s friend’s brother who has come to San Francisco to visit. A dinner out so Marco can meet all of his sister’s friends is the first time we see sparks fly between himself and Millie. The friendly flirting and witty banter give you a glimpse at how sinfully sexy this couple will be. Marco is a womanizer and only wants into Millie’s pants until he realizes that he wants more from this one-night stand. Millie is devastated when Marco begins to show his true self after they have spent the night together. Will they each realize what they have in the other before it is too late?
To My First And Last One Night Stand was a fun, sexy read. Be sure to read the other books in the Inappropriate Bachelors series as well. Best to read the books in order.
Oh my Goodness I Loved this story.
It was just the thing I needed to put a smile on my face.
J.S Cooper created a character that I loved to hate with Marco, he is the ultimate cocky player,I was rolling my eyes at some of the things he said. But trust me you will learn to love him.
He truly does meet his match with Millie, she takes none of his crap and I loved the playfulness and banter between them and of course the chemistry.
Because of J.S Coopers excellent and realistic writing the story just flowed beautifully with plenty of steam, fun, hilarity and shenanigans it kept me entertained throughout .It was so hard to put down, this is a fantastic, glorious read and I highly recommend it.
Six foot three male of lean muscle. Throw in mischievous hazel eyes with a cocky attitude and our heroine, Millie, can’t help herself from sampling the nasty, sexiness of Marco Garcia. And he IS nasty. Iowa bred girl, though “not a farm girl,” came to San Francisco looking for adventure. Despite repeated warnings from Jane, her co-worker and Marco’s sister, to stay away from him, she doesn’t. Friends at happy hour declared her sexual drought needed attention and cue in Marco. When their eyes meet for the first time, there’s an instantaneous connection. Within minutes, Marco’s audacious and tenacious pursuit of Millie, are bold, charming and nasty. Like I said, Millie can’t help herself. Snappy dialogue between them at the dinner table makes you wonder how in the world these two will get their HEA. A shower encounter puts a screeching halt to Millie’s adventure. He can’t help it, he loves sex. Sex club escapades and random sexual hook-ups is Marco’s M.O. J.S Cooper takes us on a quick journey through their growing relationship fraught with shocking thoughts and risqué musings. Somehow miraculously they arrive at their HEA. Deviant, cocky, and vulnerable, Marco Garcia, makes one of the most “inappropriate” book boyfriends experienced. Do we or Millie stand a chance? This is the 3rd installment of the Inappropriate Bachelor series. Love it, love it, love it!
Janes brother is known as a major player. When he comes to visit Jane wants her friends not to get involved with her brother Marco. Unfortunately the moment Marco meets her friends he can’t take his eyes off Millie! The sparks fly between them!! Will Millie be the end for this player or will he break her heart?
You’ll love Marco and Millie’s story in the third book of the Inappropriate Bachelors Series. They are amazing together and their chemistry is off the charts. He’s Jane’s brother from out of town and she and Tate were featured in a previous book. He’s a major player who only has one night stands and he thinks he’s not capable of love. He was arrogant, obnoxious and had a dirty mouth. But did I mention that he was drop dead gorgeous and really was a nice guy underneath. Something clicked the minute they met and maybe a little insta-love. It was fun watching their relationship develop. A cute romance that was fun to read. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
ONE FREAKING FABULOUS DELIGHT!!!
Dazzling! Cooper brought it with this artfully composed piece of delight riding one thrilling storyline and enticing plot, ratcheting up the exuberance and intensity wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Coiled, knotted and tightly woven, displaying the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it’s simplicity and awe-inspiring in it’s depth. Lightening the load and dispensing the limits, towing the line and kicking this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a frenzy with a eye-opening culmination. Crazy mishaps and surprising happenstance blasts those churning emotions into play front and center, putting our characters through their paces, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat. The characters and their on point personalities are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that blend and flow. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job Cooper, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Marco Is The Hopeless And Clueless Player You Will Love To Hate! Marco And Millie Discover Love Their Own Way In This Unconventional Love Story. Marco’s Visit Can Only Lead To A One Night Stand, So Millie Must Decide If A Broken Heart Is Worth The Risk.
This is the third book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series, which so far revolves around a group of five women who are hired at a new tech start-up in San Francisco and become fast friends. Magnolia, Jane, Millie, Olivia, and Birdie support one another in their water cooler conversations and often enjoy going out together after work. Note that soon there will be eight women, as owner Tate Howard’s three sisters are moving from South Carolina to San Francisco and will be interning at the 800 Club – and apparently there will be a ninth woman as well. The first book, To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five, is Magnolia’s story about her rude new neighbor, Jagger, who turns out to be the boy she knew from childhood. The second book is about Jane. To My Arrogant Boss is her story about her complicated relationship with her socially awkward and incredibly obnoxious boss Tate. This book is about Jane’s brother from L.A., Marco. This is his and Millie’s unconventional story.
Millie, twenty-six, never felt like she belonged in Iowa. She wants to experience life to the fullest and try new things. She loves her family but she dreams of visiting cities around the world, so moving to a big city seems like a logical first step. She has been working at the 800 Club in San Francisco since it opened about six months ago, but hasn’t yet had much time to explore the city. She has been busy settling into her job and enjoying her new friendships. She hasn’t slept with a man in over a year, and watching first Magnolia, then Jane, fall in love has her thinking about finding love herself.
Marco Garcia, thirty, regrets losing his career in Major League baseball. Baseball had been an important part of his life since his father signed him up for little league in Beverly Hills. He loves the game and had good friendships with his teammates – and a lot of very good times – but he doesn’t miss the pressure. He had little choice in the matter, however, due to his injuries. He left Miami and returned to his hometown of L.A., where his hard-working conservative parents owned a Mexican restaurant. Thankfully he hadn’t let his success go to his head. He had stayed true to his upbringing, saving his money while he had the big paychecks rather than blowing it all. He has transitioned into coaching high school baseball, but is about to begin coaching at USC. He still hangs out with childhood friends, and they enjoy wild times together. Marco has never been in love, and with women throwing themselves at him he hasn’t ever felt compelled to settle down.
When Jane learns that her brother Marco has decided to visit her, she warns him to stay away from her friends. She knows how Marco is – he feels entitled to any woman he wants, and he is so confident and cocky that he hasn’t ever been turned down. Jane has lost friends due to Marco’s shenanigans, and she doesn’t want a repeat during his visit. She also warns her friends off Marco, explaining he isn’t capable of more than a one night stand.
When Marco and Millie meet, they feel an instant and undeniable chemistry. Marco thinks nothing of acting on his instincts despite Jane’s warning. He wants Millie, and hookups are routine for him. Millie knows that a relationship with Marco is impossible. She has never had a hookup – but she fears walking away will leave her with regrets. Their story is unconventional. Marco is the worst of players. He is obnoxious, self-centered, and insensitive. He is the hopeless and clueless player you will love to hate. Millie is vivacious and often comes across as immature. She wants to be adventurous, but lacks much real-life adventure. Her attraction to Marco forces her to dig deep because giving into his charms can only lead to heartbreak if she doesn’t guard herself. Things begin to shift when they explore San Francisco together. Marco finds himself out of his element, and little by little he begins to open up to Millie, but change doesn’t come easily. Their relationship is unconventional because Marco is only in town for a few days, and Marco doesn’t do relationships. In fact, he does so many things wrong that it is a miracle that Millie ever speaks to him again. With patience, however, Marco and Millie discover love their own way. They find a beautiful HEA! As the story ends, there is the hint of an upcoming story between Olivia and her brother’s best friend.
In Marco and Millie’s one night stand story, a hopeless player finds love with his sister’s friend. Marco’s visit can only lead to a one night stand, so Millie must decide if a broken heart is worth the risk. The story is nicely written. The plot is fairly simple but has unexpected twists and turns. The characters are nicely developed, especially Marco’s character. His redemption and transformation are remarkable feats. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Marco and Millie. I rate this book four stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great book from this author for this series. It easy to read and steamy with a happily ever after as always.
