To Marco (No, I’m not going to add Polo),Last night was a mistake. A big mistake. Or should I say small? I don’t want to hurt your ego. I should have listened to your sister. You’re insufferable and rude and far too cocky.Don’t worry. I won’t be telling anyone what happened because as far as I’m concerned it never did. Please stop calling me. I do not need to come and collect my bra from you. Or … bra from you. Or the t-shirt you lent me to sleep in when I got cold. And no, that one act doesn’t make you a gentleman. Far from it.
Also, I do not need to have your smell near me to fall asleep. In fact, your shirt does the opposite. It gives me nightmares.
Millie
P.S. No, I do not want a repeat of last night at my office. I don’t care if that’s your fantasy or not. Stop texting me your fantasies, by the way.
P.P.S. The texts I sent you this morning were drunk texts. I was still hungover. Do not construe them as anything else.
P.P.P.S. Could you have given me any more love bites? There was no need to “mark your territory” because I am not yours!

Millie and Marco that just sounds like an epic duo. This whirlwind of a romance is full of sass, snark, and sexiness! Marco is the bad boy our wild side can’t help but love just a little. Millie is a fiery redhead who has just the right amount of sexiness mixed with innocence. These two very strong willed, independent people have met each other’s match. They will have to figure out how to handle having someone around who can toe to toe with them. It’s going to be a bumpy ride with twists so buckle up because it’s a fabulous read. You are bound to fall in love with these two!
Marco is a former pro baseball player who loves one night stands, hooking up with girls that doesn’t involve kissing or feelings, and considers himself a ladies man. He is going to visit his sister and meet her boyfriend and friends. His sister warns him not to mess around with her friends but when they go to a bar he immediately is attracted to her friend Millie. Millie is flirtatious, very outspoken and is also attracted to Marco even though her friend told her that Marco was a player. They are attracted to each other but is it just for a one night stand? Will their sexual attraction lead to anything more?
I loved this story, especially the bantering between Millie and Marco. They were both strong characters who knew what they wanted and weren’t afraid to go for it. Everything happened very quickly but it felt right. I loved reading about these friends/coworkers and I can’t wait to read more about the other friends.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this book! Marco is a definite player and Millie is the sweetheart! Marco’s sister is Millie’s best friend who has warned all her friends to stay away from her player brother. But best laid plans seem to fail. It is a fun hot breath of fresh air. A great escape I could not put down!
Marco and Millie’s story was great! It is definitely a must read. J S Cooper out did herself with this one!
This series is the best!! Millie and Marco’s story was interesting and I couldn’t wait to turn the page for more.
Millie ( Jane’s friend) the fiery red head who was sweet, outgoing but didn’t take any crap.
Marco ( Jane’s brother) sexiness on wheels but he was arrogant, conceited, his ego couldn’t fit in the same room with you…. He was a jerk. But there was more to him and apparently he’d met his match in Millie.
I loved the humor, the banter, the steaminess and their chemistry. It pulled you in and made you want more.
This was such a fun read, I enjoyed it so very much! This series is addicting.
Millie is best friends with Jane. Janes brother Marco is coming to town and Millie has been warned to stay away from him because he is the biggest player. But Millie can’t stay away from him even though she knows she can’t have him. But after a couple of fights and a couple of fantastic days together Millie thinks that maybe the is hope. Is Marco finally ready to settling down and is there hope for the two of them ? I loved this one. It was sweet and romantic but also funny. I fell in love with the characters and I had a fantastic time while reading it. I loved this book
Great character, great storyline and a fantastic read
Marco and Millie are two of my favorite characters! I love their Marco’s wittiness and Millie’s sass and their love of fun and adventure! There self assurance was refreshing and I would take Marco as a one night stand any day of the week. Loved it!!
My first and last one night stand
I loved this book we meet Marco (jane’s brother) & Millie (jane’s friend) we first meet Marco while he’s in LA at a bar looking for some action before he’s due in SF to meet jane’s new boyfriend. Jane warmed all her friends to stay away from Marco as he is a player they all meet to have dinner and Millie is straight away attracted to Marco and vice versa I really enjoyed this book Marco was very much a player and very cocky not realising that some of his behaviour was not okay until this was pointed out to him after Millie refused to see him Millie was more than a match for Marco with her sass and take no BS attitude I enjoyed that there was very little drama between the characters and what was resolved quickly Marco really redeemed himself when he realised the feeling he had were love. The supporting cast was funny and witty I can’t wait to read more I definitely recommend this book.
I received an advanced free copy and am voluntarily reviewing.
Wow Millie was a Hot headed firey red head that wanted to party and have fun.but never had a one night stand
Marco was Janes brother from LA that was a player.
Jane warned Marco to no try and hook up with her friends/work mates.
As soon as Marco laid eyes on Millie he couldnt help him self.
From all the flirting and touching under the table at dinner, to grabbing Millie out of the bar and kissing her.
Millie didnt stand a chace on staying away from Marco. His charm and persistance had her weak at the knees.
To find out how there steamy night went and the rest of the book went you MUST READ!!!!
Inappropriate bachelors they are! Marco is the book boyfriend you love to hate. He is everything that no girl ever wants to have as a boyfriend, but you always wonder how girls find guys like him. Hearing heroic tales of his self centered life is enough to make your stomach turn but you find yourself cheering him on as he shares more of himself and less of himself at the same time (if you get my drift!) and walks a dangerous line. Millie on the other hand knows she is getting herself in further than she can handle, but she loves handling things that are a challenge. Her friendships are fierce, her fiery red curls are scorching and her heart is on fire.
Super Duper Cute & Sexy!!
This is the story of Iowa born Millie, not “Idaho” & Marco, full fledged man ho, and not hoe as the garden tool…
Since I haven’t read the first two books in the series yet, this picks up at the end of Book 2, with Jane’s drop dead gorgeous brother Marco!! The entire gang is there to meet him for the first time and once he sets his eyes on Millie, he has met his match.
I really enjoyed the banter between them which had me laughing at times, as Marco was starting to understand the value of what love is, but also I wanted to strangle him at times, for completely messing up with Millie.
Millie is strong, independent, and sexy and she knows it. What do you get when you put to sexy people together that are in denial about what they may or may not heave and what they truly feel….An great story that had me smiling at the end, but sad that I completely the book and the end of their journey!!
Also, I wish my brother had the super alpha protectiveness as Marco had for his sister Jane.. the flip side to this was in deed, Tate wasn’t taking it!!!
Can’t wait to read Olivia’s story next!!!
This was a great book. I loved the chemistry between Marco and Millie. I also enjoyed Millie’s no nonsense personality. I would definitely recommend this book!!
This is a fast paced book with a Big playboy taking a major fall.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
I have to admit I didn’t like Marco for the first half of the book, but when he turned it around he did it with flare. He was so cocky and arrogant, I loved it when Millie didn’t just fall in line like he expected.
Millie isn’t a prude but she not a one night stand kind of girl either, but Marco really puts her to the test. One bad move to many on his part has proven to her that he’s more then she wants to handle, right?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the 3rd book in this series and is Marco and Millie’s story. Marco is a cocky womanizer who is a serial love them & leave them type of guy, as well as an overprotective big brother to his baby sister Jane, who he is going to see. Millie is a feisty and independent female who is watching all her friends meet their significant others. Jane arranges for Marco to meet her friends and straight away Marco is after Millie, and he has certainly met his match with her as she does not let him get away with any of his antics. The only downside in my opinion only, is that I felt Marco was too much over the top, which did not make him very appealing to me. This is a well written story and I look forward to reading more from this author.
This book was hot. While Marco was a cocky and very arrogant man he did grow on me. Millie did a good job fighting her desires but eventually gave in. Who can resist a hot sexy man right. The chemistry was hot and i just couldn’t put it down before it was done
In this third book of the series, we meet Marco (Jane from book two, her brother). Marco is a player to put it nicely. Millie, one of women we have met in the previous two books is the sweet, fun-loving red head who throws Marco for a loop from their first meet. The chemistry between these two was there from the very beginning.
I will be honest, Marco was hard to stomach at times and I wanted to shake my head at him because of his choices but I knew that Marco was more than what he was portraying. Millie’s character was exactly what his character needed.
Overall, the book is a great addition to the series and I look forward to more in the series.
“To My First and Last One Night Stand” (The Inappropriate Bachelors Book 3) by J. S. Cooper is a great read. I enjoyed Millie and Marco’s story. This is a great addition to this series. This story is packed with passion, humor, close friends, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. Recommend to all fans of romance and series.
This author is relatively new to me and if I’m honest with each book of hers I pick up I think why haven’t I read more of her works, well that’s about to change because after reading To my first and last one night stand i realise I need to look at her other books, if this story is anything to go by I will love playing catch up and I’m looking forward to reading future releases.
Marco and Millie’s story is a fun, hot entertaining read that left me smiling like a Cheshire Cat, Marco is a man who knows what he wants because he normally gets it but that was before Millie…..
Millie was the girl we would all love to be or have as a best friend, she saw beyond the jumped up man she saw what was behind the mask Marco wears so well and as I watched her show him the error of his ways I feel hook line and sinker for this couple. I loved everything a lot this book, it has all the feels you want in a great read, I laughed, I smiled and I swooned a lot, so I urge you all to one click this gem of a read. Great job Ms Cooper.
3.5 very steamy stars
So, full disclosure: this was much, MUCH steamier than my usual read, so I had a hard time rating it objectively. My stars are geared towards those readers who enjoy a lot of…descriptive love scenes, so if that’s not you, this is probably not your cup of tea.
Okay, so with that all out of the way…
This was a fun book, even for a prudish reader like myself. I’m not a fan of bad boys in real life, but they sure make for interesting reading (and bad boys don’t get any badder than Marco!) He’s the kind of guy you love to hate, and I cheered every time Millie put him in his place. My favorite scenes were those where she was mad at him, just because they made me giggle. My biggest issue with this book was some really unnatural dialogue (my pet peeve, unfortunately) but seeing the cocky AF player settle down (with just as much cockiness, but still) was worth it.
I honestly feel that the biggest appeal of this book is the part I struggle with the most (bit of a prude, remember?) and can tell that — if that’s your jam– this will be a highly entertaining escapist read. I read it while waiting in a hospital parking lot and, let me tell you, it certainly made time fly.
Even if I was blushing and looking around guiltily through most of it
