To Marco (No, I’m not going to add Polo),Last night was a mistake. A big mistake. Or should I say small? I don’t want to hurt your ego. I should have listened to your sister. You’re insufferable and rude and far too cocky.Don’t worry. I won’t be telling anyone what happened because as far as I’m concerned it never did. Please stop calling me. I do not need to come and collect my bra from you. Or … bra from you. Or the t-shirt you lent me to sleep in when I got cold. And no, that one act doesn’t make you a gentleman. Far from it.
Also, I do not need to have your smell near me to fall asleep. In fact, your shirt does the opposite. It gives me nightmares.
Millie
P.S. No, I do not want a repeat of last night at my office. I don’t care if that’s your fantasy or not. Stop texting me your fantasies, by the way.
P.P.S. The texts I sent you this morning were drunk texts. I was still hungover. Do not construe them as anything else.
P.P.P.S. Could you have given me any more love bites? There was no need to “mark your territory” because I am not yours!

A fantastic story that was full of humorous scenes and witty dialogue. The chemistry between the two main characters was palpable from the moment they met. He was something else – so sure of himself and yet so clueless and I have to say he was one if the reasons I enjoyed this story. I loved her attitude when dealing with him. I believed in this couple because I loved their interactions. Great storytelling.
Marco is the hot, playboy player and Millie is sexy, smart witted, strong female.
Cute love story!!! I thought the writing was great & held my attention to the very end. I especially enjoy reading a book where the author mentions my home state: IOWA!!! Millie is from Iowa but wanted to explore the world more. Loved that the author mentions several Iowa towns & things in this book!! Thanks for another great book!
I received an ARC for my honest review. But this did not affect my review in anyway. I ENJOY reading J.S. Coopers books!!!
I always love a story where a guy is all macho and so against relationships but falls hard and fast. This was so Marco and Millie. He never had a woman more than once but he is going to break all the rules with Millie. There was something about Marco that Millie couldn’t resist even after her friend Jane, who happened to be Marcos sister warned her to stay away. Marco warned Millie that he was a sinner not a saint, but the attraction was too great. She realized there was more to Marco than he showed the world. There’s just something about a bad boy.
Book 3 in The Inappropriate Bachelors series and it was a great addition. I have read several books from this author and I am in love with her work. The characters and the storylines she creates pulls you in with each page. This story was no exception. Loved Millie and Marco. They are both warned by Jane (her co-woker and his sister) to stay away from each other because he is a known heartbreaker and she doesn’t want to lose a friend. That doesn’t last long because the chemistry between them was so good and so hot. It was hard for them to stay away from each other. It was like no matter what he said or did, there was this intense pull that wouldn’t let go. She challenged him and made him see that being in a relationship wasn’t bad. Loved watching them navigate to their HEA.
I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Marco is Jane’s playboy brother and he has come to visit. He also wants to checkout the man she is involved with. She warns him away from her friends while they are waiting for them to arrive at the restuarant. However nothing could’ve prepared Marco for Millie and he instantly puts his foot in his mouth. Millie tries to stay away from Marco but he follows her around an stops her from talking to other men. When she does give in to him its not long before his true nature presents itself again. Will Marco be able to win Millie’s heart before its too later for him to fix things?
This is an amazing story once I started it I could put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any reader.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
I wrote and rewrote this review at least 5 times because I had such a hard time trying to determine whether or not I actually liked this story. I did… but there were a few things that REALLY bothered me about it.
First off, Marco was just disgusting. I normally have no problem with manwhores, but he was just gross. Even when he messed up and acknowledged it, he continued to make the same mistakes over and over.
Secondly, because Marco was so disgusting I just couldn’t respect Millie and how she kept going back for more. I just don’t understand how women can give in when men speak to them so disrespectfully. I don’t care how sexy he is, a man talks to you like you’re nothing but a piece of meat… move on.
But in the end the story was ok… I don’t regret reading it. I just wish the characters were a little more likeable and their reactions to situations were more realistic. But I guess that’s why it is fiction.
*I was provided an ARC from the author. All opinions in the review are my own.
I enjoyed Millie and Marcos story and loved there back and forth banter. Millie’s first meeting with Marco didn’t go great when she heard a comment he made to his sister Jane but she still couldn’t help gravitating to him cause she sees more then the arrogant player that she’s heard endless stories about. Marco had a connection to Millie that he couldn’t explain but thought it would be something he could get out of his system and it was amusing to see how there antics went from subtle to beyond in your face
I loved this book from the second I started it. When I read JS Cooper books, I can always “feel” what the heroines are feeling/thinking. Millie is a strong, sassy woman who won’t put up with anything. Marco, Jane’s brother, comes to visit and winds up wanting Millie from the moment he sees her. Millie has some issues with Marco, particularly his past love life leading up to her. I loved the interactions between them and I loved that Millie stood up for herself in what she felt she deserved. Read this in one sitting! I was NOT left feeling like something was missing. Now I can’t wait for Olivia’s book!!!
You will follow the journey of Marco and Millie. Millie does not do one night stands. Marco is the guy with an attitude that does one night stands and doesn’t look back. He is also the brother of Millie’s friend Jane. What happens when the two of them meet? Their story takes you on journey of humor and steam with an story line that kept my interest though out the book. I love how J.S Cooper tells a story, she describes the scene to where you can actually visualize it. This is the 3rd book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series
I received an ARC for my honest review. This book is just as amazing as all the others in the series. This book focuses on Millie and Marco (Janes brother). Millie is so sweet and just wants a real relationship and what she gets instead is Marco. Marco is a self identified playboy who is snarky and funny. I loved the progression and how each helped each other grow. I loved seeing Marco learning why Marco is the way he is. This is also the sexiest book in the series so far. This book is well written and I finished it in one sitting. I recommend this book if you like humor and a sweet and sexy relationship.
Omg this is a great love story that will keep you laughing. The back and forth between Millie and Marco is to funny. This is a pager turner, keeps you reading when you know you should be doing work. Funny, hot, steamy, in all round book. Must read!!!
This book is amazing from beginning to end. The banter between Marco and Millie is fun and entertaining. He’s the brother of Millies friend and she has warned him to keep his womanizing ways away from her. The group meets for dinner and that’s where the sparks fly. If you love witty banter, sexy flirting and a story that keeps you reading then this book is for you. I highly recommend this wonderful book.
I really enjoyed the 3rd book in J S Cooper’s Inappropriate Bachelors Series.
It was a fun, easy, steamy, read, with Marco and Millie having a great amount of sass and banter.
Quick, easy, and fun.
I am a huge fan of books that have self proclaimed forever bachelors falling for women that make them say adios to their player ways and let me tell you that J.S. Cooper delivers just that! Additionally, J.S. Cooper is spot on when it comes to Inappropriate Bachelors. Marco’s inappropriateness had my jaw dropping throughout this book. Definitely a book worth reading!
To be honest I wasn’t sure I was going to like the character Marco. He is a true player that rubs you the wrong way. I was pleasantly surprised that I ended up loving him by the end of the book. He love for Millie completely redeems him. I love this series and can’t wait for the next one to come out!
If you are looking for the ultimate inappropriate, cocky, bad boy then Marco is your guy! It did take me a little bit to warm up to him but he definitely grew on me! He’s rotten, he’s fun, and he knows what he wants. I adored Millie. She’s so sweet yet has a great backbone. I loved how their story progressed, the growth of Marco and the heat they share. A great addition to your TBR.
I received an advanced copy of this book for review and my opinions are my own and have not been influenced.
I struggled to get in to the first few chapters of the book but that’s normal for me. They did however explain all the characters to be found in the story. Marco and Millie are the two main characters. Marco is a Baseball coach in LA and Is Millies friend Janes brother. He is a total player and on Janes advice he is not to get involved with any of her friends when he comes to San Francisco for a few days to visit Jane. Jane, her boyfriend and other friends go on a night out with Marco and he instantly becomes attracted to Millie and she flirts back with him. The story is an easy read with some fun banter and sexy scenes. Personally I liked the texts between Marco and Millie as it showed their humour and vulnerability too. Although it has a HEA, the storyline wasn’t totally predictable, it was a good light hearted easy read, would recommend
Millie and Marcos story is the perfect combination of sass and charm.
Marco has never met a woman who told him no. Millie is a strong independent woman who will set him straight. From the moment you meet Marco he’s going to push all your buttons. He’s that cocky guy who gets what he wants every time, until Millie.
Don’t miss out on their beautiful love story. It was incredibly captivating and worth the loss of sleep!
Love-hate
This was an interesting read in that Marco (the protagonist) is a real player only having one-night stands. This is somewhat due to the fact that he doesn’t think he’s capable of love (although he loves his sister Jane). When he visits her he meets Millie, who is also a strong person knowing what she wants. Their route to romance and love is quite something and makes for a delightful reading experience.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was a very well written book. I love this series so much so far. This book did not disappoint. The chemistry between Marco and Millie was off the charts. There was enough humor and steam throughout the whole book. It is a definite must read.
