From New York Times Bestselling Author J. S. Cooper comes another sexy laugh out loud funny standalone romance…To Mr. Tate Howard,
You are quite possibly the most infuriating, annoying and grumpy man I’ve ever met in my life. I know you think that you’re God’s gift to women, but I have a secret to let you in on: you’re not. You’re God’s gift to yourself. Get over your wanna-be cool surfer self … wanna-be cool surfer self and grow up. I thought it was time that someone addressed your big head and told you straight to your face that you’re not all that. Just because you have an Ivy league education doesn’t mean you’re the smartest man in the world. In fact, I’m not even sure if you would have gotten in if you didn’t have rich parents. Yes, I went there. Every woman doesn’t want to sleep with you and I’m sure you’re not even good in bed. And I’m someone that would know.
From,
Your Secret Not Admirer
The second book in the Inappropriate bachelors series.

Oh Mr. Tate!
From the moment I met Tate in “To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five” I could not wait for him to get his own book!! I knew that Tate and Jane’s chemistry was going to be explosive and oh did J.S. Cooper deliver!! I really love all of the inappropriate innuendos and the bantering that goes on between these two; from that alone you know that the fire between these two will ignite anyone’s fire. As much as I loved Jagger and Magnolia…I love Jane and Tate way more!! Definite page turner; so don’t dive into this unless you’re ready to not put it down!!
This is a cute, quirky and witty read. Tate is a SOUTHERN man that has no boundaries, Jane works for tate and wont take any of his sass. What will come next? A fun read.
This book has a great plot that’s funny and sexy.
The chemistry between the characters is real interesting
and entertaining.
I’m always worried with book 2 I feel like its a make or break for a series. This was definitely a hit. Easy to ready laugh out loud funny. I’m not sure it could have been any better
It started with a anonymous letter or note to her boss Tate. Jane has a love hate relationship with her boss who she finds arrogant, rude and way to full of himself. I liked the character development of the book. I received an Arc copy of the book and am volunteering to leave a review.
Tate and Jane have quite the banter between them. He’s all about the sexy talk and she’s got the sassy down pat! The chemistry between them is off the charts. I love how there were some serious sides to both of them. This was a fun and steamy story to read!
I have to say I hate a love/hate relationship with Tate for a large part of the book lol He’s sexy and infuriating! I found myself at a tug of war, part of me wanting to see Jane teach his cockey attitude a lesson, then almost immediately wanting her to just give in to the palpable chemistry. All in all a great read. I found it to be one of those quick easy reads that gives you everything you need. And in the end Tate and I definitely made amends lol he most definitely won me over.
JS Cooper has the niche cornered for feisty, witty female characters…
Jane is so excited to start a new job that she forgets to read the fine print aka the start date, and arrives a day early! Tate, a typical playboy assumes the gorgeous female at his new building is a surprise gift from a friend. So when Jane and Take meet under the guise of mistaken identity, and Tate takes things a step to far. How quickly they both tumble down to earth after the dust settles and the clouds clear, and Jane realizes Tate is her new boss, and visa versa that Jane is Tates new employee for his start up company. Can they keep their new found hatred and lust in check long enough to make it through a work day.
“To my Arrogant Boss” will have you cracking up from cover to cover..
This is the second book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series. The series revolves around five women who are hired at a new app tech start-up in San Francisco and become fast friends. Tate makes you want to smack him and laugh at his arrogance. Jane suggests they change the name to one of the silent partners to 800 Club. Even though Tate was not happy who made the name change suggestion he went with it. It all started with a misunderstanding with Jane and Tate when she shows up a day earlier then she was suppose due to not reading the email correctly on the start date of her new job.
I’ve read a lot of books written by J.S. Cooper; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Steamy Rom-Com between virgin and her player boss
Tate Howard, 30yo, southern, “Greek-God” looks but KNOWS it! Constantly touting his prowess with the ladies until one day he gets an anonymous note from his “Secret Not Admirer.” These notes are hilarious and sexually flirty. He’s intrigued…Who could it be? Someone from his new office at the “800 Club” or from his gym? At the same time, he’s also giving one of his employees a hard time…every day. Jane Garcia is 24yo, very pretty and doesn’t take any of Tate’s sass. Tate loves her forwardness and her body. He’s commitment-phobic so how will that play out? Will he ever figure out who is sending him the notes?
This is a cute, steamy straight-forward romantic comedy between two very strong personalities. I love how they both become stronger with each other. There are some really HOT scenes like the walk to the gym and in the steam room! Great ending. Looking forward to Marco and Millie’s story.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended for Rom-Com lovers. I give it 4.5 sassy, steamy stars.
This book was really funny and who hasn’t had a boss like Tate but Jane is a different kind of woman she doesn’t take the bosses attitude but she works very hard. Jane and Tate have a history that started on her first day which was priceless but as the book progressed you saw a different side of Tate which helped make Jane see him in a new light. Very funny story and I love what a strong character Jane is.
A great read. It’s humorous but yet sexy. I loved the connection and banter between the characters. The sizzling and steamy chemistry between them completes what you’re looking for in a story. I loved the characters. An entertaining story that will help you escape for awhile.
This is book two in The Inappropriate Bachelor series. This is Tate and Jane’s story. These two characters butt heads more then they get along but as the story hilariously unfolds things begin to change. It all starts with a note in Tate’s gym bag. He is determined to figure out the Secret Not Admirer. Jane feels good, she expressed her thoughts and feelings and now she can move on. What an amazingly funny and sweet story as Tate and Jane’s relationship begins to change as they get to know one another more. Fantastic read, I cannot wait to read more in this series. Enjoy!
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author as an Advanced Readers Copy.
This book is not only hysterical, but fun and witty…exactly what you need in this seriously depressing times. You can’t help but adore Tate, the southern boy with a healthy dose of confidence and money. Under a lesser writer, he might have come across as stereotypically douchey. But Cooper writes him with more depth from the moment we meet him in book one. He’s hired all females at his start up and seems to respect them all for what they bring to the company. He also has a cheeky sense of self, making fun of the fact that he’s a total dude and calling HIMSELF a douche. And as the book progresses, you learn more about his background and the person he really is.
There are real laugh out loud moments, and the best parts of The book revolve around the women of the office. They are all varied personalities with equal love of all things gossip and fun. Jane is the core of the group. A feisty Mexican with a strong personality, she doesn’t take crap from anyone, including boss Tate.
I loved the part where Tate finds out who Jane is, and everyone’s cards are shown. They discovered so much about each other And realized that not only did they underestimate each other, but underestimated the chemistry between them. When Tate shows Jane who he really is, it’s undeniably sweet. And meeting his sister’s only cements how there is more to him than he lets on.
““And one day.” I said as I kissed the top of her head. “One day, I want to see you walking barefoot through the fields with our kids hanging onto the bottom of your skirt. I want to make flower crowns and place them on your head because you’re my Queen. You’ve taken the emptiness from my life, Jane. You’ve taken the weariness. One day, I want you to be my wife and the mother of my children. Not until you’re ready, of course, but I want you to know that now. We’re in this for life. I’ve been to hell and back so many times before in my life, but I’m not going back. I’m never going. There are a lot of things I don’t understand, but this is something I do understand. We’re for life. We’re the real deal. We’re soul mates.””
Who wouldn’t want a man to say such romantic things to you? Tate will melt even the hardest of hearts. It’s a delightful palette cleanser that will make you feel good about the world…at least until you turn the 6 o’clock news on.
This is an Emeines to lovers story. I truly enjoyed reading about Tate and Jane story. I thought they are enjoyable and delightful characters. Its wonderful written and a good storyline. Its a page turner and kept my interest.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
Sucked right in. The sexual tension is there from the get go. You want to just keep reading to see what happens. Jane Garcia is feisty but so so caring. She was just so honest and truthful. Tate Howard was confident and sure of himself. One can think they’re completely opposites, but they work so well together. Tate’s background story just gives us so much and you get to understand why he’s the man he is. It’s so beautiful.
Also so glad we get to hear about their first encounter mentioned in “to the rude guy in apt 5”. Just loved it. Better than I thought.
Tate and Jane got off on the wrong foot. She was one of the first hires for his new company. She shows up a day earlier than what she was supposed to due to misreading the instructions on the email. Tate thought she was a joke sent by Jagger. That didn’t help the situation at all.
Jane got it in her brain to start writing notes and leaving them in his gym bag. All was going ok, until the one night where she wrote two separate notes. One to get her feelings out on how he was treating her, the second one was similar to the ones before. Somehow, he got the wrong one. There goes the neighborhood. How is Jane supposed to face Tate when he reads the note and realizes that it is her all along?
The notes passed back and forth were fun. Jane is feisty and stands up for her self. Tate is the boss who needs to be knocked down a peg or two, but does evolve as a human. I started laughing at some of the notes and the reactions Tate and Jane had with them.
J.S. Cooper has given us another fun book. I am enjoying how people are getting to know each other through notes, since that is becoming such a lost form of communication. This a a great book to read when you need a laugh or two, plus a HEA.
I received an ARC for a fair and honest review.
Loved the banter between Jane and Tate in this story! Tate thinks he is God’s gift to women and Jane can’t seem to get him off her mind. They are always going back and forth at each other in the office, but then Jane decides to up the ante and leave him a note. This starts a back and forth jabs of a more sexual nature. You will not want to put this book down once you start. Great Read! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Tate started a company called Cool Credit and all his employees end up being women. The first employee to show up for work is Jane however she shows up a day early and this causes some problems. Sparks fly between Jane and Tate so much so that even the other employees notice when they starts showing up. Someone is leaving Tate messages and he is trying to figure out who their from while responding back to the writer. One of his employees takes her suggestion that the company be renamed to his silent partner which ends up with the company getting renamed the 800 Club doesn’t make Tate too happy either. Will Tate figure out who is sending him the letters? Will Tate and Jane finally give into temptation?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
