From New York Times Bestselling Author J. S. Cooper comes another sexy laugh out loud funny standalone romance…To Mr. Tate Howard,
You are quite possibly the most infuriating, annoying and grumpy man I’ve ever met in my life. I know you think that you’re God’s gift to women, but I have a secret to let you in on: you’re not. You’re God’s gift to yourself. Get over your wanna-be cool surfer self … wanna-be cool surfer self and grow up. I thought it was time that someone addressed your big head and told you straight to your face that you’re not all that. Just because you have an Ivy league education doesn’t mean you’re the smartest man in the world. In fact, I’m not even sure if you would have gotten in if you didn’t have rich parents. Yes, I went there. Every woman doesn’t want to sleep with you and I’m sure you’re not even good in bed. And I’m someone that would know.
From,
Your Secret Not Admirer
The second book in the Inappropriate bachelors series.
more
Last month I happen to come across the three books in the Inappropriate Bachelor Series on Booksprout and I was so excited that I binged all three back to back. Well, as much as one can binge read when also being a blogger LOL So it took about four weeks …
To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five: This story was actually quite cute but a while but then #twitchy. There are situations that are revealed from the past that have me all kinds of confused on how they weren’t a bigger issue than how they were written. Without giving away the plot of the story, their past is convoluted and our heroine just kinda shrugs it off way too quickly and there’s a forgive/forget that comes barreling at us from out of nowhere. While I’m not happy with how the story ended, getting there was mostly entertaining so 3 Stars overall.
To My Arrogant Boss: ahhhhh, so much more goodness than book 1 lol Although to be fair, I did like the first book but I love this one! I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between Tate and Jane. Their meet-cute was hilarious and it laid a foundation to fantastic shenanigans. Tate is over-the-top arrogant, and I loved it. It’s exactly what this story needed. Jane was his perfect match in every possible way! I loved the friendship between the women and how it’s the center of this series. This is beginning to be a series I won’t want to end; I can feel! 4.5 Stars overall!!
To My First And Last One Night Stand: aaaaaand we’re back to #twitchy LOL Here’s the thing, there is a fine line between arrogant and a$$hole. Our hero walked that line thru this entire book and sometimes fell flat on his face on the a$$hole side LOL I’m not saying I disliked this book because of it, but it certainly didn’t help in me liking it either. The story-line itself is entertaining and actually well written but it’s one of those book where you don’t know if you like it or not so you just keep reading. That happens more often than I care to admit LOL 3 Stars overall!
One last thing. I know it sounds/ reads like my overall enjoyment of this series was lacking, but it actually was not. The key word here is overall. Now that I got to read all three in a short period of time I feel comfortable saying that they should be read as a continual series, meaning they are really not standalones. This series revolves around a group of women who are good friends. Their stories are interconnected. Your best bet is to read them all or none. Just my opinion.

I love the classic enemies to lovers romances and the fact that it’s an office romance too; It checks all the boxes for me. This book is funny, witty, sexy, feisty, and full of pent up sexual tension. I’m not sure a book has had me laughing out loud as much as this one did. The outlandish comments that seem to just pop out of these characters’ mouths are both hilarious and jaw-dropping. This book will have you both laughing and blushing and sometimes at the same time! I highly recommend reading this week along with any of the others by J.S. Cooper; you will not be disappointed.
I listened to Tate and Jane’s story on Audible, and enjoyed every second of this book!
This is Book 2 in the Inappropriate Bachelors series.
Tate is Jane’s boss and he is handsome and according to him he is God’s gift to woman! Jane Garcia is beautiful and feisty. When they get together the chemistry sizzles! This is their story and I absolutely loved it and recommend reading the series in order, each story is standalone.
We finally get to hear about Jane’s first day of work with Tate, lol! We also meet his family, his sisters are lovely, but his parents are definitely on the top spectrum of wrong.
Story is witty, with wonderful characters and lots of steam. Love the office ladies friendship.
Enjoyed the introduction and development of the characters. Just enough sexiness to keep reader involved with story and had a good plot. Perfect weekend read
Loved this book!!
I usually love this author, but I just could not get into this book
The story line jumped around. Hard to follow and I read romance to escape not to get a political diatribe
I’m voluntarily leaving a review on this book which I received as an ARC from the Author.
Tate Howard is portrayed as a conceited & arrogant person with the looks of a “Greek-God” and he knows it. Jane Garcia is beautiful Latina with sass, wit and sarcasm. Jane meets Tate on her first day at a new job. Tate, Jane’s new boss mistakes her for being a stripper sent by a friend!! Tate loves her forwardness and her body. Cute book about two people with strong personalities. You will enjoy the zingers and sarcasm the characters threw at each other and the steamy scenes.
I really enjoyed the story between Tate and Jane. It’s not your typical love story, no annoying girl who kept whinging but one who was determined not to fall at her bosses feet but to make him work hard for her. The humour and also the pain held by Tate from his family made a great read. I read this book in a day, unable to put it down. Tate and Jane are some of my favourite characters.
I received this book for free from the author and my review is my own honest opinion
I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review though had to buy it on Audio as well, especially as I had done so for My First And Last One Night Stand book 3 prior to reading This one & Book 3 Neighbour.
I adore the narration by Christian Black & Laurie West.
What a first introduction that Tate Howard the Co Owner of his & Jagger’s new financial business 800 club whose story was first seen in Book 1.
But what a first meeting & impression Jane García has with Tate & it’s NOT even for that first episode it seems to go on through their employment relationship, where most people Would’ve left &/put a complaint of sexual harassment though I feel like she actually enjoyed his verbal attention, ESPECIALLY after she starts secretly putting in secret notes into his bag & he returns the ‘pleasure’.
And we see that he starts to quietly opens up to her & they become closer, but heck turn around 30 in a space of minutes when he finds out 100% that Jane is the Mystery Writer.
Great Love Story
This book just didn’t do it for me. Tate was your typical bad boy/womanizer but he seemed over the top. Plus I didn’t care much for Jan either.
Tongue in cheek
To My Arrogant Boss is an over the topic rom-com. To take it super seriously is to do the book and the author a disservice. You’ll genuinely have to suspend a lot of belief and just read it for what it is. I say this after having started and stopped at least 3 times because I kept getting totally disgusted with Tate, the male lead. Having said that though, there are some areas that just don’t make a lot of sense. The anal sex scene that Tate describes for Jane came out of left field and wasn’t necessary to the story. The topic itself wasn’t the problem, the fact that it had no point was. That Tate would knowingly take Jane home to meet his family, knowing that his parents are racists, and no warning to her of what she would be facing, again odd and off putting. Sex in his parent’s bed? Childish on Tate’s part and uncharacteristic on Jane’s and not even in keeping with the over the top comedic style of the book. Lastly, there is an added epilogue that is unnecessary and not following the story line. I am not sure why it was added but you can tell that it was an after thought as it literally does not follow the timeline established the page before. Perhaps it was an alternate ending. Either way, there needed to be a bit of proofreading done.
This book is by far not the best that you will find, however, it isn’t the worst. There are parts that will make you laugh if you approach the story in the right frame of mind.

4 star review To My Arrogant Boss (The Inappropriate Bachelors #2) by J S Cooper by J S Cooper
AUDIO REVIEW:
Although not a long book, it certainly was entertaining. The story is well written and I was invested from the first to the last chapter. The narrators Laurie West and Christian Black are new to me and I enjoyed their performances.
This is Tate and Jane’s story. I really liked Jane and I fell for Tate, so swoon worthy in the end. This was a fun read that had me laughing and smiling at time. The friendship that Jane has with her girlfriends added another layer to the story.

Oh Wow
This is such a fun filled read.
Tate and Jane get off to a rocky start, but the sexual tension between them was like a live wire and very exciting.
I loved their chemistry and the dialogue they exchange is entertaining and amusing they made me giggle numerous times. Jane certainly is an unexpected but welcome force to be reckoned with and takes none of Tates crap, even though he is her boss she gives as good as she gets…She seems immune to this playboys charms…or is She ?..
J.S Cooper has delivered another hilarious book that just captivates you from the start with characters you love or love to hate and a magnificent story to make you feel good.
I loved it
5star read.
A great story which starts with a unique idea and builds upon it. The result is a humorous story that was entertaining, engaging, humorous and witty. The interactions between them were creative with a sexy vibe and I enjoyed this book immensely.

This story is very entertaining. There are a lot of things that are enjoyable about this story. Jane works for Tate. Tate is an arrogant playboy jerk. Jane starts leaving him notes letting him know that he’s not all that. Be prepared for lewd and crass language as well as some steamy scenes! Jane and Tate had a love-hate relationship that is interesting to watch. I recommend reading this book.
