To Love a Prince by Nana Malone is book Two in The Prince Duet. This continues the story of Ariel and Tristan so you should read the first book ‘Return of the Prince’ before reading this one to fully enjoy their story. This book starts where we left off in the last book and continues to build on their relationship. We also are getting the pieces of the puzzles put together. This series and this author knows how to keep you on your toes with what is going on and what you think is going on.
I enjoyed their story and will be looking for more from this author in the future.
Like clockwork I can count on this author to bring me stories of intrigue and suspense and hot and heavy on the romance, every book such consistency she could teach a class in the art of writing exactly the type of book I’m looking for EVERY TIME! We’ve seen Ariel in several of Ms. Malone’s stories as a member of the Royal Guard and its about d^mn time she got her HEA! Yummy Prince Tristan was so worth the wait.(not that Ariel had been patiently waiting, pining away or anything, she’d certainly had her hands full protecting everyone but still). So many twists and turns on this roller coaster ride but I loved every single word and I absolutely can’t wait for my next visit to Winston Isles
Thelma and Louise
I couldn’t wait for this little beauty to hit my Kindle. Ariel has fascinated me since I entered into the world of the Winston Isles. There was always something enigmatic about her. The quirkiness and her superhero abilities with a computer, I was always enthralled with her. The relationship she has with Penny has always warmed my heart. Ariel has the keen ability to see the truth even if it’s hidden under multiple camouflaged layers. She possesses a rare type of instinct; one that sees through people. She has this uncanny ability of being able to cut through all the nonsense and get to the crux of any issue. As I had previously said: Ariel and Penny are Thelma and Louise (before they drive off the cliff.)
Tristan comes with his fair share of secrets. Secrets he believes will ruin him forever, especially when it comes to his blossoming relationship with Ariel.
‘She was mine. After ten years, Ariel was mine again. Now all you need to do is hold on to her. Good luck with that.’
With ten years of growing up between them, their dance in this duet is careful and often cumbersome. Fears, ingrain insecurities and knee jerk reactions lead to several very combustible situations.
Mystery still surrounds the who, where, why and what of whom is behind all the attempts on Tristan’s life. The mystery has spanned the duet and not for one moment has this been drawn out or ever felt pointless. In a Nana Malone book, every situation happens for a reason and there is no useless padding.
Spending time with Sebastian and Penny is always a joy. After reading Cheeky Prince and Cheeky Royal they have become my favourite characters…well up until I got this book, that is. Ariel and Tristan have real chemistry, there are sparks and explosions all the way through this book. Nothing is concrete until it is.
The end has left me wondering one thing…who is the man with the grey eyes. Thank you, Ms Malone, for once again giving me a respite from real life.
I love me some Ariel. She is badass to the core. I have been waiting for the conclusion to the story and it was worth the sleep that I lost to finish it. It was intriguing and full of twist and turns. I was hooked and fascinated with every single word. I adore Prince Tristan and there is no one better for him than Ariel. Team Winston Isles rock. I’ve been rocking with Nana for a long time and she is hands down the Queen of romantic suspense. Until next time y’all happy reading.
All is not as it seems.
Nana Malone seriously outdid herself with this second book of Prince Tristan and Lady Ariel, and, I have to admit, my favourite scene isn’t even hot or romantic. Just some plain old fashioned fisticuffs when the lights go out in Stanstit Prison! Trouble is, it seems Queen Penny and Ariel have taken their Former Royal Guard duties a little too seriously, and Sebastian is more than a little pissed – meaning that Ariel just might find herself out in the cold. I worried that his anger would close his mind to the true threat to Tristan that Ariel was trying to investigate, and not heed her warnings.
As always, the duets all stand-a-lone in their stories about each couple, but throughout, Ms Malone has strung her readers along with little snippets of suspense. They’ve kept me intrigued and suspicious. The plot heat was ramped up to epic in this Princely duet, and I was trying to decide whether to speed up the reading to find out what the hell was going on, or slow it down because I wanted the book to last! All of the plot threads going through the books in this royal series were being pulled together, even as the perpetrators’ deadly plans were unravelling. The answer to every one of my questions have been a long time coming.
I was absolutely invested in this group of characters, and am almost sad that their stories have been told. Needless to say, Nana Malone didn’t leave me disappointed though! She left a plot bunny at the end, guaranteeing that I have another set of books to look forward to. 5 Stars and a recommendation to those who love steamy and suspenseful romantic comedies to read Ms Malone’s books. You won’t be disappointed.
I still can’t believe I only recently read my first books by this author. I have some serious back-reading to do. This author is very talented with romantic suspense, adding in a few twists and turns to keep us on our toes. In this book, I won’t lie, I did predict the end. That’s just me, though. Once I know there is a suspense plot, I am reading between the lines until I can figure it out. Still, I wasn’t 100% sure until later on in the book. To say I can’t wait to read more about Royal Elite is an understatement.
That said………
This is not a standalone. To Love a Prince is the completion of The Prince Duet. I absolutely loved the intrigue and mystery weaved into Ariel and Tristan’s story. These two have massive chemistry. In the first book, Ariel and Tristan are reunited. However, it is not a joyous reunion. There was conspiracy that tore them apart. Ten years! It took ten years for these two to have the deserved happily-ever-after they deserved. Hopefully, you read the first book and already know that Ariel and Tristan are together. But things are not entirely what they seem. There are still dangers and manipulation trying to ruin their happy-ever-after.
So, this is where I have to tell you that you’re going to have to wait to read this on your own if you’re looking for more details from me. Truthfully, there isn’t much more I can say without possibly spoiling this book for you. I can tell you, there is more suspense, intrigue, & danger to keep you on your toes. Right up to the very end!
If you haven’t ever read any of this author’s books, I want to tell you her writing talent is amazing. The writing flow is steady and her books are easy to devour in no time at all. I definitely recommend Nana Malone for you future reading enjoyment.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
How Nana Malone delivers a perfectly packed thriller romance every time is beyond my comprehension. Seriously I am amazed by her effortless and flawless storytelling. To Love A Prince is an unputdownable story for sure.
To Love A Prince is so much more than a royal romance. It has dangerous conspiracies. It has passionate, intimate and soulful second chance romance. The story is full of tricks, twists and turns. Ariel and Tristan has reunited but the happily ever after is still a long way to go. They are fighting the opposing forces who are after their love and life.
Ariel has shown more of her badass moves in this story. It’s no secret that I am a big fan of sassy, kickass, smart woman like Ariel. But even a rough and tough Knight like her needs caring and protection. And Tristan is exactly suitable for that role. He is so damn sexy with a golden heart who is ready to face whole world alone. And a big cruel heartbreaking secret made him like this. My heart was aching for this incredible man. They complement each other so well.
Nana Malone writes the adventurous and sexy parts equally well. She kept the tension throughout the book to keep me engaged and enthralled. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, I chewed my nails off. To Love A Prince was really the complete package with a shiny little bow!

Five Stars!
What an amazing conclusion to Prince Tristan and Lady Ariel’s story. Nana Malone gave us a everything we love in a romance. We got suspense, mystery, emotions, laughter and the best of all we got a happily ever get after.
This book is the second in this duet and you will need to read Return of thee Prince first.
There is still a threat to the Prince and Ariel and the gang work together to find out who is behind it. Prince Tristan finally tells them about his brother and things start to fall in place. Though there is so many twists and turns in this book that you will be shocked when you start piecing things together.
Team Winston Isles is back and stronger than ever. I love this group of characters and can’t wait for more.
Highly recommended.

This is book two in this duet, so to get the complete story you need to read book one, Return of the Prince. Tristan and Ariel’s romance picks up from where thing ended and very quickly pulls you back into this world. I loved Tristan and Ariel. Their attraction, chemistry and genuine connection is so easy to feel between them. The plot is engaging and involving. Powerful emotions, drama, danger, steam, suspense and many twists keep your attention focused as the story unfold. A simply wonderful ending to a excellent romance.
To Love a Prince is the conclusion of Tristan and Ariel’s love story. They finally get together at the end of the last book but that doesn’t mean the danger is over! Ariel still has to figure out who has been trying to kill the Prince.
This is a second chance romance filled with action, steam, suspense, mystery, twists, turns, love, intrigue, and laughs. We get answers to questions in the previous book, “Return of the Prince.” There are a lot of appearances from characters in the previous Royal books. I love seeing these characters again. They add so much depth to the story. Nana keeps us guessing as to “whodunit” and this keeps us on our toes, flipping the pages. I enjoyed reading this book and hated to see it come to an end.

This is Part 2 of Tristan and Ariel’s story, and what a story it is. Action packed, steamy love scenes, mystery and love. I just love the women of the Winston Isles, including the Queen, being either a Knight or Royal Guard, along with the men. Tristan tries to solve the problem he has with his brother all on his own, but Ariel is having none of that. Someone is trying to kill Tristan. The way Nana Malone brings things altogether is amazing. You won’t be able to put this book down. I highly recommend it.
I gave this book five stars because it was spectacular. Ariel and Tristan were perfect together. I can’t believe Tristian’s brother was that diabolical. I loved everything about the book. I am excited to read Zia’s story. Excellent job Nana!
Go Team Winston Isles!
This second half of the duet moves quickly. I received an advance copy in return for an honest review. More intrigue comes to light surrounding the royal family. Team Winston Isles reunites and the fun begins. There were so many things to enjoy in this story. Tristan and Ariel were a great couple. The interactions with their friends and family is just as fabulous. Nana Malone writes strong female characters and irresistable male characters. It makes her books addicting. All I can say is enjoy the ride!
Sigh, Tristan and Ariel….
There is so much to love in the conclusion of this duet. Shenanigans, intrigue, hot sex and a second chance at love. Readers are treated to Ariel and Penny working undercover and subsequently getting in trouble together, “That’s your Majesty home skillet to you.”~ Penny.
Royal Elite is still trying to eliminate the threat against Tristan. Sebastian is working the Council to continue to weed out those against him. Ella is trying to find her place in the world now that Tristan has Ariel again. Oh, and we get some more royal news, shhhh.
I cannot wait to see what is next up for Team Winston Isles. I love TWI and all of the stories.
To Love a Prince is Ariel and Tristan’s conclusion. You need to read Return of the Prince first, not only to help you understand what is going on, but because it is so good!!! To Love a Prince gave me all of the answers I was looking for. Full of intrigue, suspense and a fair amount of heat, what is not to love? I loved this duet and I loved this book.
To Love a Prince is the thrilling conclusion to Ariel and Prince Tristan’s relationship story, and it picks up where the first book, Return of the Prince left off. Unlike some of the other books surrounding the royal family of the Winston Isles, King Sebastian, Tristan’s cousin, and Queen Penny, Ariel’s best friend, play prominent roles because of all the intrigue surrounding Tristan’s return to the Winston Isles, and ultimately trying to find out who is trying to kill him. Is it part of the original conspiracy to take the Crown, or something more personal? In spite of the seriousness of the situation, the lively banter and arguments among the central cast is highly entertaining and adds to the flow of the story. Enjoyable conclusion to this part of the story, but we are given a sneak preview of what’s to come in the Epilogue!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. A perfect conclusion of an even better story I didn’t quite expect the twists and turns it entailed along the way. I had my suspissions on what or who is responsible for some mayor events, but otherwise I also didn’t… It’s such a pleasure reading through Ariel’s and Tristan’s way back to each other, it’s almost scary.
I think Miss Malone is really getting into this series, and the characters and story are coming alive with a detail and reality that are making each one a stronger book than the previous. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the earlier books, I feel like they are definitely a part of a larger book-world and being able to see the growth of the characters is making the series stronger.
Book One in this duet gave us the hint of a happily ever for Tristan and Ariel, but we knew there would be more hiccups to the plan, including a crazy road trip planned by Penny and Ariel. So we’re not only working a happily ever after for one couple in the book, but the crazy conspiracy theories abound and keep us on our toes!
We know and love Tristan and Ariel already. But this book gave us way a much more intricate backstory to both characters that had the readers really connecting with these two. They were forced to divulge a lot of information to friends and family, and make tough choices. Through it all, we got to read chapters by not only the main characters of this book, but by beloved past characters like the King and Queen. All of which led to a better understanding of not only Ariel and Tristan, but many in their close circle.
These two have had waves of pheromones and chemistry coming off them in waves for multiple books. So it was no surprise to see some salacious sexy times. But the depth of the relationship was explored and we got to see a romantic and thought out side of both of them; along with a lot of jealousy and love!
I opened this book a bit leery, not sure if I’d get sucked in or not; but I was quickly taken back to the Winston Isles and immersed into the conspiracies and romance of the island. Cringing when the reader could connect some dots the characters couldn’t, and gasping when I was as surprised as they at a new turn of events. I loved seeing the past main characters, with chapters in their voice. It brings the back into itself, making the overall story arc much stronger.
I am so into these books now! Starting out I kept plodding through as I was caught up, but struggling with the first few feeling mechanical and eerily similar. These last few have been great at keeping the reader involved, entranced, and intrigued! I’m sure Ashton has more crazy in store for us as we get to know more of the Royal Elite and see the rest of the Royal family fall in love.

If you read Return of the Prince then in my opinion To Love a Prince is an AWESOME!, conclusion. This starts off where Return of the Prince ends. Let’s just say the story that follows is incredible. Nana Malone roped me in and kept me on the edge of my seat turning the pages. One of the reasons I kept turning the pages was to see if I was right about all the things going on, needless to say I had most things figured out. Yet I found it so fun getting to the end of things. Nana Malone did incorporate Sebastian and Penny into this book. I love Ariel and Penny together and how they work together, I found myself yelling you GO Girls!. Sebastian and Tristan got on my nerves with there alpha dictator attitudes, I do understand them wanting to protect the women they love. There was one scene in the book where I got to see Penny and Sebastian at their best working together, it did my heart good. In my opinion Nana Malone did a good job of mystery, intrigue and suspense. Oh the steam was there also. In my opinion if you are a Nana Malone and The Royals fan, she did not disappoint. At the end of To Love a Prince, Nana Malone left a new questions, I look forward to finding the answers to. I would recommend this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader’s copy.
An AWESOME conclusion of Tristan and Ariel’s love story. This book just keeps you on the edge of do they or don’t they, who dunnit, with royal intrigue, sexy confrontations and old doubts coming into play with so many untrustworthy members, family and friends. Loved it!!
