Sweet story about love, loss, guilt, grief and new beginnings.

I LOVE this book!! It is the BEST book I have read in a long time!!
It held my interest
Appreciate clean reading.
Great read! I would recommend this book
An easy read following a typical format where both parties are fighting the almost immediate attraction. So, lots of their thoughts are conveyed. There is also a mystery of who is trying to sabotage the B&B that the woman is hoping to open in the near future. This adds more to the story than just the growing relationship pains. This reader appreciates the clean romance.
Jazz is trying to star a new life for her and her twin sister renovating their Grandparents Marion into an B&B. Dalton is a drifter now after the tragedy that hit his family. When Dalton offer to work for Jazz as a handyman she accepts right away. But they will going to face threatens to the B&B and the feelings growing between them. Will they find love and happiness again?
Great Book! Everyone should pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed.
Jazz McNally inherited her grandparents’ mansion along with her siblings and decided to turn it into a B&B. She ran away from her wedding nine months ago after she caught her finance Tom kissing her bridesmaid Megan. Both Tom and Jazz were in real estate and Tom was more interested in the financial benefits of marrying Jazz and merging their companies. He was angry when he was left him with half the wedding bills. McNally Mansion has been vandalized since she’s been there with a broken window, a smashed gazebo, the website hacked and threatening phone calls. The police suggested Tom as a suspect and she dismissed it immediately never mind that he has motive. Several people in town are not happy with her and could be possible suspects including the Mark and Rich Stevenson who own the property next to the B&B, which they are trying to sell. Dalton O’Brien is a drifter with construction experience and Jazz hires him to help fix up the B&B. He is running from his guilt and his past. He lost his wife and son in a car accident when they were on vacation while he was busy being a hot shot architect and earning lots of money. Dalton and Jazz are attracted to each other and keeps kissing her and then pushing her away.
I loved this story about Jazz and Dalton. It has romance, love, some suspense, a called off wedding, a widower with survivor’s guilt, vandalism, cyber crime, and a sister with issues to continue t he series. The characters are very realistic. I thought Jazz and Dalton made a great team. I was totally wrapped up in this story and could not put it down.
Enjoyable enough while reading it, but totally forgettable.
Not realistic
A good book for light reading. Short and sweet. It almost seemed like the author reached her page limit and quickly finished things up at a whole different pace.
Plot made no sense. Characters predictable. There was more written about their meals than the characters and scenes. You can read this book in a half hour because there was no substance to it.
An enjoyable story! The author drew a good picture of what was happening. I could picture the setting of the heroine’s home, and how it all took place. The same is true with what was going on in the lives of the characters. I hated for it to end.
More like a 2.5
5 stars
I recieved a free copy of To Love: The McNally Family book 1 by Laura Scott and this review was given freely.
Well written, suspenseful and full of conflict this full length sweet romance centers around former reale state business woman Jazzlyn McNally who is trying to turn her grandparent’s mansion into a B&B with the help of the former arcitect now widower and drifter Dalton. Realistic characters, town secrets, a wedding called off, vandalism, cyber crime, an attempted kidnapping, a blooming romance, and self healing are seamlessly blended with rehabbing the property and glimpses into the other 4 McNally siblings’ lives.
A complex romantic mystery with a few false leads and a happy ending.
