Harper Lee’s Pulitzer prize-winning masterwork of honor and injustice in the deep south—and the heroism of one man in the face of blind and violent hatred, available now for the first time as an e-book. One of the best-loved stories of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird has been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, served as the basis for an … enormously popular motion picture, and was voted one of the best novels of the twentieth century by librarians across the country. A gripping, heart-wrenching, and wholly remarkable tale of coming-of-age in a South poisoned by virulent prejudice, it views a world of great beauty and savage inequities through the eyes of a young girl, as her father-a crusading local lawyer-risks everything to defend a black man unjustly accused of a terrible crime.

There is a reason this is a classic. Great inspirational characters.
Throw a little girl’s eyes, it tells all the cruelity that people reserve to different ethnicities. It also fights prejudices and teaches you that men that society hides, because different and maybe a bit dangerous, can save your life and help you to get justice.
Right at the top of my all-time favorites!
A wonderful discription on how racism impacted the world.
IT IS SO DEEP AND MAGICAL! Not reading it will be a great loss!
This is a classic. It really brings to life how life was and how unfair the world was. The characters jump off the pages and you can see them in your mind. If you haven’t read this, do yourself a favor and read it.
My all-time favorite story. FABULOUS. It should be required reading for every school child!
A must read foreveryone
Ignorant, white-savior-filled plot. Yawn.
One of my favorite books ever!!!!
Loved loved loved it. Read it as a young girl in school and read it again as an older girl for pure pleasure
One of my favourite books of all time. It is a must read for everyone as it takes to back to small town America during the Jim Crowe laws. The characters are real, and you will watch them grow up in front of your eyes. You won’t be able to put it down.
As all books turned into movies, the book is more intense and interesting than the movie could ever bring to the screen. This book shows a difference in social differences whether it be money or race. As with Huckleberry Finn, this is a book worth reading and sharing with others. It would be a benefit to the any English class curriculum. It …
A Classic. One man’s fight to end injustice as viewed by his daughter.
Classic. No wonder Harper Lee didn’t write another. How could she top this one?
Everyone should read.
Everyone should read this book, at least once. Great conversations if your teens have read it too. Highly recommend this book.
Very well written
Lee was realistic in capturing how the south was so prejudiced against blacks and how difficult to see justice done at that time.
I read and listened to this book. On the audio, Sissy Spacek was the reader. In my head, I wanted to hear the movie actors! I had forgotten many of the parts of this book, since the movie and the play concentrate mainly on the trial of Tom Robinson.
This book is about a small town, Maycomb, Alabama. It is the story of the Finch children, Jem …
