Harper Lee’s Pulitzer prize-winning masterwork of honor and injustice in the deep south—and the heroism of one man in the face of blind and violent hatred, available now for the first time as an e-book. One of the best-loved stories of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird has been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, served as the basis for an … enormously popular motion picture, and was voted one of the best novels of the twentieth century by librarians across the country. A gripping, heart-wrenching, and wholly remarkable tale of coming-of-age in a South poisoned by virulent prejudice, it views a world of great beauty and savage inequities through the eyes of a young girl, as her father-a crusading local lawyer-risks everything to defend a black man unjustly accused of a terrible crime.

amazing and hard to read all at the same time. I highly recommend for anyone 15 and older 🙂
I love this book so much. This is actually my second time of reading, and if possible, I loved it even more. Atticus Finch is my hero. Kind, mild mannered, and a perfect role model for his two adventurous children Jean-Louise “Scout” Finch age 8 (nearly 9), and Jeremy “Jem” Finch aged 12 who spend their days up to mischief in the neighbourhood, …
Everything about this book is perfect
An important book
This is one of my all time favorites. Love the characters. Thought provoking.
I picked this book off my shelves to read again because I wanted to read the second novel, ‘Go Set a Watchman’ in the light of the first.
Even though this was my third/fourth reading of this iconic novel I still came to realisations that I had missed before, I found humour in there that I had missed previously, but it still brought tears to my …
My very favorite book of all time. Every time I read it, I still have a little bit of hope that Atticus can pull off the impossible. If he was in this space in June 2020, I think he could definitely do it. Long live those who stick up for the underdogs.
Classic…a must read!
My favorite book of all time!
good
Wonderful every time.
This book is a Classic. Everybody should read this. The movie is also a Classic. Especially in this time when people are so judging this is a refreshing, lovely story.
I read this book when I was in Jr. high. It was great then, and still great. I plan on reading it again. A story like this is great no matter how many times I read it.
it was good
A timeless classic that is a must-read for everyone.
Are there people who have not read this book? It’s s wonderful rendition of growing up in the south and the difficulty of achieving justice for an innocent black man accused by a white girl, and the example set by a father for her son and daughter about humanity, courage, and the necessity of doing what is morally right.
I truly believe that this book the the finest American English novel ever written. My father said it best, when I told him I’d read it, “That’s too bad – now you’ll never again experience the joy, wonder and emotion of reading it for the first time.”
Best book ever written
Greatest book I Ever read
So well written that it is one of the few books that I enjoy reading several times.
