Harper Lee’s Pulitzer prize-winning masterwork of honor and injustice in the deep south—and the heroism of one man in the face of blind and violent hatred, available now for the first time as an e-book. One of the best-loved stories of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird has been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, served as the basis for an … enormously popular motion picture, and was voted one of the best novels of the twentieth century by librarians across the country. A gripping, heart-wrenching, and wholly remarkable tale of coming-of-age in a South poisoned by virulent prejudice, it views a world of great beauty and savage inequities through the eyes of a young girl, as her father-a crusading local lawyer-risks everything to defend a black man unjustly accused of a terrible crime.

Why You Should Definitely Read, ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’
‘Someone rare has written this very fine novel, a writer with the liveliest sense of life and the warmest, most authentic humor. A touching book; and so funny, so likable – Truman Capote’
If you were always the one who used to ask, ‘Mamma, what is rape?’ or ‘Daddy, Where does a baby come …
What can I say? A must for everyone. Addresses a hard topic with heart felt delivery.
To me he was the perfect example of life. Atticus Finch is an exceptional human being
The advice he gives his children is superbly marvelous. He. was the father I always wished I had.

cant let me read book
Did not enjoy the book at all. I do not understand why people think it is so great.
Recently read this again after many years and enjoyed it even more. Amazing story and characters, still relevant today!
Loved this book.
Classic
This is one of my very favorite books.
It was a great book and I have read it several times over the years.
The book is almost as true today as it was when it was written.
This book is still one of my favorites due to Harper Lee’s ability to make the reader feel and experience the story. I also loved the audiobook. Sissy Spacek’s reading captures the emotion, humor, and tension as the characters come to life. Well done!
Probably my favorite book. Read it when I was only 13 loved it then, read it again early forties loved it even more
One of my favorite books ever in the 60 years I have been reading.
One of the best books ever written. Characters are fully fleshed out and believable. Moralistic and informative of life in the 1930s South.
The word I would use is “gripping.” It wasn’t a choice. Great and classic read.
Best book ever! Timeless lessons about personal interactions, should be on everyone’s reading list.
I loved it first time around, ow as an older wiser adult I see the tropes of the White man saving the day, it’s still a beautiful story in my opinion. There is only one Scout in American Lit.
This book, much like “Watership Down” was a one off for the authors. I consider both books near masterpieces.
A classic. Read several times when I was eight, and so identified with Scout.
