Harper Lee’s Pulitzer prize-winning masterwork of honor and injustice in the deep south—and the heroism of one man in the face of blind and violent hatred, available now for the first time as an e-book. One of the best-loved stories of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird has been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, served as the basis for an … enormously popular motion picture, and was voted one of the best novels of the twentieth century by librarians across the country. A gripping, heart-wrenching, and wholly remarkable tale of coming-of-age in a South poisoned by virulent prejudice, it views a world of great beauty and savage inequities through the eyes of a young girl, as her father-a crusading local lawyer-risks everything to defend a black man unjustly accused of a terrible crime.

One of my top 10 favorites ever!
One of my most favorite books!!!
Harper Lee never equaled her accomplishment with this sensational first novel. Don’t call yourself a lover of fiction until you’ve read this book.
Every young high school-aged person’s must read
Love this book and always have. It is eye opening never having grown up in the South. It is sad that we still have prejudice even in 2019.
A wonderful classic tale of Scout and Jem growing up in a 1930s town where their father defends an innocent black man charged with raping a young woman. Told boldly and with much wisdom, this is a tale to read over and over again to learn about human nature, the ways of the human heart and the sin of prejudice.
One of the great all time reads.
Mockingbird is a classic because it addresses important issues with grace and courage. It’s beloved by millions because it’s charming, funny, sweet and beautiful. It really is an amazing book.

Classic
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the few books that hasn’t been spoilt by the dissection of the novel when studying it in class.
Beautifully written and well designed characters bring Maycomb to life, and also teaches the reader. Harper Lee is very talented to have been able to spread this message of racism and tolerance so naturally in the book. …
Best book ever
The time and place this novel takes place is real. I love the way the story came to life. The characters were three dimensional and memorable.
