After months spent in hiding, Princess Holly is finally ready to take her rightful place as ruler of Atharia. All she has to do now is survive her murderous uncle’s attempts to steal the throne for himself. But when a mysterious gentleman washes up on the shores of her beach, she’s shocked to realize she needs his help almost as much as he needs hers … his plan was to escape the arranged marriage, his scheming father brokered for him. The storm that nearly killed him was not part of the plan. Neither was meeting her. Holly is everything he ever wanted, and he will do anything to keep her safe and get her home—even if doing so means he’ll be forced to let her go forever…
A union between a princess and a lowly future duke is forbidden. But as intrigue abounds and their enemies circle, will Drew and Holly defy the obligations and expectations that stand between them to take a chance on love? Or is their happily ever after merely a dream?

What a great first book in this new series! Drew & Holly are a perfect couple with a tender to spicy love story that keeps you turning pages quickly. However, her uncle will do anything to permanently remove her so that he would have the power of the throne. Holly flees with her royal guards & hides from him in England.
Drew Meyers, Marquess of Balhannah, is handsome & doesn’t see a reason to marry but his loving father has found a rich heiress for his to marry. Drew & Myrtle are friends & she writes a letter explaining that they were going to be coming to his estate in two days & they will be married by an agreement between the fathers. She knows they are friend but neither loves the other one, so she asks that he leave England. Drew does leave on his sail raft but a storm rages and washes him ashore.
Holly finds Drew close to death & nurses him back to health, but he claims he cannot remember who he is or anything about his past. She doesn’t know whether to trust him or not but after spending time together, they develop deep feelings for each other. I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.
To Dream of You is an ARC I received from the fabulous, the one and only Tamara Gill. This is the first book in the Royal House of Atharia series, a series about three princesses.
Holly Devereux, actually the Princess of Atharia, is hiding in England from her evil uncle who wants the power of the throne, after the death of Holly’s father. She finds Drew washed ashore one morning, all battered and bruised. Drew decides to be one of her bodyguards when he learns her true identity as a repayment for her saving his life. As they spend time together, feelings, very strong feelings develop between them and they must both fight this attraction as a princess must marry someone else of royalty. Another superb story by Tamara Gill
Princess Holly of Atharia is set to take the throne in a few short weeks, inheriting immeasurable wealth and position. However her scheming uncle has other plans. Having her removed permanently would pave the way for him. Fleeing to England for safety until her birthday, Holly reinvents herself as Miss holly Devereux & her royal guards are working as her staff. Drew Meyers, Marquis of Balhannah suffers from a loving but manipulative father who’s found him the perfect wife, one of fortune and connections. Drew refuses to marry anyone, not of his choosing, and when the heiress writes and begs him to flee before her arrival at his estate, Drew does as she asks and absconds on his sailing boat. A storm sees Drew wash up on the beach, injured and almost dead where he’s rescued by Holly, who takes pity on the injured man who claims memory loss and allows him to stay. Unsure of his loyalty and unlikely story, Holly remains on guard. But as Holly and Drew grow closer, they discover how similar their paths truly are.
The start of a new series & what an exciting, engrossing read it was. The pace was so good that I read it in two sittings as I found it very hard to put down. Strong lovable characters added to the enjoyment & the chemistry between Drew& Holly was electric, the more time they spent together the more they fell in love but each knew their time together was limited. I was really routing for them to have their HEA. A lovley read & I look forward to Holly’s siblings’ stories
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
