It’s time Matthew admitted he has bitten off more than he can chew by purchasing the old house on the hill… After all, it was just going to be a side project. Having his new brother-in-law fix up the place had been easy enough. Spending the first night in the old place, he’d gotten a little more than he’d bargained for and now the interior decorated that he’d hired was the only one who could … corroborate his crazy stories.
Interior decorator, Blake Shelby was hired to work on what was going to become one of the best projects in her new career. The massive old place was a perfect setting to show off her skills. It didn’t put her out any that the owner was tall, dark-haired, green eyes, and everything she’d ever dreamed of. Speaking of dreams, since staying in the guest room, she’d had a few doozies herself.

A hauntingly heartwarming holiday adventure filled with sexy fun, holiday cheer and chilly nights heated up by steamy passion…. Loved this emotionally thrilling romantic journey that takes us back to one of my favorite places Pride, Oregon. Could not put it down this highly entertaining second chance romance!
This is the 4th book in the Pride Oregon
Series. However, this book can be read as a stand alone. ( I did not realize this was part of a series until after I finished).
This is the story of Matt and Blake. Matt buys an old haunted house and hires Blake to help remodel it. Along the way they discover the house is haunted and they may be the only ones who can solve the mystery.
I have never read a book and actually gotten the chills multiple times thought the book. Author Jill Sanders does an amazing job captivating you into this book and she makes you love the characters and the little town of Pride. I will definately be going back to read the other 3 books in this series.
I really liked Matt and Blake. Love the haunted house. They met a couple of years ago in Italy and it was pretty much love at first sight, but ended too soon. Now Blake is in Pride and Matt needs his house decorated. If Matt can talk Blake into staying with him, it would be great. But, she seems leery about getting close to him again. With the holidays coming up, Matt is sure that he can talk her into staying in his house and his life. Blake’s parents come for the holiday and things don’t go very well with her mother, but Blake is determined to not let her mother upset her again. As Matt and Blake try to help the ghosts move on, they want to get rid of the ghosts of their past.
I really liked this book. Matthew and Blake met 2 years prior in Italy where they spent a week together before Blake disappeared. Matt has purchased a home that needs a lot of renovation and his cousins think that interior designer, Blake can help. When Matt meets up with Blake he realizes that it is the same Blake from two years ago. Sparks still fly between the two even after two years. With the holidays approaching Matt try’s to rekindle their romance. Throw in a ghost or two, the crazy Jordan clan and the holidays and you have a great book.
An absolutely, delightful Christmas romance between 2 people from totally different backgrounds, who get a second chance at love and with some mysterious, ghostly occurrences thrown in for extra adventures.
I truly enjoyed reading this book!
