An enemies-to-lovers rock star romance…
“You’re not being very nice right now.”“I think you like it when I’m not nice.”Nick Fletcher has the voice of a god and a tongue as sharp as a knife. His words can cut, and this time, his quick temper has earned him an intruder in his life and on his tour.Dalia Brenner looks like a grown-up Annie gone bad, but he wants nothing to do with her pin-up … like a grown-up Annie gone bad, but he wants nothing to do with her pin-up worthy curves and smart mouth. His method of dealing is to keep his head down, get through the tour, and then he’ll never have to see her again.
Dalia has no intention of having heart-to-hearts with Nick. They share a bus and sleep three feet apart every night, but that doesn’t mean she can’t ignore the scowly, grumpy lead singer.
Except she can’t seem to deny the annoying instinct to “fix” the pain and grief behind Nick’s sea glass eyes, even though she definitely knows better.
And Nick, well, he’s getting tired of denying Dalia…period.
Dalia has plans though, and none of them involve being a rock star’s girlfriend. Too bad Nick couldn’t disagree more.

I loved everything about this book. It’s not your typical rock star romance–there’s so much more to it. Nick and Dalia, the H&H, are unique and interesting, and it doesn’t stop there. Every one of the supporting characters (and there’s quite a few) have layers upon layers that you want to unravel. I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants Julia Wolf to write books for them as well. Times Like These is filled with emotions–it really grabs your heart and holds on tight throughout. On top of all that, the sex is HOT. Overall, it’s such a well-developed story, I couldn’t possibly ask for anything better. (But you know, I still want those other stories. *Hint *Hint)
This was a fantastic, kind of enemies to lovers, rockstar romance. Nick and Dalia have amazing chemistry, and the supporting characters are just as interesting as the mains. I’ve only read a handful of rockstar romances, but this book is definitely one of my favorites in the trope. I’m looking forward to reading more from the absolutely talented author. This book is, without a doubt, an absolute MUST READ.
I love and nick and Delia from the beginning..they have this connection and chemistry that they both deny at beginning . And all the characters are so great through the book..and when they give it explosive..this book is amazing..it can’t wait to read more of all these characters..hurry and get this book you will have no regret.
I’m totally in love with this book. I love how colorful the characters were. I’m hoping for more.
I inhaled this book! The story and the characters grabbed me from page one and wouldn’t let go until the swoonworthy ending.
This book was one of my favourites of the year so far. It had everything you want in a fantastic book. The storyline, characters everything was perfect. I can’t wait to read more about these characters. Fingers crossed for more in this series.
I cannot believe I am giving a rockstar romance 5 stars . 1st I only give 5 stars to most absolute favorite and I am not a huge fan of rockstar romance. That being said- I loved every second of this book!! The characters are so well developed I really need more. I not only fell in love with the main characters but everyone. I want stories on them all!!!
This is the 1st time a read the author and I am an instant fan. I hope her other stories are just as good as this one
This book was AMAZING! It was such a refreshing take on the bad buy Rockstar. And I loved Dalia. She was so badass. The characters felt so real I wished I could touch them. Julia Wolf is so good at creating realistic characters. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out. If you enjoy enemies-to-lovers stories, then you need to one-click this bad boy, now!
Dalia was talking into going to a concert to watch her sister favorite band, Blue is the color. She started recording the bass player because if it was going to be a bad performance she wanted to balst them on social media. Once she posted her video, her post went viral. She even gets a tweet from Nick, the lead singer of the band calling her a cunt. After this she looses her job but gets an offer to be the personal assistant to the bands manager. All she wants to do is stay as far from Nick as possible. These 2 get thrown together a lot. The chemistry is off the charts. I couldn’t put the book down. I loved the banter. I loved how it went from enemies to lovers.
I LOVED this book. Dalia and Nick are fantastically real and I loved their journey, their story, and everything about them. Really need a book about each of the other band members now, please!
5 AMAZING WONDERFUL FABULOUS STARS!!!!!
This book!!!!! I don’t even know where to begin to describe how much I LOVED this story! The writing, the characters, the chemistry, everything was perfect and had me hooked from the very first page until the last.
This enemies to lovers romance was so out of this world and different from any others I have read. You can feel the chemistry between the characters, and not just between Nick and Dalia, but between any of the characters any time they interact. I felt that I truly got to know and love each of these characters as I followed them on their music tour. There was humor, drama and some suspenseful moments and I was definitely on the edge of my seat more than once.
I felt so many emotions throughout the entire story and was so sad when it came to an end. Please tell me that there will be more books in this series! I have to have more of Blue is the Color! – By Alisa
Dalia goes to a concert with her younger sister and it is canceled after 2 songs. She expressed her displeasure strongly on Instagram. That leads to drama and chaos. Then a silver lining appears when she gets to tour with the same band over the summer. The romance between Dalia and Nick (lead singer) was entertaining and heartwarming. Yes they had their ups and downs but I couldn’t stop laughing st their dialogue. I strongly recommend this book. I have voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This was SO GOOD. I loved the humour, the sass, the fantastic turbulence of the relationship between the protagonists, and the vividly portrayed group of characters that filled out this story so well. I can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
Oh this book was so good. A gritty, rock and roll themed love story with a rough around the edges, jerky rock star. 🙂 Nick is the lead singer of a well known rock band, he is a bit of jerk and quick temper which often gets him into trouble. When a band member collapses during a performance Dalia fires off a snarky tweet that quickly angers Nick whose response and sets off a chain reaction, forcing the two of them together. Fired from her job with no choice but to accept an offer to work all summer with Nick and his band Dalia finds herself falling for Nick. This story is a refreshing rock star romance with a strong female lead that does take anything from the H. I loved how Dalia learned to love Nick and not just give into her attraction. Nick was definitely a jerk in the beginning and few times through out but he ultimately has a heart of gold and made me love him too. A great read by Julia Wolf. I hope she has more stories in store for us with the other band members.
Right from the start this book will pull you in from the intro to the guys in the band to wanting to learn more about the dreadful feeling. I loved how the author introduced us to Dalia. The relationship between Nick and Dalia is one of a roller coaster and will have you yelling at them for the things they do or you want them to do and they just won’t listen. Several things that happen will leave you in tears and others will have you laughing. These characters are very relatable and realistic. I can’t wait to get to know more of each of these band members in future books and so looking forward to reading more.
Times Like These follow Nick, lead singer in a rock band and Dalia who has inadvertently ending up helping on part of their tour. Nick and Dalia did not start off off on the best of terms after she accused a band member, Jasper, of being drunk during a concert and slamming him in social media. Jasper was in fact exhausted and ill, rather than drunk and Nick, being the protector of the band, called her a ‘cunt’ on social media. Dalia then loses her job after the bad press. Tali, the band manager and Jasper offer Dalia a job, much to Nick’s disgust. The whole band warm up to Dalia although her and Nick have a love/hate relationship until they don’t. But their relationship is far from smooth. A good, easy read. Be happy to read more about the other band members.
Let me just say, this is a fantastic book!! I have never read anything from this author before, but that is going to change!! This book is about Nick who is a moody, alpha, bad boy rocker and Dalia, who is independent, sassy, confident and headstrong. With these descriptions, what could go wrong?? These characters are great and their back and forth banter is epic. You will not want to put this book down once you start it. Along with the banter you get sexy, funny, angst, ups and down and love. You do not want to miss out on this one!!
I just loved how Dalia was so sassy and quick witted where as Nick is all broody and grumpy as when they are around each other is fun for everyone as they verbally spar and its all Nicks fault for calling her a name no one should be called. All the guys from Blue is the Colour band are great with such different personality’s so getting to know them while seeing how things unfold for Dalia and Nick was great especially as you get to understand why he lashed out. I have to say one of my favorite parts was what Dalia bought for Ian and then how Nick reacted (insert grab tissues) so yeah read it, love it and wait impatiently like me for the next book!
Misunderstandings that leads to more
Dalia gets dragged to a concert by her sister. She sees an incident on stage and tweeted about it and the next thing she knows she fired from her job. When she demands why she’s told that Nick the lead singer had a fit about it. After things settle she gets asked to come on tour with the band as assistant to the manager and get an apology from Nick. He does grudgingly and wants to stay away from her! She has the same idea but fate decides it has other ideas. They are attracted but what will happen? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
The push and pull of Delia and Nick was yummy. You have Nick who is this cocky jerk with the voice of a gravely sounding angel. Delia is a sassy, tell it like it is, free spirit. They don’t like each other but are in close quarters for two months, and the sexual tension is fantastic. I love the interaction between all the characters in this book. Everyone has baggage and scars, but they are their own little family on the road. Need more, please.
