A witch with no loyalties… A Druid with a life-shattering secret… price.
Tavin used to be a Druid. Actually, he still is, but his magic took a decidedly unDruidlike turn a few years back. Rather than deal with his kinsmen, who’d be convinced he sold his soul to evil, he drops out of sight.
Things have changed since he left. A lot. Roskelly witches are part of the Druids’ community. To his dismay, another witch appears out of nowhere, except this one is half demon. Certain he must be mistaken, he drops his invisibility illusion to take a closer look. If Druids have been corrupted by Black Magic, he’ll have to intervene. The odds are hideous, but he has no choice.

What a wonderful wrap-up to the Elemental Witch series! Time’s Hostage is fast-paced and unique, filled with twists and turns, danger and romance. The characters are well developed and endearing, carrying forth from the previous books while adding two wonderfully dynamic new ones into the mix that steal your heart strings right from the start. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, finally wrapping up the story of the evil Roskelly witches!
Wow! This series has been so amazing that I hate to see it end, but if it has to end then I couldn’t have asked for a more exciting ending. I have said it before, and I’ll say it again, no one writes like Ann Gimple. She makes you feel like you are living the story and not just reading it, with the perfect amount of detail given to the world she sucks you into.
This story focuses on Sorcha, another granddaughter of the evil Rhea Roskelly, and Tavin, a Druid/shifter with more than a few secrets. Neither one trusts easily, but that might be the only way to win this battle of good versus evil. Without giving away any spoilers, I will tell you that the story is action-packed, fast-paced, and thrilling. It is also a beautiful love story between two people it is easy to cheer for. The chemistry between them burns fast and hot, but passion can’t be the be-all-end-all in any true love story. This one also brings the battle to a close, so hold on tight. I would recommend this one to anyone who loves time-travel, paranormal romances, snark, magic, and surprises. And while I’m sad to see this series come to an end, I can’t wait to see what amazing world Ms. Gimpel creates next.
This is the third and last book in the Elemental Witch’s.
Even though they all can be read as a stand-alone its best
if you read the series from the beginning.
This is such a amazing book that I found I was hooked well and
truly.
This book brings every thing to get her as good versus evil who will win.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
In this fantasy this author has put a delicious flavor to it also-Highland. The lilt and sing song of the brogue you think of while reading is part of the magic in this one along with the characters. Sorcha and Tavin are the pull in this one with the drama after Sorcha. Talk about captivating that is Tavin. Trust and working together will be part of this one along with it going at a fast pace with us hanging on. You also have other characters that make this one a well rounded one that you escape too and not leave anytime soon. It has its own stamp with its uniqueness that lends you the ability to want to keep going and when you get to the end of this one you still can not move for awhile.
This is a wonderful way to end this trilogy. Druid’s, witches, shifters, demons dragons and harpies. Trips through time and hell, this book has it all. Sorcha Roskelly is such a pleasant surprise. Half demon, half Roskelly witch and an escapee from Hell. Tavin is everything a Druid should be, plus an added side of shifter, and he is drool worthy. Together they are made for each other. I had to laugh at Sorcha’s sense of humor. After living her whole life either ignored or alone in hell, it’s not easy to work with someone else. I love how easily their magic meshed and the power was strong. This is a heart pounding romance that you won’t want to put down until you’re done. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
So I went in to this one thinking it would be Kat & Lilliana’s mom, Gloria, but I was wrong. This brought in 2 new characters, Tavin-a druid shifter, & Sorcha-a half demon Roskelly witch who just happens to be Gloria’s sister. Gotcha is on the run from Rhea & teleported in to a meeting of all our prior heroes. She is the first to spot Tavin in his shifted form. She knows he’s not a normal peregrine falcon, but she doesn’t know what he is. She discovers that she’s related to the 3 witches & after listening to them plot ways to bring down Rhea she decides to stick around & help. She tags along with Tavin on a scouting mission & they end up combining their magical just to survive. This is a fast-paced, adventure that includes a trip to Hell. Twists & turns are around every corner.
Ann hits the nail on the head again. Her characters are well thought out with depth & individual personalities. The locations are so descriptive that you can easily picture yourself right there in the middle of it all. You have to read this series in order but you won’t be disappointed.
Guess whose back, I have to give Rhea credit for being so determined and cocky, lol. Sorcha is a great character, very powerful with a compassionate heart of gold. I like Tavin too, he’s a gentleman. I think their past self-made “isolation” makes them very compatible and his patience is admirable. I think his calm guidance & demeanor helps Sorcha with her rush-through life from one time period to another mentality in her effort to run & protect others forever from the darkness of some of her family. Very well written, characters have depth, plot full of action, very interesting and unique paranormal aspects. Always get that “wow” factor when reading this authors books, so good I read it twice..:) I am voluntarily reviewing a free copy.
The third book in the Elemental Witch series a well written book that I was not putting down until I had finished a book that kept me on the edge of my seat. The pages flow smoothly from one to the other. I recommend this series. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I just adore Sorcha and Tavin. This was a wonderful ending to the series and the epilogue was wonderful.
