I could not put this book down. The story was unique, the characters real, the situation unique. I loved it from beginning to end.
Michelle Kidd’s Timeless Moments grabbed me, and the mesmerizing story engulfed me until the end. I took only one break while reading it. Jack Vines glimpses a distressed young woman in his garden who disappears after she dashes into his house . . . or does she? The author weaves the fabric of time between the past and the present with the precision of a skilled seamstress. The mystery and intrigue of this fascinating novel involving Jack in present day and Jewel starting in 1915 is masterful in plot, characters, and pacing. The thread of gold further enriching it is the use of scriptures as well placed accents; each verse used warmed my heart and provided hope for the characters. I love jigsaw puzzles and this story comes together much like one—no spoilers here. If you like a well-crafted story full of characters who will touch your heart, read this five star novel.
I loved this book from page one it held my attention. Very unpredictable, lovable characters and a plot that will keep you turning the pages. As soon as I finished this book I immediately went to Amazon to buy more books by Michelle Kidd, I bought two books. I had trouble getting interested in the first one and upon closer checking I discovered there are two authors with the same name. Can’t wait for this Michelle Kidd to write another book!
A story spanning a decade, testing the faith and endurance of relationships with all involved. The incredible has happened. Someone from the past has appeared in the future, and it’s not a ghost. Even more surprising is the ability of objects to travel from the beginning of a century into the future. The mystery keeps you turning the pages. As does the fear that something terrible is about to happen in the past and Jack, in the future, doesn’t know how to help stop it.
The style of the writer kept my interest, as well as the mystery of not knowing what would happen next to the wonderful characters. It was hard to put down.
Normally, I’m somewhat suspicious when I see a new book receive nothing but the highest ratings. The idea of the story intrigued me, so I thought I’d find out for myself if it was that good. I was not disappointed.
Michelle Kidd’s characters were well-developed and each had their own voice. My rating of good reads is normally very conservative, but I give this story a page-turning 5 stars.
The story would be suitable for anyone who enjoys historical, romance, suspense, and mystery.
It kept me engaged through every page.
A Magical Novel That one cannot put down! This story will keep your attention start to finish. In the 1890s, a sweet, guileless young woman marries a man turned monstrous abuser. He tortured her by keeping her behind locked doors and hooking her on narcotics. She writes a letter, putting it in the window seat. A man in the twentieth receives and answers it. A correspondence ensues.
I will not reveal the rest, except the characters and letters slip back and forth other three generations of intrigue and danger. A ready will finish feeling well satisfied. Recommend it!
Enchanting! Take a grand old Victorian house with a ghost and I’m naturally hooked! From there, it’s an engaging and transporting story with mystery, intrigue and romance. I loved the way the plot unraveled and finally fell into place.
This book was DIFFERENT, and delightfully so! It was a clean, fictional romance with a twist (like a ghost!). I loved it!
An enjoyable read!
Great story
Very believable. Wonderful characters. Page turner
Good ending
Enjoyed it from start to finish
I had to read the ending twice to make certain I understood what had taken place. Light reading, but a good book.
Loved every minute of it. A great read!
Multiple timelines were sometimes confusing, so I’m glad the author resolved them all with good reason.
Loved this book. I love time travel books. It isn’t your usual one. Loved it, made me sad, and was surprised with the ending. Would highly recommend
Meh??? It was ok. A lot of holes and the ending seemed rushed and kind of convoluted. As a tolerant evolutionist, I’m not bothered by religious God references like a lot of other readers can be. I was just hoping this was going to be more sci-fi / supernatural based than religious based.
I would give this 8 stars if I could. Suspense laced with faith & love and I didn’t want it to end.
Very enjoyable!
I was amazed to see any negative reviews regarding this book! I found Michelle’s writing style to be wonderfully descriptive! The story-line was enthralling and made me not want to put the book down! Her references to her religion were not overdone as some reviews implied. All in all this has been one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read in a long time! I look forward to more books from her! Very well done!
I found it riveting and hard to put down. The characters were believable to a fault. That crazy husband of Jewel was a modern day monster. I was hooked!
This book is a real page turner. A perfect blend of time travel, historical fiction, and mystery.
I completely enjoyed this book. To think you are sharing your home with a person whom you would suspect to be a ghost, that is if you believed in ghosts. How do you even begin to deal with this? Loved it!
