“Perhaps I will cut your throat as you tried to cut mine. Will I still want to touch you when your blood is on my hands? Or will it chase your ghost from my thoughts?”He held his hands out and considered them for a moment, shaking his head.“I think not. I think still you would haunt me.”TIME WALKERSMaggie is a modern day woman with all her flaws, thrust back into a time when men were carving out … back into a time when men were carving out the history of America. She has just enough knowledge of the past to know trouble is coming, yet soon she is kicking herself for not paying better attention in history class. When she is captured by Winn, a warrior who is torn between his duty to kill her and his desire to keep her, she must adapt to a life she had only read about in history books.
Winn is a seventeenth century Paspahegh warrior, born in a time before the English settlers arrived on the shores of Tsenacomoco. He has learned the ways of the English and uses his knowledge to ensure the survival of his people, but when he finds a wounded woman in the woods his loyalty is put to the ultimate test.
Hunted and feared by both the Powhatan and the English, Maggie struggles to find a way home while Winn plots to keep her there. Maggie fights to survive as she finds herself entangled in the Massacre of 1622, and Winn sees everything he ever believed in shattered by the knowledge she holds. With ties to both the past and future, their lives unfold among the stirrings of a new nation. Maggie and Winn risk everything to survive as the once powerful Powhatan Nation crumbles and the English build a country from the ashes.

Good read – I thought it moved a little slow in places but enjoyed the story.
I loved this entire series. The time travel was original and the characters were wonderful. I learned so much about the early settlers as well.
I will quickly get my hands on the next Vol 2 installment. Yes, it’s time travel & romance. Think it was very well done.
This is a really well-written time travel romance. I loved reading about the characters adventures.
Loved it!
Couldn’t put this book down. I completed the entire series in a few days. This book has time travel, romance, and historical fiction. Happy I took a chance on this, since historical fictions aren’t my go-to.
It was slow going for me to buy into this story. But once I did, I find I really enjoyed it. I am currently in the middle of the second in the series and already have the third. The writing is good and there are few typos to distract you. I definitely would recommend these books. The first one can be read as a stand alone, so if you don’t get …
Love the whole series
I enjoyed reading Time Walkers by E.B. Brown. The premise of the time traveling plot line is super interesting, well thought out, and unpredictable. The characters are interesting and believable. I didn’t want to put the book down! I highly recommend this book, and look forward to more books from this author.
A look into the past by someone from today’s world. A woman struggles to fit into the gender role of the era yet keep her independent nature. It has twists and turns in the plot to keep you engaged. A great read.
Wonderful reading.
Couldn’t put it down
Interesting twist on dimensions and Indian legend. Love to shifters
Love this series!
LOVED IT! I fell I love with the characters. I could not put it down. I read while I cooked dinner, I read while we ate dinner, I read ALL THE TIME.
Did I mention I loved the story ?
I really enjoyed this story. I like i.e. time travel stories and I thought that this one was written well.
This book was well-written and enjoyable. I like the strong female lead character. The time travel theme is interesting and handled very well, which adds to the appeal of the story. Of course you can’t have a good story without romance and true love. I do recommend this book.
This was a pretty good read. Little slow to start, but kept me reading. Nice love story with lots of twists.
Shows you how it was back when the west was starting up. More men than women that brought on the ordering of mail order for women and the different reasons that the women went West.
