Author’s Warning: Though I have tried to handle it delicately, readers should know that my heroine, Emmeline, is the victim of sexual assault. If you have also been a victim, please read with care. I hope, as I always do when I write this kind of book, to provide a narrative which will bring hope and healing to the reader, not a re-occurrence of trauma.

Will they be in time
This author continues to amaze me with the way she is able to handle delicate subjects so well. Emmeline has suffered through so much, even when she thinks she is doing the right thing it backfires on her, and yet the author has still managed to make her into this strong woman who has faced adversity and came out stronger on the other side. Skahr is just the kindred that our heroine needs, one who is soft and kind and full of love to share with both her and her son. I have loved every kindred that the author has brought into my reading world, each one has their own special element that is perfect for the women who end up in their lives. I truly enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see what the author brings us next.
Love love this series. Another great one. I loved that he took them both as a package deal no questions asked. Pulled my heart strings. Loved loved it. I’m ready for the next one.

A traumatic and life altering event Emmeline has endured begot her a beautiful son.
Twisted current beliefs from ignorant heartless parents cause a young mother to go against her hearts wishes.
Enter a warrior tasked with a world altering prophesy to fulfill who will help her recover all that was lost.
Skahr is drawn to the heartsick young woman with an embattled spirit.
Can they learn to help one another before all is lost?

Another fantastic addition to the Kindred series. I especially liked that it’s a women empowering kind of story. Emmeline was a victim but she came out victorious in the end. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for this series. I received a free copy via Booksprout I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Skahr and Emmeline together both race through time to save her son and heal his clan stone. I really enjoyed this book great detailed story plot I was excited to read this book since reading her last kindred book. Chemistry was off the chart. There are some heartbreaking moments but I love how evangeline writes real life hard situation and gives each character a mate to help them both heal through the hard times to reach their happy ending.

Time to Heal
Time to Heal is a Kindred Tales novel. Although many of the characters we know who live on the Kindred Mother Ship are present, the story does not center on them. We do have a Kindred Warrior, Skahr, who is sent to find the woman, Emmeline, who can heal his world. But first he has to heal Emmeline, who has been cruelly separated from her son. But the storyline similarity with other Kindred Tales ends there.
First, Time to Heal begins with many references to the Kindred Tales novel published right before it, Trapped in Time. Other Kindred Tales may be read as stand-alone stories, but these two are actually first cousins as the characters from the first one appear multiple times in the second. Your enjoyment of Time to Heal will be much greater if you have read Trapped in Time.
The second difference is in the problems the two major characters must face. In other Brides of the Kindred and Kindred Tales, the main characters are caught up in misunderstandings and struggles caused by their life choices. But the angst in this novel is caused by forces outside the two. Both are broken, but neither can be healed on his or her own. What might seem to be simple to do in our world becomes shattered in other worlds.
Time to Heal drew me right in. Although I have not personally experienced the same trauma Emmeline did, I have known others who have. Having to see those experiences in another time made me realize how difficult her original choice must have been. Although I have read all of the Brides of the Kindred and Kindred Tales, none of them made me feel like this one did. Evangeline Anderson has hit the iceberg of social perceptions and threatens to sink our own Titanics. But, in case that makes you feel this novel may not have that Anderson Touch, let me assure you our Kindred warrior is just as hot and handsome as any other Kindred hero and Emmeline is just and strong and beautiful as any other heroine. The steam is still there as are the twists Ms. Anderson puts in any of her novels. You will enjoy being pulled along their journey and will remember this story long after you finish reading it.

I enjoyed reading this book, it has a great storyline. There is lots of action, intrigue and the chemistry and interaction between the characters, Emmeline and Skahr is wonderful. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Emmeline to me is a warrior in my opinion.
She faces so much dramatic things in her life.
But through it all she chose to keep moving forward.
I love that in a character.
Skahr wow was a joy to read.
I love his attitude towards Emmeline and her son.
The connection between the MC was hot I really enjoyed this book.
This Author writes from the heart,
And it shows.
This book was well written.
And the story plot was amazing
That gives the reader excited to be read this book.
Overall this book meet my expectations.
I recommend this book to anyone
I voluntary read an advance reader
Copy and my opinion are my own.
Let me start by saying I think Evangeline handle writing about someone who had been victimized very well. I think she done an amazing job showing the struggle, fear, anger, guilt, and healing.
My heart broke for Emmeline. I feel in love with her in the previous book and felt sorry for her as well. She had went through so much. She truly show no matter what you go through you have the chose to let it completely destroy you or make you stronger. Emmeline was so strong and brave.
I swear Evangeline’s Kindreds are alway so hot and sexy and Skahr was no exception. I always love when she introduces a new Kindred race to use. Got to read the book to find out more about his race but I will tell you like all Kindred he truly love and respected women.
I love the chemistry between Emmeline and Skahr. Skahr was willing to lay down his life for Emmeline and her son. He will show her so much, teach her so much, and help her break down walls that bind her.
This was truly a great story and love this Time Travel stuff the author is bring to the series.
A woman with a damaged heart and soul, a warrior on a mission, a civilization in danger, a mother’s desire to protect her young. This book combines all with action, romance, suspense, and more, keeping you turning the pages for more. A must read!
Great book, sorry when it ended! Great series!
This is another excellent read in the Kindred Series from Evangeline Anderson. Writing is superb and storytelling is of the quality a reader of this series expects; excellent quality. Sizzling, romantic and adventurous throughout. I would recommend this book to all those over 18 years old. You just can’t go wrong with Evangeline Anderson.

I was so excited to read Emmeline’s story. She endured so much and just wanted to love and heal her son. I really loved seeing how she went from so naive to such a strong and independent woman. I loved Skahr and Emmeline chemistry and journey. It’s so interesting with the different timeline jumps. I really enjoyed this book and cant wait for the next one.

Time to Heal: A Kindred Tales Novel: Brides of the Kindred
The author introduced us to Emmeline’s story in the previous book. Her Kindred cousin tried to assist her difficult predicament and protect her but his destiny took him on a path to a different dimension. However the Kindred on the mother ship were able to follow her story through their time portal. I highly recommend reading “Trapped in Time” the book preceding this one as it lays the ground for this storyline.
Evangeline was able to handle Emme’s story of being taken advantage of and her pregnancy with care. It was truly heartbreaking what she had to go through and when it comes to babies and mothers being separated my heart especially hurts.
In another dimension (there are multiverses involved in these tales) there is a prophesy that needs to be fulfilled to save the people. Skhar, a warrior on this more primitive world , is sent to save Emmeline . Skhar has his own painful past to heal from and must move past that to take on the task of saving this woman and her child. She is the one in the prophesy who must help heal the crystal on his world.
Although from two extremely different worlds they find a way to each other’s hearts and strengths to help to save her baby and his world. Together in this adventure they healed themselves as well.
This was an exciting continuation of the previous Kindred book with a journey that has its own surprises, rollercoaster ride of emotions and an interesting HEA!
Another very good book by one of my favorite authors. A lot of possibilities to explore new plots.
I love all of the Kindred books. This one takes a mix of regency, space and barbarian and comes out with one hell of a story. Several of the characters are from the previous book and would help with this one but you don’t have to read it to enjoy this one. The two main characters are from two different worlds in more ways than one. She is from a world where proper and protocol are everything. Your standing in the community means more than morals or caring. He is a barbarian kindred who needs to find fulfill the prophecy to save his people. Ms. Anderson is able to weave these two worlds together and make one adventurous and romantic story.
It continues with Emmeline from the previous book. Caroline and Sophie were watching her through the time machine Emmeline gave her baby to her mom with the understanding she would be able to see her son. She finds she no longer able to see him after seeing him looking ill. Skahr is from another time and is transported to the Mother Ship and finds he has to wear cloths from another time period and learn their customs. During that time he meets Emmeline’s cousin. He then goes and tries to find Emmeline so that she can heal their Peace Crystal. Skahr finds her to continue their journey

Poor she’s been through so much with her son. Skahr promises to help, and he does, but will they get their HEA? Of course! The Goddess doesn’t put two together that shouldn’t be. I love these two and look forward to seeing what’s next!

Another fantastic read in this series.
A traumatic event in her life resulted in a beautiful child. Unfortunately as a single mother she was cast out into the world. In a dimension where time was like Victorian England poor Emmeline could not survive without the help of others. Who is this barbarian, is he from this world and will he help her get her child back.
The author wrote this well, the assault was mentioned and she had the barbarian treat Emmeline with respect and kindness.
Great story, I highly recommend it.
I was so excited that Emmeline was getting her own story! Emmeline lives in a world that’s kind of old renaissance era with a sci fi twist. She’s taken against her will and ends up pregnant. Her family basically throws her away because that situation doesn’t look good for the upper class society. Emmeline doesn’t want her son to be raised the way she is forced to live now so she agrees to let her parents raise him. However, he’s sick now and she needs to help him and her mother won’t let her. In walks Skahr, who needs Emmelines help back in his world. He agrees to help her get her son if she’ll help him in his world. In the process he teaches her they way a Kindred treats a woman and how life would be with love in it.
Then if course we get the drama! Loved it, this was another great part of the series. I’ll never get tired of these books!
