Dr. David Lawrence has spent the last two years atoning for his sins and recovering from the devastating breakup with Gansett Island golden girl Janey McCarthy. As the island’s only doctor, he’s had ample opportunity to show his fellow island residents that there’s more to him than the guy who disappointed Janey so profoundly. Now if only he could find a way to forgive himself, he might be able … able to move on with his life without the woman he’d expected to love forever…
Daisy Babson, probationary director of housekeeping at McCarthy’s Gansett Island Inn, is in bad need of a fresh start after her relationship with Truck Henry took a violent turn, leaving her battered and broken—in more ways than one. As she recovers from her injuries, her days are made brighter by her visits with David Lawrence. The kind and caring doctor who tended to her after the attack has become much more than a friend to her in recent weeks.
Will these two wounded hearts take comfort from one another and move forward on a new path toward love together? Or will ghosts from the past derail them before they get the chance for their own happily ever after?

Love all her books, can’t put them down,
I couldn’t wait to read Diasy story. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved some of the dialogue it made me laugh. I was happy & felt sorry for Janey. I was so happy for Tiffany. I was happy & felt sorry for David. I thought Daisy was very strong for what she been through. I was happy & felt sorry for Daisy. I loved the updates on all the other characters.
I believe everyone gets a second chance, although Im not a big fan of cheater’s, Marie redeems David in the best possible way and you can’t but fall in love with him as he finds his way to a HEA with sweet damaged Daisy. These two are such a perfect couple. Even get another wedding with Blaine and Tiffany tying the knot . Marie you are a legend.
Without a doubt, Marie Force has once again delivered another epic installment. Time for Love, is about healing, redemption and individual penance.
Even though we see the initial spark between David and Daisy in Longing for Love, I was honestly not to sure that David and Daisy would pique my interest. Daisy coming from an abusive relationship and David carrying a torch for Janey had me at the fence. Then the story developed and a special, tender, endearing relationship blossomed making this visit to Gansett Island so heartwarming.
What makes this series truly epic, Marie makes sure that the characters that are being updated are experiencing what the title states. Time for Love is no exception. Marie makes the characters humanistic by exposing their flaws, their strengths, and the struggles that the couples cope regardless of where their relationship is at.
The sibling banter is ALWAYS my favorite and the unification of friends and family brings the story home.
Time for love is already stirring new relationships as well as extending the families created.
This series continues to be a must read!
great series!
Love all the books in this series. Love the author.
3.5 stars.
This was the redemption of David book. David did a number of hurtful and selfish things when he was with Janey, but in this book, he acknowledged them and seemed to understand why he did them. I think it all comes down to the fact that sometimes a relationship is not the “right” relationship. The fact that he came clean with Daisy gave him points in his favor, but I’m not sure I would have move forward as fast as she did.
David and Daisy didn’t have the kind of chemistry like Blaine and Tiffany, or even Mac and Maddie. They were sweet. They seemed to need each other in order to move past their issues.
As usual, there were a number of things going on at the same time with previous characters. Isn’t that how it is in life? Friends and family sometimes moving from one crisis to another and trying to support each other through the good and bad. Seems as though that is what Gansett Island is all about.
Enjoy how the Gansett Island books tie together. Though previous couples are revisited, enough background is provided to read them as stand alones
