Misty Pennebaker came to Eden’s Ridge to escape a painful past and find a new beginning. She’s built a life surrounded by beauty, with her gift shop showcasing local artisans and her work as the only florist in town. Contented with her shop and her dog, the last thing she’s looking for is a relationship. Especially one with the gorgeous, tattooed biker who works at the tavern down the street.… street.
Denver Hershal has been aware of Misty since she showed up in town three years ago. Aware, and interested. But he doesn’t have time for more than running his bar, tinkering with his vintage motorcycle, and riding herd on his pup–or so he tells himself. No matter how much his heart races whenever he’s near her. Besides, why would a beautiful, modern-day flower child want anything to do with a rough-around-the-edges bar owner?
When his bartender cooks up a matchmaking scheme to put Denver in Misty’s orbit, he’s surprised at how much he has in common with her–including their mutual tendency to want to leave the past in the past and keep it private. But what will happen when Misty’s private past is revealed, and clashes painfully with the things Denver’s tried to put behind him?

I love all things Kait Nolan as well as involving the small town of Eden’s Ridge in her Misfit Inn series. And while I typically prefer a full length novel since I never want to put it down or for it to end, this story surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds which speaks to Kait’s amazing writing abilities. Kait renders both Misty and Denver with such depth that the reader is immediately drawn to connect with them. And you’ve gotta love a little small-town, in your business meddling to get these two together. Til There Was You is such a fun, sweet romance well worth the read!

I didn’t think I’d like Denver’s and Misty’s story because I don’t like novellas. I usually find them unfulfilling but I adore Kait Nolan and the world she’s created in Eden’s Ridge, TN so I thought I’d give this story a try. I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful story with true-to-life characters, believable conflict, and all the romance I’ve come to expect from Ms. Nolan. I received an advance copy of the book and this is an unbiased review (if the book was bad, I would have said so – life’s too short to read bad books).
Another winner from Kait Nolan!!! Misty and Denver’s story is one I love from beginning to end. It’s always great to visit Eden’s Ridge and the cast of characters that live there. This series never disappoints and this expanded version from Once Upon A Wedding makes you fall in love with the characters, the town and the series! A definite 5 stars from me!
Denver the logical bar owner has been watching Misty for several years. The sweet owner of the florist and gift shop is asked to do the flowers for a friends wedding.and Denver is asked to create an arbor that Misty can decorate with flowers for the wedding. They work together and their attraction grows.

Til There Was You is a story of romance and discovery with meant-for-each-other chemistry that’s off the charts! If not masterfully written, the story might’ve been about two weak characters who finally stumbled upon each other & then couldn’t manage obstacles that seem to trouble true love in every relationship! Denver’s issues with his father’s illness & death were not just “kind’ve a big deal”; they were most definitely an overwhelmingly Big Deal”!! But before I believed that, I was right there with Kennedy telling him to just suck it up & go apologize to Misty. And, amazingly, soon after I found myself taking the high road with Misty and finding strength of character after all. This is true Kait Nolan storytelling! So real, I find myself interacting with these wonderfully complex characters in a small town setting. And the best part? Even though each of her stories has an HEA, I’ll get to revisit these unforgettable characters from time to time in other stories from the series. Do yourself a favor & curl up with one of them for a very enjoyable evening

This book might be small, but it has lots of surprises. Denver and Misty are amazing with each other including their dogs. I was shocked to find out about Denver’s secret. I was happy he finally got it out. Misty was needing someone to fill her gap and Denver was that person. I received this book from the author and reviewed voluntarily.
Denver and Misty make such a cute couple. I loved how they were so awkward around each other at first. It was sweet. I also loved that the book advocated for rescuing dogs, especially seniors. Of course, the love that bloomed between Oscar and Moxie was especially sweet. I found it humorous when Denver told Misty he had to make things right between them or Oscar would never forgive him.
As always Kait Nolan has written a book that I highly recommend reading. The story is well-written, the characters have depth, and the story kept me engaged from beginning to end. I recommend you buy your copy today.
Love at long last!

This is Denver & Misty’s story. Misty is truly a “flower child”, owns the local florist gift shop.
Denver is a bar keeper, owner. Two of their close friends play Cupid for them. Both were attracted to the other, but unwilling to make a move. They have to work together for an upcoming wedding, her as the florist, him as the talented woodworker.
Seems all is going well until he find out what her former job was, he runs away because of his past experiences with insurance companies.
But alas, true love wins out and the future looks bright!

A great book! The setting is a small town in Tennessee and I loved every one of the people in it. Denver runs a bar and Misty runs a flower shop. She wears different flowers in her hair everyday. Denver and Misty both own a dog and they both have a secret. The town gossips made me laugh. This book is a great romance and I recommend it to everyone. I received an ARC for an honest review. I loved it!!!
Enjoyed this brief visit to Eden Ridge. What can a hippie flower lover and a tattooed bar owner have in common? Helping friends prepare for a wedding!
The character development wasn’t up to Nolan’s usual par, but I still enjoyed the feels in this story. Why do we allow our past to hinder our present? Don’t worry, there’s a happily ever after.
I received an advance copy and chose to leave this honest review.
As always Kait has put out another page turner that you don’t want to put down until the last page! Misty and Denver’s story should keep everyone happy, it has just enough of all the elements

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. A very enjoyable romantic read. There are ups and downs between the main characters that makes the story interesting. Definitely recommend
Loved the matchmaking friends – so sly. Misty and Denver have know each other for awhile but have not moved past casual conversation until…. Opposites definitely attract with these two but they really were the perfect fit for each other. There was a bit of a bump in the road in their relationship but friends to the rescue and some eye opening brought about reconciliation. The ending was really sweet.

Denver owns Elvira’s Tavern in Eden’s Ridge where Kennedy works. Since this is a small town where everyone knows everyone’s business, he keeps to himself. I loved that Kennedy and Cayla noticed how Denver looks at Misty, but has never made a move to get to know her. Since Kennedy is getting married, they bring Misty and Denver together by asking him to build an arbor and Misty to take care of the flowers for the arbor. Since Misty owns the flower shop in town, this is a good way to get the two to talk. I enjoyed them working together and putting their ideas together to make the arbor even better than it started. The two have a good time getting to know each other and break down each other’s walls until Misty tells Denver something about her past. I was a little disappointed in Denver for not talking to Misty about what upset him. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read the book. I had the opportunity to read the original and I think I love this version even more. This was completely adorable. A quick read filled with awe-worthy moments and some thought provoking situations. Misty and Denver may look like opposites but they’re living proof that opposites attract. Both of them have some big emotional baggage that they’ve been trying to escape, and together they just might be the solution to each others problems. I loved the chance to see Kennedy and Xander’s wedding, but it’s still not enough to tide me over until the author’s next release.

Great book. i couldn’t put it down. Denver and misty made it thru the rough patches. Keep it going Kait !!
This novella is really great. I love learning about characters who were mentioned in other books (Misfit Inn Series). This is short read that you won’t be able to put down. The meet cute was awesome and now it’s a novella. Another hit from Kaitlin Nolan.

Denver and Misty each moved to Eden’s Ridge to escape a painful past. Denver is stoic and tough. Misty is beauty and loving. The two work on a common project. Will that connection be enough for them to let their walls down?

I loved reading another book in the Misfit Inn series. It did not disappoint. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
I always love a Kait Nolan novel and this book certainly didn’t disappoint me. Till There Was You is Misty and Denver’s love story in the Misfit Inn series. They have danced around their attraction for each other for three years, and end up working together on a wedding arbor, thanks to their well-meaning friends. But the matchmaking gets shaky when certain truths come out, leaving the reader wondering if things will ever work out for these two. This is a quick read, with no cliffhanger, and that awww HEA. Pick it up and you won’t be sorry!
