What to say about this book god i felt like my heart was ripped out so many times journey and cash’s story is not one i will forget in a hurry.
Cash broke my heart so many time’s in this book and sometimes the way he treated people god i wanted to get into the book and just punch him out but that’s what makes it an awesome book for me, when my emotions are flying all over the place but i knew i loved cash for a reason and by the end i just wanted to cuddle him.
Journey she is such an old soul and i loved her character, she was strong and supportive but i really loved her never give up attitude even though you thought she was going too. I loved how much she loved Cash and how she just new they were soul mates.
There are so many things i loved about this duet i loved how each chapter started with a quote from a musician, music is my first love and what gets me through life books are also number one as well.
There are times when i was crying and couldn’t read anymore so it took me a few sittings to read this but it was raw and emotional and i loved the way M Robinson wrote this story and oh the heartbreak especially in one part when i thought it was all over i wouldn’t read another book of hers if this is part of the story and how could she do this to us, but she redeemed herself thank goodness.
I absolutely loved this book and duet and would recommend anyone to read this, if you love sex drugs and rock n roll this is the duet for you.

Till The Last Lyric is book two in the Life of Debauchery by M. Robinson and what a conclusion for Cash and Journey story. From start to finish we are taken on an emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions. We pick up book 2 right where book 1 leaves us and what a tale is spun. Robinson’s words throughout this story are so powerful that you feel as if you are living this life with them. Feeling their feels and emotions and heartache. But Family is family and sometimes no matter how many years past, forgiveness is given.
A powerful love story of not giving up, yet losing yourself somewhere along the way and the path to right the wrongs. I hope I didn’t give to much away because this is a must-read. But please read book 1 to really feel the impact of this story.
Cash thinks he has it all but when Journey shows up and tilts his world sideways and backward he if faced to make some hard decisions in his life.
Brilliantly written. Pulls you in from page one till the end.

REVIEW
Til The Last Lyric picks up with Cash and Journey. It’s music and on tour and angsty and all that, but the character of Cash just was not agreeable to me. Journey was great. She has an old soul, and I think she should fly free to elsewhere. Some people aren’t worth it, Cash being one of them. I know redemption and second chances are real, but I didn’t buy it with Cash. Because of this, I liked the story less. I wanted to believe everything was fine, but nope. If you believe, you will love the story.
This book broke my heart in so many places I feel like I have been through the biggest emotional wringer ever. M. Robinson delivers the conclusion to the duet and for the most part this story was everything I anticipated it would be, the highs and the lows , the laughter and the tears, I experienced it all.
Cash was running from his past ; but I never really got to grips with why. Sure there was conflict with his dad but I never truly understood where the wheels started to fall off in their relationship or rather I didn’t understand how they grew so distant. Also, from the turning point the rest of the story just seemed to fly by, I would’ve liked to have had more of the story the turning point. That’s just me, I can never have enough of these characters and always feel cheated out of words.
This is a hard book to read, or at least for me it was. This of course has nothing to do with the book itself but the Journey it takes you on. As someone who has lived my whole life around an addict I found myself utterly drawn the the words in this story and I could not have put the book down if I tried. It was brilliant and dark, I did enjoy it even if I found some parts of it really hard to read. I loved the ending, it was perfect for the story.
An amazing emotional read that will have you in tears, laughing and smiling. Cash and Journey’s story was exceptionally written and will not disappoint you. Grab the tissues and enjoy their journey.
This book was everything I thought it would be!!! I didn’t want this series to end!!!
Is there anyone out there who can explain to me just how it’s possible for M. to break, no, shatter my heart into a kabillion shards then put it back together again? If you’ve read the first book, you already know Cash is going through it and it ain’t pretty, and if you know someone who’s gone through (or is going through) the same or close to the same, you know how taxing and draining it can be (I had an uncle go through a similar experience). M.’s way of writing captured not just what Cash was going through, but how it affected those around him in a way that leaves you feeling like you are right there with the characters; she makes it feel personal and real without being all over the top.
“One day I’m going to be grown just like you , and your going to be all mine.”
This duet is my first read by M. Robinson and what a beautiful journey of self discovery and grief and true love this story was . Cash and Journeys story is raw intense and so full of emotions I balled through the last half of it so hard , the writing is flawless it’s full of so much angst and heartache, a very powerful gripping page turner! Definite must read and I highly recommended if your looking for a story that will make your heart pound than this is for you !

Till the Last Lyric is the second part in Life of Debauchery Duet. This story pick up right where it was left off in From the First Verse, and I couldn’t wait to see how everything played out. I liked it for the most part, I mean it’s Cash and Journey’s (June) story. But I was a bit disappointed with how rushed it felt, and how easy it was for things to be cleared up, it felt like some of the story was missing. I mean once Bailey learned the truth about Cash, how did their relationship progress? Another thing was how Cash was forgiven way to easy, for things he did, he never once had to own upto the responsiblity for his actions.
Why didn’t we see Journey’s other brother Jagger? I’m hoping we are going to get his story too.
What can I say. This duet may take be the best of Monica Robinson’s books. She is the QUEEN OF ANGST for a reason.
I cried, I laughed, I was on the edge of my seat with Cash and Journeys journey. We get glimpses of the Good Ol Boys Dylan McGraw and Austin.
In this book its a lot about addiction and alcoholism and the trials of trying to overcome addiction.
5 Stars are NOT enough!!!!
5 Their Love Story Will Stick With Me For Forever Stars!!!
Well, I asked for “mo mo mo” in my review of From the First Verse and Ms. Robinson has DELIVERED BIG TIME!! I knew the emotions would be high in this book and holy moly I was all over the place with this one. Between Cash coming back to North Carolina to Journey figuring out what her life with Cash could look like!
There isn’t one thing about this book that was a disappointment. The angst these two experience is so deep and filled with hurt and love and everything in between. Decisions are made that could irreparably change the lives of not only our H/h but of those that are in their inner circle from the band to family! Cash really struck a chord with my heart with this book. There’s pain that I wasn’t expecting, but Journey is the perfect balm to his pain.
These two really are Johnny and June and their love story really is one that will endure the long haul! I can’t wait to see what’s up next for the Good Ol’ Kids!!
4.5 Stars!
As soon as I finished reading From The First Verse I started counting down the days until ‘Til The Last Lyric released! I needed more of this story and couldn’t wait to find out what exactly was going to happen next! Just like with the first one I was hooked! It kept me glued to my kindle from start to finish. I loved it!
This second part in Cash and Journey’s story got me right in the chest! Once again the emotions poured off of the pages and I felt every bit of them deep in my soul. I loved how these characters made me feel so much throughout reading.
With From The First Verse and ‘Til The Last Lyric, Ms.Robinson has created a unforgettable journey with all the feels! This duet gave me the best kind of book hangovers. I can’t wait for her next book!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the author*
This is the second book in the Life of Debauchery Duet. It can be summed up by the beautiful quote form the artist Prince, which is mentioned in the book, when he wrote, “dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.” This is not a standalone and book one must be read first. The story picks up where the prior book left off and it has Cash and Journey’s journey through all of their ups and downs, trials and tribulations. Cash is a man with many demons that he is doing what he feels he needs to do to deal with the pain that he is constantly subjected to. The one light in his life is Journey. She is a young woman who does everything in her power to be what Cash needs, sometimes to her detriment. The chemistry between the two is beyond words until it becomes toxic and Journey starts to realize that all that glitters is not gold which makes her angry enough to push back.
This storyline is emotional and readers will feel the agony that Cash is going through. It is about figuring out who you are and realizing that love, in its purest form, can be the catalyst to change. Ms. Robinson is a master storyteller, crafting her words to create a memorable, heart pulling experience that will bring out all of the feels. There is not a second that goes by where the reader will not be impacted by the struggle these two characters endure. I highly recommend this series.
The more we get into Cash’s life the more pain we see. Is he an asshole, damn straight he is. My heart broke several times in this book. At times for Cash, others for Journey and then for both of them.
Cash is one of my favorite characters of this authors, along with Austin. They are a lot alike.
Take a chance on this duet if your wanting a raw emotional read.
When loving someone isn’t enough to save them what do you do?
Part 1 of this duet set up the story beautifully but did not prepare me for what was to come for Cash and Journey. The raw emotion throughout from both was heartbreakingly beautiful. The demons that Cash fought through the first part are still present and honestly stronger this time, he does what he can to stay strong and focus his attentions on his love for Journey but to no avail. Witnessing his struggle and Journey’s in her attempt to heal him tore me up. While this is a love story, I think that it mostly about Cash and his way back to the right path. Finding his way back to himself, his friends, his family, and his life, and that is what makes this story so beautiful.
I fell so hard for Cash and his darkness but also for Journey and her spirit. Their connection was one of true soul mates, it didn’t matter about the age gap, their families, the fans, the rock star life. these two were always meant to be there for each other and no matter what they would have found each other again because it was meant to be. I can’t get over how much I enjoyed reading this duet. 100 % a must read!

FIVE EMOTIONAL STARS for Journey and Cash !!!
BEAUTIFUL AND EMOTIONAL.
M. Robinson did it again!
She wrote one more emotional duet that stole my heart and then shattered it in a thousand pieces.
But, in the end, it put all the pieces together.
“‘Til the Last Lyric” is an emotional rock star romance with age-gap and friends to lovers tropes.
Journey is a female character that I loved from the beginning of this duet.
She is an old soul who sees people different and she would do anything to make people she loves happy.
What I loved the most is her stubbornness, because she didn’t give up on Cash, especially when was the hardest.
Cash is a male character who did a lot of mistakes, and the guilt he was feeling thrown him on the wrong path.
In this book, he proved that he really wanted to change and become the person who wouldn’t hurt the loved once anymore.
Journey and Cash’s relationship is something special because they know each other since Journey’s birth and the connection they have is rare.
Journey knew, even when she was a little girl, that she will marry Cash one day.
Because they are soulmates.
And they have more in common than music.
This duet isn’t only about their love.
It’s a story about making mistakes, going on the dark side, wanting to change, and after all asking for help from the people who care about you the most.
If you’re looking for a heartbreaking duet and you also love M. Robinson’s writing style, then this is your next duet to read!!!
Highly recommended!!!
P.S. Can’t wait to read more books by M. Robinson!
Holy HOTNESS!!! How could you not fall in love with CASH!!! Such a broken man just trying to find himself. So much weight to be carrying with too much pride. Journey love Cash so much she was there for him till Chas pushed her over the edge. Their love story took you from how sweet it could be in the beginning to the darkest times to get their HEA.
Such a great family reunion seeing everyone from Oak Island!!!
