LilyIn one colossally bad day, my boss fires me so he can give my job to his nephew, I find my boyfriend cheating on me, and—when being human is just too painful—I accidentally shift and trash my own apartment. My inner cat is apparently offended by table lamps. Then my grandfather falls and breaks his arm, and I head back to Silver Springs to help him. Or maybe I run back to Silver Springs… But … run back to Silver Springs…
But I won’t be there long.
My boss and my ex-boyfriend might be total jerks, but maybe there’s something really unlovable about me. I definitely don’t fit into sweet Silver Springs.
Blake—Mr. Bossy
When Lily’s car breaks down on the side of the road in Silver Springs, I’ve got the solution to all her problems—from towing her car with my truck to giving her a job at Hot Wheels, my brand-new garage. Easy.
When I finally convince her to come work with me and my ‘brothers’, she lights up the auto shop with her sassy personality.
Too bad she thinks I’m bossy when I’m just trying to help…
Dylan—Mr. Charming
Watching Blake and Lily is painful. Sparks fly in every way when the two of them are together. Sometimes they fight. Sometimes they lock eyes like they want to hop on top of the Honda and lick each other.
I’ve loved Lily since we were kid, but she’s always snubbed me. Once she reveals it’s her own insecurities that kept her from ever kissing me, though, I’m determined to show her just how much I adore her… If only I can convince her what I feel is real.
Archer—Mr. Nerd
I’ve always been the quiet geek in our group. Blake’s always tried to boss Lily, Dylan’s always tried to kiss her. Lily and I have always had a comfortable friendship.
But now we’re all grown-up. I’m the same nerd I always was, but my new app has gone viral. I could go anywhere—but I choose to be here in Silver Springs, with my brothers and Hot Wheels.
And with Lily.
Then her past—and all her insecurities—careens into Silver Springs and tries to wreck our new love.
Will the four of us finally fight for what we want—and win our happily-ever-after together?

This is book seven of the thirteen books taking place in the magical town of Silver Springs following Lily after an awful morning of running around on a wild goose chase just to be fired for the boss’s nephew to get the job. Then to add to the sundae of fun, Lily walks in one her boyfriend post hookup in the middle of then afternoon. Oh and let’s not forget about her grandpa breaking his arm causing her to go back to Silver Springs, but it’s not like she has much to leave behind at the moment.
“Just because something is beautiful and magical doesn’t mean it’s any less real.”
Shortly after being back in the town where she grew up, Lily runs into the three guys who were her friends all throughout their childhood until she left. She didn’t reunite with the all at once for she might have combusted from the rush of emotions she feels.
Throughout the book Lily struggles with her feelings for the guys and worries about not being the right person from them. She doubts that guy’s feelings aren’t real in fear of them just wanting something to case, the enchanted book she was gifted by a dog, and other things she’s never dealt with in the past.
Each of the guys have a different personality from being sweet and loving to observant and smart to leading and persistent, yet they all want Lily’s happiness and for her to be herself and not have to feel like she has to hid anything of her personality.
“I flipped to the end to make sure there was a happy ending. I knew it was a romance, but what if I’d picked up some terrible love story where, I don’t know, someone dies, or they all die, or she has to choose in the end?”
Just when Lily could start to see some semblance of happiness being back in Silver Springs with the guys. The life that she just left behind makes a visit. The ex boyfriend comes back to confront Lily about her being a shifter and try to get back with her. Brad, said ex boyfriend, could be the thing that exposes Silver Spring’ secret of being a sanctuary to the paranormal universe to the rest of the world. So, Lily feels likes it’s for the greater good to leave the little happiness she just found to come with a solution to save the town even if it means leaving again.
In this story Lily has to work through a lot of buried emotions to be able to fully live in the present, but that might not be enough when the universe keeps throwing curve balls at her.
The adventure in Silver Springs Continues with Tiger Lily. Lily is a cat shifter whose been cheated on by her now ex boyfriend and has been fired by her boss. When her grandfather falls and breaks his arm she goes back to Silver Springs to help him out and she thinks she just doesn’t fit in with the residents of SS. But when she gets the Famous Love Blooms book she meets Blake aka Mr. Bossy who convinces her to work with him and his brothers, Dylan aka Mr. Charming, and Archer aka Mr. Nerd at their auto shop. and everything goes from there with all three men wanting her and trying to get her over her insecurities. Will she take what she wants read and find out
A steamy paranormal reverse harem rom-com
Lily, a feline shifter, goes back to Silver Springs to help her Grandfather who pushes her to reconnect with Archer, Blake, and Dylan, all canine shifters and her childhood friends. As the story progresses a stroll down memory lane occurs, caution is required when magic gets involved, and letting the past go is not as easy as it should be. May Dawson’s Tiger Lily is a steamy paranormal reverse harem rom-com that will leave you wanting to read more about the antics of Silver Springs residents.
I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is an awesome read! I love Lily, as well as her guys, Blake, Archer, and Dylan. I loved the wittiness and humor of the story and thoroughly enjoyed the entire storyline. This book is an amazing addition the the Silver Springs Universe!
Who knew that throwing muffin at your boss will lead to your mate.
Don’t to this at home….but, this could happen.
Lily after loosing her job, throwing muffins and finding her boyfriend with naked girl had enough.
She moved to Silver Springs and then magic happened.
Enjoy this book! It’s funny, sexy and soo good.
This is my volunteer review on ARC.
This story was off to a great start and then it got even better. Classic coming home early and finding your other half isn’t where they should be. Running into old friends, new jobs and a muffin fight. This story has the same great world building as the rest of the series and it fits in so nicely with the others.
Another magical romance with plenty of laughs. These books always leave me with a smile and I can’t get enough of them. Silver Springs is beyond magical. You can pretty much expect anything to happen. Lily grew up there but believes she needed to make a life in the city instead. But it seems no matter what she does she will be back. Then there are the three men she grew up with. Best friends and her lifetime crushes. Too bad no of them ever gave love a chance. But one little book is about to change it all.
*Spoiler Alert*
Cats and Dogs dont mix right? Or they definitely seem to rub each other up the wrong way in this book. Lily (FMC Tiger shifter?) ends up back in Silver Springs after a series of unfortunate events which sees her end up working for effectively the boys next door (or they were when she was growing up) Blake, Archer & Dylan. The sexual tension between these four certainly steamed up my kindle. I loved the dynamic with Lily and the guys. Its a sweet relationship. Omg the banetr between Lily and her granddad made me laugh so much. I loved him. The Silver Springs Series of books are a bloody great read and ive yet to find one i dont like. This one is just a good
This is the first book I’ve read from May Dawson but it will not be the last. She brought a level of humor and fun that is rare in PNR. This book is laugh out loud funny but has a strong heart, romance and tale unique to the Spell Library/ Jewels Cafe series in the fictitious city of Silver Springs. I loved Lily’s wonderful, rough and still caring men of Hot Wheels Garage. I think Dylan is my newest book boyfriend.
This was a great story set in the amazing town of Silver Springs. I love how the other characters from the series fit into each others books.
I loved Lily as a character, she was honest and a loveable klutz. The guys were all so sweet and patient, how had they managed to wait for her for so long?
The story is great, as the guys try and convince Lily they’d be perfect for her without scaring her off. The banter between Lily and Blake was entertaining, Dylan was the loveable charmer and Archer is the sweetie.
I definitely recommend this book and the others from the series.
Fast Burn, Stand Alone PNR RH, MMMF, HEA
I have never read any of the other Spell Library Books, but after picking up this ARC, I am backtracking and indulging in the whole set!
This was a sweet Paranormal Romance, one that brought ‘once friends’ and ‘almost enemies’ together in the most delicious and sickeningly sappy type of way.
The Tiger Lily herself is snarky and a bit prickly, if incredibly insecure. Mind you, she has her reasons, and they make sense. Far too much sense, really. With a painful (though not horrific) past and recent slaps to both her heart and her pocket book, all she wants to do is go home and take care of her Grandfather – the man who raised her as his own and loved her through the trials and tears of her youth. Her granddad is the kind of papa anyone would love to have, fierce, determined, witty, loving and open…. if at times a bit lovingly deceitful. I adored him!
As for the guys? They are a pack of misfit dogs (really!) too perfect to really compare, and they all want Lily – they always have. It’s charming.
This book is a smile in print from, the kind of romance you read when you want your heart to grin and your teeth to hurt from the sweetness, even if there are a few raisins in the chocolate. It’s quick, delightful and a guaranteed HEA.
*I received an ARC of this book and am thrilled to share my honest opinion*
What an amazing run has it been so far! The first half of this new series was once more amazing. Of course, some books spoke a little more to me than others, but I really didn’t read a bad book so far. They were all interesting in their own way. And they were also all unique in their own way. One would say that after so many books of “girl drinks/reads something magical and then feels this attraction to her mates” it would get boring and yet it really doesn’t.
Tiger Lily is no different. Once more I’ve read a book that I really enjoyed from the very first page until the last and even now I still felt like the book brought something new to the table, an angle we hadn’t really seen in this series so far. This book was for the full hundred percent main character driven. There wasn’t some big plot with loads of action and breathtaking moments. Instead it was a delicate and lovely story of a girl who had to learn that she was lovable and that she didn’t need a spell for that, just a little courage.
I think that Lily is the kind of character everyone can recognize pieces of themselves in. Or, I think that most readers will see themselves mirrored in her. And therefore it’s easy, despite the fact that not that much is happening action wise, to feel for her, root for her and connect with her. I understood why she wasn’t sure if any of these things were real after figuring out that it all happened because of a spelled book. I understood why she pushed the guys away, what made her doubt their love for her and how real it was.
And, for a change, it was quite nice to have a less thrilling and dangerous plot. We got to see and learn a few new things about Silver Springs and this cute and heartwarming story really made me smile. Because it wasn’t too big or too heavy or too exciting, it was different and a nice breeze of fresh air. The kind of book you can read when you’re in a bad mood and exhausted and your brain refuses to take anything in. It’s the book you can read no matter the circumstances and that will always bring joy.
Loved this book! The books in this series just keep getting better. I love how she second guesses herself, all the time. I’m the same way! I love the intricacies between the characters, the push and pull. I cant wait to read more!!
I started out my Silver Springs adventures with Tiger Lily as an ARC and now I’m waiting for it to be sold and put on my kindle more permanently. Since reading Lily’s story I started from first the beginning of the Silver Springs Library Collection with Violet and worked my way through them all, then started on the Jewels Cafe stories.
I got a giggle when the story started and Lily started her book out with getting fired for her boss to hire his nephew, her throwing the muffin in her now ex-boss’ face and letting him know that everyone in the office hated him, then storming out as she took the cup of coffee that she paid for and packed her stuff and just left. Then she stumbled into the apartment she shared to find her jerk of a boyfriend cheating on her with him hiding the girl in the closet in her birthday suit!
Most of her life Lily believed she was a tiger and kept her animal under lock and key, but the situation with her now ex boyfriend just pushed her to the limit and she let her cat out of the bag so to speak, but what she finds out is that the tigress she believed she was, was something a little more tame and a lot smaller than she knew, but definitely firy when angry!
She calls her grandfather and finds out that he’s been hurt so she moves back to help him out for a little and then stumbles onto the three dogs that made her life miserable when she was a kid, had turned out to be hotty McHotstuffs and had opened their own garage in Silver Springs.
First her car breaks down and then her grandfather’s car, Willow has handed over Love Blooms to Lily and makes a promise that it changes lives. Boy does it change Lily’s, because after starting to read it she figures out along with the boys of her dreams and nightmares are her mates and they have all loved for as long as they have known her, exactly like she has loved them all that time.
As is want to happen in Silver Springs, mischief and mayhem break out, but with the help of the men in her life Lily finally learns to live and love herself and her men without measure and finds a passion and a talent for fixing cars. She hands Love Blooms over to Sage who is just coming to Silver Springs, with the same promise that Willow gave her and helped her fix her tire and sent Sage to get her car looked at by Lily’s men at Hot Wheels.
Lily’s book got me started on the Silver Spring Series and I’m hooked!!!! I definitely recommend this giggly, tear jerker of a story.
Another book in the Spell library series and it was a good one. We meet Lily and one day her whole world is turned upside down. Then she goes back to Silver Springs to check on her grandpa and deal with what happened to her. However, she does get the Love Blooms book and does not know what will happen when she reads it. She knows that everything happens in threes and she is waiting for the third thing to happen. Meet Blake, Archer, and Dylan who now own the Hot Wheels shop. They have a secret and she has a secret. Will they share their secrets? Will she go back to Scarborough or stay in Silver Springs? This book has a lot of emotion and fair warning I cried! I also laughed and blushed along with Lily. Will returning to Silver Springs help bring out the person she used to be? You don’t really realize how she feels until she says it. I am happy to say that we do get a happily ever after with some sass Lily style. May Dawson did not disappoint the Silver Springs Community with Tiger Lily. I now will be reading more of her work as well.
Lilly has everything going for her until one day she finds her self geting fired after her boss gives the job to his nephew. I loved how she reacted to it by throwing muffin crumbs over him and he ends up falling in his chair for everyone to see.things are not going well for her so she decides to go back to silver springs to see her grandfathers as he has broke his arm and decides to help him. He’s a bit of a character and brought some added charm to the story and had you loving him from the start. They seem to like playing the last word between each other and he has a thing for hotdogs and if he could get a way with it that’s all he would eat.I loved there bond they have between each other and that she would do anything for him. At one point she meets willow and ends up with the magical book(love blooms). not long after getting the book things start to happen first her car breaks down and she ends up meeting blake who owns hot wheels with two others she new as a child.I loved her reaction to him and the attraction she’s having towards him and how there always fighting with each other and how she ends up with not one but three attractions and how they would do anything for her.this book had everything I like in a story and I found my self laughing thro the hole thing and I couldn’t put it down and I loved how it kept me guessing.I loved the character old and new that appeared in the story and I love how each book follows on and I would definitely read more
Ahh! I loved this book! It was a really great read! I loved the romance of this book and the contrasting, but complementary MMCs. They all really blended well with each other and the FMC, Lily. But there was so much more than romance packed into this short book. We got to see Lily find herself again and come back from a crappy relationship. I thought is was great to see her personal growth. I have never read anything by May Dawson before, but I will definitely be reading more of her books.
May Dawson never fails to make me fall in love…and boy did I ever with this one. I am not sure who more though, Lily, the guys from Hot Wheels garage or her meddling grandpa!
Lily thinks she is having the worst day of her life, but it actually turns out to be the best….if she can just get out of her head long enough to have a conversation with her crushes from school. And the relationship with her grandpa is just priceless…. I absolutely loved it. I want to move to Silver Springs myself
This is such a light hearted and entertaining book to read! You gotta admit, that when things go down hill, they go DOWN hill! Even though Lily went downhill, she still had a quirky way of looking at things…it made me laugh reading all the various musings in her head.
I’m glad that Lily had the guys to help her get back on her feet…with all the chemistry, friendship and family banters…..super cool story!
Another fantastic addition to the series. I absolutely loved the interaction between Lily and her grandpa their witty banter was hilarious. Also Lily makes a needed transformation. It was great to see her go from unsure and insecure to confident and fierce. Made for a enjoyable and entertaining read. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
