It all began with her intoxicating scent… Tieris’ hands. Fending off a destructive enemy while trying to gain a mate for life wasn’t easy – it proved to be quite the challenge. He has to defend against an evil dragon-shifter who has devious plans for the shifter world.
He’ll keep her safe and destroy anyone who means harm to her.
He won’t let her go. He will put everything on the line for her!
Tieris is Book 1 in the Primal Impulse Shifters series.
more
This is book one in the new series by Ms. Romi Hart. What a fantastic way to start the series off. It is one that will keep you on edge and on your toes as the story evolves. There is plenty of danger, intrigue, attraction, chemistry and love. The characters are strong, stubborn and set in their ways which make for some feisty interactions. Of coarse when you are dealing with dragons all bets are off. Tieris is protective and alpha. Linda is a woman with insecurities about her looks and kinda wears her heart on her sleeve at times. I fell in love with her. She touched me on a personal level. This is a must read! It is worth every minute you take reading. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book from the author. I can not wait to get my hands on the next book!
Tieris is a dragon shifter in search with his brothers and some other shifters to find out what happened to the water in their lake. Linda is a book store owner with some self esteem issues. When Tieris comes across Linda he knows that he wants her. But will his attraction to her distract him from his mission or will she help him? Can he make her see that she is beautiful?
This is an amazing start for this series once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
Linda has very low self esteem and Tieris feels this primal excitement that she might be his mate and that he must do everything he can to protect her from harm. It has drama, suspense and intrigue , a recipe for another winner story. I honestly volunteered to review this story.
This shifter story has it all! Action, drama and suspense all tied together. Tieris is on vacation but that doesn’t stop the danger so when a threat pursues while he is trying to step up his game of getting to know Linda he rises to the call. Will he and his brother Mako be able to take down their foe and allow him to get his girl as well? This story draws you in and keeps you caught up in the story from start to finish. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Reminds me a little of G.A. Aiken’s Dragon Kin series
Linda, a cleaner that works on contract, has a run in with Tieris, a dragon shifter, at the bookstore she is cleaning. As the story progresses attraction is felt, unexplained events occur, and the cause of it all could tear everything apart. Romi Hart’s next shifter romance reminds me a little of G.A. Aiken’s Dragon Kin series, if it was set in modern times and settings. I am really looking forward to seeing were this goes.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Romi Hart is the master of paranormal romance and I totally love her Primal Impulse Shifters series. Enough that I totally binge read both Linda and Tieris’ tale on Book 1 and Crina and Zanthe’s story in Book 2. What makes these romances so wonderful is that they’d work in any setting, just as easily wonderful contemporary romance as they are wonderful paranormal romance. Also, clearly, totally addictive since I’ve been reading through the night. Highly recommended, too.
Romi appears to have moved into the world of paranormal romance her first series was excellent and if this as the first book in her latest series is any indication she is onto another winner.
Tieres is a dragon shifter who along with his brother Mako and two bear shifters Zanthe and Freedrick they have met are trying to find where the water from their lake has gone. What he doesn’t expect to find is Linda. She is a slightly overweight book store owner who has no idea how attractive she is. Can an all alpha slightly old fashioned dragon shifter win over the woman of his dreams or will he destroy it all with his alpha ways. You will have to read to see
The first book in the Primal Impulse Shifters series brings Tieris and Linda’s story. The author does a fantastic job bringing an action packed story filled with intrigue and danger as well as all the twists and turns along the way. She gives them a hot and steamy chemistry and delivers an entertaining read , bringing it to life with her perfectly painted scenes which she describes in detail. It’s a sweet love story with tons of action and had me glued to the pages reading. I’m looking forward to more to this series. Great start to a new series!

This is another start of a series by Romi Hart ,,,,,
Tieris and his brother Mako are dragon shifters they live in the realm of “The sons of Gandor” ,,,,, Tieris has long and flowing blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, his brother Mako is the opposite,,,, he has short cropped dark hair and satiny charcoal colored skin, his eyes remind you of a rich mug of coffee, thick dark lashes surrounded his soft eyes ,,,, Back in their realm, Tieris and Mako live in a castle that their father had built for them,,,, Their father is a dragon shifter, their mother a sorceress ,,,,, the boys have a problem, all the water that flows from their lake is gone and they need to find out where it’s gone,,,, they run into 2 Brown Bear Shifters, Zanthe of the Devine Forest and his brother, Freedrick,,,,, they are trying to help Tieris and Mako,,,,,, back in the world of the humans in Rome, Tieris smells this devine smell and walks into Moira’s Athenaeum only to finds an old acquaintance named Codut, an age old enemy of all shifters ,,, they have both picked up on the scent of the nice, young woman that is working there,,,, Tieris would really like to take this woman back and make many babies with him, turn her into a dragon shifter like himself,,,,, and the new laws in the last 100 years that says you can take a mate back to your realm and Tieris hasn’t done that yet, but would like to try ,,,, and this young lady is really not being cooperative,,,, but Tieris has to keep Linda safe from Codut,,,, but Linda doesn’t believe she needs his help,,,,
Linda is 32 with dark hair and eyes the color of a strong cup of coffee, caramel skin tone,,,, she has a roommate name Flora ,,,,, Linda is officially from New Jersey, USA , Father moved from there to Rome when she was only 5,,,, she has an older brother and sister, along with a younger sister, they were home schooled by Mom ,,,, Linda went thru St John’s University and graduated with a degree in Literary Arts and she really wanted to teach, but all she’s been a, ble to do us work in the bookstore,,,, and now she has found these 2 men in this bookstore that she is supposedly suppose to be getting her work done,,,, what she doesn’t know, is that Tieris has already marked her with his scent and the only thing that can get rid of that scenting is a Knight of Old, which Tieris has not found anywhere around Linda ,,,, but she has to admit, she is attracted to this Tieris, but there is something kinda strange about him,,,,
This was a great Book 1 of “The Primal Impulse Shifters” series,, followed up by the next book in this series Book 2 Zanthe ,,,,, these books have action, adventure and some very great chemistry between Tieris and Linda ,,,, I would definitely recommend this book and the beginning of this series to everyone,,,,,,
ONE INTENSE ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!!!
Holy hell! Romi’s kicking ass and taking names, marking off contenders and setting up the next round. A raging tempest of unbelievable events and unforseen circumstances, blasts those swirling emotions into play front and center. Skirting all the drama, distress, intrigue, turmoil, retribution and soaring suspense, keeps you riveted on a razors edge. Bumbling through the trials and tribulations, along with a boatload of shocking twists and stunning turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. Exhibiting impressive, well rounded scenario’s, that punch dead center, ramping up the exuberance and adrenaline with such intensity, blasting this baby into a tailspin with such an unbelievable culmination. The attraction and chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing an undeniable connection and amplifying affections, binding them to one another perfectly. The personalities are well matched and blended with enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow magnificently. Remarkable job Romi, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
LOVE CAN CHANGE OLD HABITS
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Tierus, a dragon-shifter meets Linda, a curvaceous human who has a very low self-esteem. Romi shows how Tierus’s old-fashioned ways keeps him from wooing Linda properly and shows how women had been worth nothing more than being a breeder. Getting Tierus into modern age thinking and fighting a nemesis and an old belief shows him that he can change.
Listening to and following the heart
Tieris (Primal Impulse Shifters Book 1) by Romi Hart is an interesting paranormal shifter romance with tons of emotional angst. Tieris is alpha, charming, alluring and alternately consumed by Linda then seemingly indifferent. Linda, a wholesome beauty who does not seem to recognize it, tries to hold Tieris at a distance, but can not.
Their chemistry is fiery and consuming until the inevitable happens and Tieris’s nature interferes with what could be.
Overall, I enjoyed the plot of this paranormal shifter romance. While it seems to leave a few things to the imagination of the reader, Linda still gets her HEA and Tieris finds his heart.
