Sexy, suspenseful #2 novel of the Mind’s Eye Series finds psychic detectives Levi Wolfe and Trudy Tucker facing a murderous, unknown foe who is determined to destroy everything beautiful in Levi’s life — including Trudy. Will Levi’s love claim her or kill her?
Levi and Trudy face a murderous, unknown foe who is determined to destroy everything beautiful in Levi’s life, including Trudy. Will Levi’s love claim her or kill her? – Their sex scenes continue to be hot. Levi is more open with Trudy about his past, and their feelings for each other grow. There is a stalker, drug addict friend, ex-lovers, and a murderer. This is another excellent read. Their story continues in books 3-6.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I dig Good Books.
This book follows on from book one, Through His Eyes, and you really do need to read that one first.
Levi returns home to find someone in his apartment. Said someone should not be there and is removed by force. She turns stalker and nasty towards Levi and Trudy. But someone else is out to get Levi, and Trudy’s life is at risk.
Full of suspense, romance and danger. Trudy’s power takes centre stage here. She is seeing things through the eyes of a murderer, much as she did in the first book, but it takes her w while to figure that out, since it mostly happens through her dreams.
I loved book one, and gave it 5 stars. But here, there was something missing and I can’t quite figure out what that was. It has the passion between Levi and Trudy, the drama, the thriller aspect too. I *think* its the lack of the paranormal aspects, Levi and Trudy’s power. This power makes them who they are, and yes, Trudy does have her moments, but they are few and far between.
Still, a good read, which leads nicely into book three, in a similar manner to book one leads into two, just not in such a throw-your-kindle-at-the-wall way!

Through His Touch #2 – This book picks up where Through His Eyes ended. Again, we’re dealing with relationship between the main characters. I was hoping this mess ended with Eyes, but there’s no time gap, so it’s right back in your face. I was hoping to get more from this story, but I quickly became bored again with both of the characters and started skimming again. A lot of the dialog was ridiculous and a big turn off. I just couldn’t careless about these two and their problems. He can’t be trusted and admits it.
I ask the author to review her books when I saw her fifth book in the series was available as an ARC; I forgot I had read and dislike Eyes. My apologies to Ms. Camp for this error. I tried to read this book on its own merits, but it mirrored Eyes too much. Oh, get this, the killer is caught, which was easily figured out from reading the story, but BoyWonder didn’t figure it out as quickly as the reader; not consistent with his talents. Again, I didn’t care for the vulgar language or the boring sex. 3*
Through His Eyes #1 – This is my first book by this author. Well written, but once the explicit sex started the story went down hill from there. It was mostly sex and the sexual attraction between the two main characters and their pathetic arguments over anything or nothing. Their work wasn’t mentioned much, but they were continuously arguing or angry, on top of all the sex. Boring!
I didn’t care too much for the vulgar language. I skimmed, from about 25 percent on, trying to find bits and pieces of their work to catch the killer. The killer is found but the story continues into another book, which I have zero interest in reading; this one was punishment enough. I promised to review it, although I don’t remember how I got this book anymore. I wished I knew what I was getting into before I volunteered. 2*
