The moment I saw her walk through the door of Forbidden Ink, I knew she was the one. With her wide hips, thick thighs, and perfect breasts, she’s every man’s wet dream. Add to that her dark, soulful eyes, pouty lips, and a body covered in gorgeous art, and I knew I needed to make her mine. She’s a walking contradiction of sass and strength and determination, hidden by insecurity and self-doubt. … insecurity and self-doubt. She’s everything I could ever want or need, but she doesn’t see what I see.
I want to take away her pain. To be the one to make her laugh, to make all her dreams come true. I need to prove to her that I’m not him, that no matter what, I’ll be right there beside her. Loving her.
If only she could see herself through my eyes, she would understand we were made for each other.

Nikki Ash never disappoints!
I can not stress this enough.
This novel touches on so many issues that we struggle with on a day to day basis.
Nikki Ash has created characters that are so realistic that you can’t help but feel their pain, joy and triumph.
This novel is for anyone, who at some point in their life has doubted themselves and thought they weren’t enough.
You are enough!
A must read and definitely a reread
3.5 Stars
I really liked the premise of this story. I loved the confidence that Lachlan worked to instill in Quinn. I didn’t feel as connected to the characters as I would have liked, but overall, I really liked the story!
I absolutely loved this book. This book focused on a topic that I think all of us as women feel. Am I good enough? The answer is yes, but we don’t always see that ourselves. Quinn was such a damaged woman from her past and Lachlan was every woman’s dream man. This book gets 10 stars from me!
Lachlan and Quinn are unputdownable! Their story is full of emotion, laughter, tears, anger, and tons of love. What a fantastic job Nikki Ash did with Quinn and Lachlan’s story. I was immediately drawn in and fell in love with these characters. Quinn was dealt a horrific hand with her marriage to Rick, the only good part being she got Kinsley who is such a sweet little firecracker of a girl. Lol. Lachlan was so patient and determined, their love was beautiful. Their story is filled with tons of emotions, I laughed, cried, was ticked off, and thrilled with their HEA. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
I loved everything about this book it was a fabulous read that I thoroughly enjoyed! I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself!
Through His Eyes is one of my favourite reads of 2019. It has such a strong and beautiful message for everyone who thinks they are not enough and are struggling in life. Quinn is a single mother who has been through the ringer with her previous relationship and often feels like she is stumbling through life. She feels beat down and worn out and that her looks are less than desirable. When she meets the new employee at her brother’s tattoo shop, things begin to change. When Lachlan meets Quinn, he has an instant attraction to her. He doesn’t see any of her perceived “flaws”. He thinks she is beautiful and doesn’t care about their age difference. All he cares about is making Quinn his and being the best dad he can to her little girl. It was so moving to see how patient and caring Lachlan was with Quinn and the way Lachlan was with Kinsley was heartwarming. This book shows that looks and age don’t really matter. When you love someone, you love them wholeheartedly for who they are. I highly recommend this book.
Loved this book! Quinn has been dealt a crappy hand. Just when she finally finds the strength to want to leave her world crashes. How can she do it alone?
Fast forward 5 years Quinn is a single mother figuring life out. Lachlan is intrigued by Quinn and won’t take no for an answer. Will she be able to see what is in front of her? Will he help her to find herself again?
Awesome book! Look forward to more from this author!
Nikki Ash wows readers again with Through His Eyes! In Ash’s new release, she tells a story of a women who has been utterly broken finding love again through the eyes of the man who not only heals her heart but replaces some of it with his own.
Quinn was a characters I have anxiously awaited since Ash has been writing her New York based romances Imperfect Love Series. Although Quinn is a side character that we previously met during On The Surface, this single parent romance can completely be read as a standalone. Ash has a knack for her single parent romances. So it’s no surprise to find yet another wonderful love story that heals all wounded hearts. Lachlan and Quinn are sweet, romantic and a slow burn of chemistry that is absolutely unputdownable (is that even a word?!?) Whether it was her chance at regaining her self again or his consistent and constant pursuit of her, Ash had me hooked until the very end.
I loved this story! Every woman wants that one person that builds you up and makes all those bad feelings go away. This story did all of that and more! This is the story I have been waiting for in this series and it didn’t disappoint! Lachlan is a kind caring man who knows what he wants and goes after it. Quinn is trying to find herself after a disastrous marriage. Together they are amazing! Amazing job!
Lachlan, please love me. This book is everything I wanted it to be. A handsome hero with an accent that knew from the word go that he had met someone who would rock his world and a heroine slowly regaining herself as she saw herself through new eyes, his eyes. Add in a spitfire 5-year-old and characters I already loved from Nikki Ash’s previous books and I was in heaven. I enjoyed the pacing of the relationship and the way they overcame obstacles like the adults they were, discussing the problem and listening to each other. Now, please excuse me while I plan a trip to Galway, Ireland to find my Lachlan.
What is not to love about Through His Eyes! The love story betweem Lachlan and Quinn is EVERYTHING!! It feels as if I have been waiting “forever” for Quinn to have her HEA. Lachlan is my new swoon worthy book boyfriend and can we talk about little sassy Mini-Q!!!! She is just too cute. If you love a single parent story that will give you all the feels…. then Through His Eyes is your kind of read! Happy Reading!!!!
This book… what can I say except you will feel this book in your soul. Reading about this woman that has been told nothing but negative things begin to come out of her shell and feel strong and confident. Age is nothing but a number and love is stronger than anything else in this world.
I have been reading this series since the beginning and with each book I love it more and right now Lachlan owns my heart.
This was a beautiful story that teaches us, women, that we don’t have to beg or change for someone. There is someone out there that appreciates our value as a woman.
“You picked up the pieces of my heart, and when you saw it couldn’t be fixed, you gave me parts of your own to make me whole.”
I enjoyed reading their story and even loved Quinn insecurities because that’s how she realized Lachlan was for her.
” I know, but it was through your eyes, I was able to finally see that I’m enough. ”
From the moment I started reading, I couldn’t stop, just like it was for Lachlan and Quinn, I fell in love with their story right away.
“What can I even give you?” I blurt out. “I have nothing to give.”
“All I want and need is you.”
I can’t even deal with all the feelings I felt when reading this story. Quinn was one of the strongest women I can remember reading.
– Did she show weakness? Yes.
– Did she hide away and not allow others to help her? Again, yes.
– Did she retreat within herself and put up a very solid wall between herself and the world? Yep.
In all this, the one thing she never did was quit. Especially when she knew that someone else relied upon her to keep going. I loved that in spite of everything, she still became successful gave her all to those who needed her, and never quit. At every turn in the story I could physically feel her pain each time she retreated into herself and allowed her fears & insecurities to take hold. Although her circumstances were much different than any of mine, her insecurities seemed to be coming directly out of me. What do I have to offer someone? Why would they ever choose me when there are so many better options out there?
Lachlan is hands down, one of my top ten book men ever. I’ve read many books, a lot of romance, and I am picky regarding my likes and dislikes at this point. Lachlan, though, is amazing. Seriously, if I could climb inside this book world and find him, I’d do it. This man, although young in comparison to Quinn and the other characters, definitely knows himself. This, I think, was one of my favorite of his qualities – he unapologetically followed his own path.
“My mom always told me when I met the woman I want to spend my life with, I’ll just know. I’m not saying it’s you, but at the same time, I’m not saying it isn’t. I want to get to know you. You intrigue me, and I’m not about to let something as stupid as an age difference deter me.”
This story was one of absolute beauty. I loved to see a woman who had been put down for so long be lifted up. Not only was there beauty in Quinn finding herself, but to see everyone in this world really stick together and make their own family full of happiness.
“It’s easier to fight the monster you know than to take on the one you’ve never seen.”
This book dealt with heavy issues with such grace and humility.
So many women..too many women are in this situation.
Quinn was lucky to have a great support system. Many women do not.
I loved every aspect of this book. I wish there were more men like Lachlan.
This is absolutely a must read book!

Would I read more from the author? Yes
Would I recommend this book? 100% yes
Quinn is a single mom with strength but also insecurities. Lachlan is Irish, bearded, a tattoo artist and younger than Quinn. He finds Quinn hot and sexy and doesn’t care about her age or that she has kids. Quinn has been through much in her life. Can this sexy man show her a different way and that she is enough for him? A great read and a definite recommend.
Wow just wow single mom not only that older women younger man story! This emotional standalone is all about our girl Quinn the younger sister of Jax & Jace. Lachlan works for her brothers and he sees her walk in the shop can he repair this single moms heart?
Such a good book. I read it all in a day between work, kids and life. Lachlan comes into Quinn’s life after she was broken by a previous marriage. The way he helps her put her heart back together and let him in. I’m a huge romantic so it really hit every spot to me.
4.5 very close to 5 You are enough STARS!
When I started this book, I didn’t think I was going to like the direction it was going to take or rather the direction I thought it would take. Just reading the first couple of pages had me thinking this would be too brutal and I’m really new to this author’s writing so I got scared maybe it might not be done correctly or up to my standards. Well, clearly I was wrong. DEAD WRONG. Just wow
Nikki Ash created two perfect people who lifted each other up and allowed them hope for a future. The story read easy for me but yet it was emotionally charged thru every page. I think that’s because even tho Quinn had so much self-esteem baggage inside her head, she was still so damn strong and powerful. So instead of my heart hurting for her, it soared. This story was so much more than just a romance journey. It was a growth. It was an empowerment. It was … just wow.

I have followed Nikki Ash’s writing since the beginning. I have loved every book she has put out there. But with this story, Quinn and Lachlan’s story, she has outdone herself.
At 10 %, not even having met Lachlan, I knew that this one would kill me. And boy did it!
There is a rather large chance, that you will get a single parent book, when you pick up a Nikki Ash book and Through His Eyes is one of them. There is a reason for the reoccurring trope. Her love for this trope shines through in her ability to write the cutest kids on this planet, and between these pages lives Kinsley, the life of this book.
So if you are into single parent books, love/lust at first sight, strong believable characters and an absolutely amazing story, look no further, this one is it!
