“Flirty, dirty, and downright irresistible! Breezie Bennett’s books sizzle like a steamy Florida night.”- Kresley Cole, #1 New York Times Bestselling AuthorThrill Ride: South Florida Riders Book 4NFL kicker Dylan Rivera and quirky yoga teacher Melody Hayes have absolutely nothing in common, except they both believe in “one true love.” But when they are forced to live together for one month before … love.” But when they are forced to live together for one month before Melody takes off for her dream job on a cruise line, they can’t resist the thrill that comes when two opposites attract and ignite.
Dylan:
Look, I get that it’s cheesy, but I know there is one woman who was put on earth only for me. I just haven’t found her yet. So, when I wake up next to a pink-haired ray of human sunshine after a wild night at a South Florida Riders party, I know Melody Hayes is the one…the one I better avoid at all costs. Sure, she’s kinda irresistible with all that optimism and cheeriness and a body that brings me to my knees — literally, on her yoga mat — but this eccentric beauty isn’t the soul mate I’ve been expecting. But now she’s crashing at my place and no matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to keep her out of my bed. And the more she lights up my life in ways I didn’t think possible, the more I’m dreading our inevitable goodbye.
Melody:
When the universe speaks, I listen. But what the hell is the universe saying when it floods my apartment in the middle of my unexpected one-night fling with a smokin’ hot football player? I guess it’s saying move in with him, and why not? Dylan is totally crush-worthy, no matter how hard he tries to hide his sweet heart under all those tough muscles. Besides, it’s only temporary. I’m on my way to a new life and nothing can stop me from fulfilling my destiny…unless my destiny is a man who is making me ignore all the signs and fall in love.
The South Florida Riders Series:

This book was another fun installment of the great romance series. You’ve got to love these sweet guys and their ladies. Dylan’s story did not disappoint. Great book.
You HAVE to read Dylan and Melody’s love story! Great characters with witty banter and steamy moments that all blend together to create the next book in the Florida Riders series. Another great HEA from Breezie that won’t let you down.
The South Florida’s Riders series keep getting better and better. During this last week I binge read the past books getting ready for its fourth installment and definitely it was worthy. Thrill Ride starts with our protagonists dealing with the morning after of hook-up. Their chemistry is intense and instantaneous and although their views are from opposite ends of what we can called the spectrum, both believe in the existence of that “one”. Melody Hayes is the pure definition of a free spirit: bohemian, pink haired yogi, and the cousin/confidante to Whitney from Easy Ride. Dylan Rivera is the kicker for the Riders, a very logical, matter of fact kind of guy. It is basically a new adult, opposite attract story but with so much more.
Melody follows the clues that a psychic gave her once, Dylan works with what life deals to him and do his best to make her see that they’re made for each other. Their journey is filled with mishaps like an flooded condo, endless team banter (Dylan is the kicker and former soccer player) and family; bottom line, they’re two characters that need to let loose a bit of their own believes if they want to move forward as the newest Rider’s couple.
Breezie Bennett weaves a sexy, engaging, funny story full of life and the essence of Florida. Although this is book #4 of the South Florida Rider’s series, it could be read as a stand alone book but I’ll encourage you to take a chance and read all the previous books for maximum enjoyment and to follow the breadcrumbs that so cleverly gives us a bit of what the future look for to these players, their partners and families. I’m really looking forward to the next installment of this franchise.
Rating: 4.5 shinning stars.
I received ARC but these are my sincere, objective thoughts and opinion.
*I received an arc from the author, Breezie Bennett*. Thrill Ride is book four in the South Florida Rider series & what an incredible book it was!! This is kicker, Dylan Rivera & Melody Hayes (Whitney’s cousin from Easy Ride) book with a complete opposites attract theme. Melody is a free spirit yoga instructor & Dylan is more straight laced. Their journey begins with a one night stand after the Riders Christmas Party & with Melody then moving in with him because of a flood at her place. Melody is fighting her feelings for him because the “signs” are saying he isn’t “the one” & Dylan is doing the same because she just isn’t his type & couldn’t be “the one” for him. You will love these two characters & their journey to their HEA that they so deserve! You will also love the supporting characters (Dylan’s parents) & seeing the characters from the first three books. The more you read of this series of this series, the more you will love the Riders & their significant others. So looking forward to Andre Smoke’s book & catching up with all the others! A definite must read!!
ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars
Thrill Ride is book 4 in the South Florida Riders by Breezie Bennett and another great read by this up and coming new author.
Dylan and Melody are opposites in every way but both believe there is “only one true love and soul mate”…but after spending a steamy hot one night together Dylan knows he needs to stay away. Circumstances change when he takes her home and her place is flooded…he offers her a place to stay and sparks ignite!
Is this a short term affair or will they discover they are destined to be together for always?
At first I was not to sure of this one. But almost immediately fell in love Melody although I was yelling at her “THAT’S THE SIGN!” And Dylan oh my goodness! I wanted to put some glasses on him so he could see Melody. I could not put this book down. Seriously read it in one sitting. Melody is so quirky and I loved her to pieces. And Dylan is so straight laced, it totally made sense to bring them together. This was another big hit in my book for Breezie!
*I did receive this book as an ARC for my honest review*
Dylan and Melody couldn’t be more different, but that’s what makes this story click. Melody is one of the sweetest, quirkiest, loveable characters I’ve met. She is charming and her bubbly, positive personality can’t help but make everyone fall in love with her. She’s determined to find “the one” that destiny has selected for her….and it certainly can’t be a football player who thinks everything she believes is “cute” but totally ridiculous. Dylan knows there’s a special someone out there just for him, but he’s a bit oblivious that perhaps Melody is that special someone. The interplay between the characters, Melody’s sweet personality and willingness to help everyone and the secondary characters that help develop the story makes this book an entertaining read.
Thrill Ride by Breezie Bennett is a fun ride for sure. A love story about how opposites attract is a fun and sweet story about Dylan, a straight laced kicker for a professional football team and Melody, a pink haired yoga instructor. After a one night of passion she goes home to find her apartment flooded. Dylan offers his apartment to Melody and crazy happiness occurs. Really enjoyed this book and it’s positive message about friendship and love. And to top all that off is the hope to have one of the side characters, Andre have his own story next. I’m satisfied and happy.
This series keeps getting better and better. I really enjoyed this book and of course Dylan and Melody made it even better. I liked how this story started and the ups and downs these two went through and of course Melody and her ‘signs’. I loved watching Dylan and Melody but also how Melody helped Dylan’s dad and in turn Dylan’s relationship with his dad and Dylan’s dad’s relationship with his wife. Of course, I always enjoy checking in with our friends and meeting new ones. I totally loved when Melody had the surprise for Dylan at the division semifinals, what a huge gift that was for Dylan and his family. I did like how this story ended with Dylan and his teammates “fixing’ or “trying to fix’ things for Melody and of course her finally realizing that the ‘signs’ she had misinterpreted, and she had found ‘the one’. My favorite line from this story was, ‘There’s no such thing as a lost cause. Every soul can be found again’. Really great book! I’m very intrigued to read the next story about Andre Smoke and see what he’s all about.
This sucked me right in. Dylan and Melody have a special connection that just filled me with joy and kept me reading right through the grand finale that was like an explosion of rainbows and sparkle. I was laughing and sighing at the beauty of it all. I’m still smiling.
Great opposites attract love story. Dylan and Melody are both searching for their “fated mates,” but they never thought their one night hookup would be the real deal. Well written and fun. Readers will want more of the South Florida Riders.
Melody and Dylan’s love story in Thrill Ride by Breezie Bennett, book four in her South Florida Riders series, was another wonderful, sexy, and enjoyable tale that scores another touchdown. NFL kicker Dylan Rivera and spiritualist/yoga teacher Melody Hayes had absolutely nothing in common except for a belief in there being a “one true love” or soul mate. Yet, these two set the sheets afire after a night together. When Melody’s home is uninhabitable, Dylan agrees to let her live with him for the month she has before leaving for a dream job on a cruise ship. These two opposites had a magnetism that attracted one another, and ignited a flame that made them forget all their differences. The universe decided that these two were soul mates, his yang to her yin, her light to his darkness, a perfect fit. As departure day was approaching, both Melody and Dylan were dreading their goodbye; hoping that destiny and the universe would step up and intervene.
Ms. Bennett wrote a fun, flirty, sexy sports rom-com that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sexual chemistry, humor, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Melody and Dylan a chance to discover that although it appeared they were opposites they were actually soul mates and meant to have a future together. I highly recommend Thrill Ride to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series.

I cannot get enough of this series! Seriously, I can’t put these books down once I start. I love the characters, the dialogue, the storyline. It is just a fun read. I loved Dylan and Melody because they were so opposite but that’s what made them perfect together. Dylan is the kicker for the South Florida Riders and Melody is a free spirited yoga teacher. This story proves that opposites attract.
Book 4 of the South Florida Riders doesn’t disappoint. I am getting attached to this team more and more every book. You know they are like extended family from the first book. Dylan and Melody keep me entertained from page one with every sign and laugh. We met Melody in Easy Ride as the cousin of Whitney. She is a bubbly optimist woman who believes in signs form the universe. The one night she spent with the Rider’s kicker isn’t a sign about her next adventure on a cruise ship but the flooding of her townhouse has to be. Dylan knows that even though they both agree it was a one time thing and they are complete opposites he can’t just leave her homeless for the month before she leave on her dream job.
This is one of my favorite opposites attract stories. Can’t wait to see what Breezie has in store for us next.
Thrill Ride is kicker Dylan Rivera’s story. I have to say he has been pretty low-key so far, so I was super excited to learn more about him. I’m just going to say right here, I totally love the opposites attract troupe, and Melody Hayes is as far opposite of Dylan as one can get. OMG though the smoking hot chemistry between these two had me staying up super late so I could read more of their story.
Dylan is pretty set in his ways. He is convinced he will know “the one” when he meets her and compares all romances to his parents as he saw them growing up. Melody is as far from his idea of “the one” as any woman could be, yet he is totally and completely drawn to her. When she unexpectedly needs a place to stay, Dylan offers up his apartment for the short-terms since she is leaving in a month for a new job. Seriously they were the cutest couple/non-couple ever trying to stay away from one another. Their connection was so much more than chemistry from the very beginning, and it was such a fun journey to each other.
Melody is a yoga instructor who follows her own path based upon signs from the universe. I have to say she could be pretty out there with her thought process, but her enthusiasm and love of people and helping people totally won me over. Seriously, she is one of the most giving characters I’ve ever read. I loved she helped Dylan be a bit more spontaneous and take things much less seriously. Their differences completely worked for me. Honestly while I loved them as a couple and seeing them figure out how much they loved one another, my favorite part of this story was Melody stepping up to help out Dylan’s father. Her heart for giving was so strong and her path, while unconventional was the perfect one for this story.
I swear I fall more in love with this series with each new book. I absolutely adore Breezie Bennett’s voice and impatiently await her next book. Thrill Ride is the perfect book for contemporary romance fans, and especially for those who love the opposites attract troupe.

Dylan Rivera believes in “the one” and “soul mates” but the yoga instructor with the pink hair is definitely not “the one”! After a really hot one night together they both agree that they are polar opposites and there is nothing there for them. When Melody Hayes’ apartment is flooded, Dylan makes the offer for her to stay with him until she leaves to take a job on a cruise ship in a month. Of course while living there Melody turns his life upside down in a cute, fun, crazy and sexy way! Dylan doesn’t know what has hit him.
Thrill Ride is book 4 in the South Florida Rider Series and is a great addition to these stories of a group of football playing guys finding their true love and happy ever after. Ms. Bennett has done a great job with this story, as the plot is fun, has lots of laughter, sexiness and great dialogue. It is also nice to find out what Chase, Leo, Elliott are all doing and also get introduced to a new guy coming to the team. I happily recommend this story as well as the entire series.
Dylan believes he will know when he finds his one true love. Melody believes she will see a sign when she finds her fated mate. There they are looking at each other and all they see are their differences. She thinks she needs to be a yoga instructor on a cruise ship to find her true love. Dylan thinks his true love should be more like him not some out there yogi. Sometimes opposites do attract. Will they figure it out before she leaves for her cruise?
Another fun football romp. I enjoyed the book.
Dylan Rivera is the kicker for the South Florida Riders. Melody Hayes is a ditzy, pink-haired yoga instructor. They only meet because Melody’s cousin becomes engaged to a Rider and they both attend the same party. They have nothing in common – nothing but intense chemistry. Oh, and they both believe there is “one true love” for everyone.
They have a one-night stand. They are very different, and for some reason the passionate & fiery differences make them want to tear each other’s clothes off. So, Melody goes home with Dylan and spends the whole night.
Melody’s water heater picks that night to burst and flood her apartment. The ceiling is caving in, her furniture is ruined, she must find somewhere else to stay until repairs are made. Although she looks for “signs’ in everything, she does not see this as a sign she should be with Dylan. In fact, she sees everything as a sign she should not be with Dylan. When he finally realizes that she is “the one” for him, he has to fight to convince her that what they feel (and she does feel it too) is real.
AND, another Rider bites the dust. They are becoming real family men. Fortunately, there is a new defensive lineman being traded to the Riders so there will be a fresh character for the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.
Thrill Ride is a classic opposites attract, boy meets girl, boy bangs girl, girl moves in novel. The alternating first person POV will annoy some readers, but Bennett’s narrative keeps the story flowing. Sports fans will enjoy this latest installment in her Riders series.
I loved Thrill Ride by Breezie Bennett, the fourth book in the South Florida Riders series. I could not put it down and loved every page. Who doesn’t love an opposites attract love story. I know I love them, especially if they include super hope heroes. Thrill Ride truly delivered a sizzling opposites attract love story. I love the characters the Breezie creates and the settings she describes. I received an ARC of Thrill Ride for an honest review. I can honestly say, that Breezie Bennett and Thrill Ride did not disappoint and that Breezie has once again written an incredible rom com about sexy football stars. When I read the sizzling hot stories, I sometimes have to remind myself that Breezie Bennett is still somewhat of a newcomer in the romantic comedy genre, but you could never tell by the way she writes and the complex characters and fascinating plots she creates. Thrill Ride is the story of the super hot and sexy kicker of the South Florida Riders, Dylan Rivera and Melody Thomas, unconventional yoga instructor and supposed one night stand. I love the humor between Dylan and Melody and all the nicknames they call each other. Dylan is looking for the one, and he is convinced that this pink haired yoga instructor, who is always looking for signs from the universe and psychic readings in search of her “fated mate”. Disaster awaits Melody when Dylan drives her home after their one night together. Dylan feels obligated to offer Melody a temporary place to live since he was the reason she was not home and could have possibly averted some of the damage. Melody just accepted a job as a yoga instructor on a luxury cruise line based upon a reading from Psychic Angela, so she tells Dylan that they cannot get involved. Nothing can interfere with her message from the universe. Not to mention, that Melody does not have an affinity to professional athletes. Try as they might, sparks still fly between these opposites. I love how there was a story within the story, and how Breezie Bennett clears up all the difficulties. I love how the Dylan and Melody evolve throughout the book. Just when Dylan comes to think that perhaps Melody could be “the one”, disaster strikes again. I always love the bittersweet moments in Breezie Bennett’s book and the plot twists that she so effortlessly unravels. I love all the surprises that are exposed in the story. I love catching up with all the other football players and their women in series. It’s like going home. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and once again Breezie Bennett has once again proven she is a force to be reckoned with in the rom com genre and an amazing storyteller. My favorite part is how she introduces the subject of her next hero. Cannot wait to read Andre Smoke’s adventure, I am sure it will be smokin’ hot.
