In the first book of her dazzling new series, bestselling author Ella Quinn introduces the soon-to-be Earl and Countess of Worthington–lovers who have more in common than they yet know. The future promises to be far from boring… her beloved siblings, and surely no sane gentleman will take on seven children not his own. But if she can have one anonymous tryst with Mattheus, Earl of Worthington, Grace will be content to live out the rest of her life as a spinster.
Matt had almost given up hope of finding a wife who could engage his mind as well as his body. And now this sensual, intelligent woman is offering herself to him. What could be more perfect? Except that after one wanton night, the mysterious Grace refuses to have anything to do with him. Amid the distractions of the Season he must convince her, one delicious encounter at a time, that no obstacle–or family–is too much for a man who’s discovered his heart’s desire…
“Oh, the tangled webs we weave…especially when our hearts are involved. Three Weeks to Wed is a delightfully heartwarming escape into the sparkling world of the Regency. Ella Quinn weaves magic.” –Cathy Maxwell, New York Times bestselling author

This book was a really good read.
Could not put this book down!
Loved this story! Read entire book in one evening. Couldn’t put it down.
Love this book & the entire series!
If you enjoy chaos you’ll enjoy the courtship of a couple who are given a second chance. Sex, children..last count eleven, 2 Great Danes, a stepmother, 2 tutors, 2 houses with duplicate butlers, housekeepers, cooks, various maids, livery, etc. and an evil uncle.
How can two households manage to merge and keep their sanity? Love is the glue that holds everything together. Hilarious romantic regency with a sexy as hell Earl who won’t give up.
Lady Grace Carpenter has been visiting a cousin & on the way home has to spend the night in an inn because of bad weather. Whilst there another traveller arrives, Mattheus, Earl of Worthington, the man Grace was infatuated with during her Season several years ago. She decides to behave in a way totally alien to her & offer herself to him for a night.
Matt had almost given up hope of finding a wife who could engage his mind as well as his body. And now this sensual, intelligent woman is offering herself to him.
Grace doesn’t give her name & leaves early the next morning.
Matt is devastated & needs to find the woman he wants to marry.
Grace & Matt find themselves in London for the debut of their sisters Charlotte & Louisa & Matt’s pursuit is on!
I loved Matt, who wouldn’t a gorgeous man who truly loves & takes part in his siblings’ lives. Grace I found it harder to warm to, she was commendable for raising her siblings but not keen on her martyrdom for them.
A straightforward romance with only a little intrigue. I loved Mary.
Overall an enjoyable romance that introduced us to characters that will hopefully have their own stories
Putting aside the likelyhood of sexcapades of our main couple during such a strict time in history, the story was nontheless delightful. It reminded me of “Please don’t eat the Daisies”, but much more fun. Grace has been in love with Matt since her comeout years before, but because of multiple tragedies in her family she believes herself in a position to never marry. They get stuck in an inn during a storm and she takes the opportunity to seduce him thinking it will be the only chance she’ll ever have and then disappears early the next morning. He fell in love with her immediately and knew she was the one. Now he just had to find her and convince her to marry him. The story was a fun read; I loved their huge family. It even threw in a little mystery as well. Will probably read the rest of the series as well.
I love the author and this book, really almost all of her books
Grace Carpenter and Mattheus Vivers met on a rainy day when they both needed to set up at an Inn.
Matt did not remember her, but Grace had fallen in love at first sight with him when she saw him on her debut a few years ago.
Now Grace was engaged. Not with another gentleman but with the life she had promised her mother when she died after the birth of her last child.
Grace had promised that she would keep the family together. There were 7 brothers in all.
Grace; Charlotte (18); Charlie (16); Walter (14); Alice and Eleanor (12); Philip (8) and Mary (5).
With her parents’ death, she was responsible for them, after a hard court battle.
Family members pledged to care for her siblings separately, and this was not the wish of Grace’s mother.
The grandfather then helps her also being the guardian of the grandchildren, but Grace would be responsible for raising them.
She knew no man would want to marry her with such responsibility. Besides, with the marriage, she would lose her siblings’ guard to her husband.
But Matt was a different man.
Yes, when he finally knew who Grace was and her life, he was frightened, but he was hopelessly in love with her, and what would be eleven children in his life?
Did I say ELEVEN?
Ah, I forgot to say that since his father’s death, Matt, the Earl of Worthington, was responsible for his stepmother and half sisters. Four.
Louisa(18); Augusta (15); Madeline (12) and Theodora (8).
And we must not forget that each family has its own dog.
But beyond a full house, Grace would have to face the villainy of an unsatisfied uncle for not having received his share in the inheritance.
A fun – noisy story – and full of twists.
5 stars
I thought this book was wonderful! This is the first book to read in this series. I thought this story was liberating and intelligent! This book was my 2nd exposure to Ella Quinn. I’ve read all of her regent historical romance books. A must read!!
