Three Sisters Catering Trilogy (Three Sisters Catering #1-3) was a great read by Bethany Lopez. This box set consists of; A Pinch of Salt, A Touch of Cinnamon, and A Splash of Vanilla. These books follow three sisters; Millie, Tasha, and Dru; finding love. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Bethany Lopez.
I have only read the first book. Entertaining.
A Pinch of Salt:
A Pinch of Salt is off to a great start in the Three Sisters Catering series. I devoured this book in one sitting. Millie and Jackson story is so real, meaningful, memorable and hot. Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster ride.
A Touch of Cinnamon:
A Touch Of Cinnamon is the second book in the Three Sisters Catering series. You’ll want to read A Pinch of Salt first. We get to see things progress with other characters, not that you’ll be confused but why not have the background of Tasha & Jericho. I freaking love Tasha and Jericho. What an amazing couple and characters. They are my favorite. This story captivated me from the beginning till the end.
A Splash of Vanilla:
What a perfect ending to this series! I am sad to see it end but sounds like Bethany has something else up her sleeves and I can’t wait so it may not be the complete end of the Three Sisters Catering. I loved the emotion that could be felt between Dru and Mick. I am trying to keep this spoiler free. So read A Splash of Vanilla!!
I love these sisters. Their stories and HEA are definitely one you don’t want to miss.
This box set book cover is beautiful.
A PINCH OF SALT:
I thoroughly enjoyed this fun & light-hearted story!
Bethany is a genius at creating characters that are so dang lovable! Millie & Jackson are perfect examples of that. I felt as if they were my good friends that I’ve known forever. I could easily picture myself hanging out with them. By adding real life situations to this story, the author made it easy to put myself inside the pages and into the characters’ world and feel everything they were feeling.
This book is full of amazing secondary characters, and I immediately fell hard for them, as well. We get to meet Millie’s sisters, who all run the catering business together, and also Jackson’s friends, who teach at the same school. I cannot wait for more stories from these characters!
Pinch of Salt has the right amount of (light) drama, a perfect dose of humor, and just enough steam to give you all the tingles. A perfect beginning to what will be an amazing series!
A TOUCH OF CINNAMON:
Loved this so much! It was fun, it was sweet, and it was fan-yourself steamy in all the right places. Holy hot Jericho!
This is book two in the series and it gave me everything I needed. It was so easy to fall in love with this cast of characters all over again. After reading book one, I couldn’t wait for Tasha’s story, eager to find out what was up with the hot restaurant owner across the street. So much tension between the two!
In this book, we get the backstory and the reasons why Jericho and Tasha find it difficult to be in the same room together. They have a history, and we finally get the answers we need.
I love the writing style of this author. She makes the story so easy and fun to read. I can’t help but wish I could crawl into the pages and be a part of it. And I feel like this group of friends are MY friends that I’ve known for years.
I adore this series and I cannot wait for the next book!!
p.s. How cute are the covers in this series?!? They are so unique and ADORABLE!
A SPLASH OF VANILLA:
I absolutely loved this! This series just keeps getting better and better. A Splash of Vanilla is the third book in the Three Sisters Catering series – a perfect addition.
Sexy detective Mick is quiet, strong, keeps to himself, gets his job done. He’s good at what he does. Dru is one of the three sisters that runs Three Sisters Catering. Hiring Mick to find her father, Dru keeps it a secret from her two sisters. They (Millie & Tasha) had no desire to find him. He left them all when they were young, without a backward glance, and started another family. But Dru needed closure. Well, they find him, and she’s hugely disappointed. Finding out what a POS her father really is, Mick stands up for her, protectiveness taking over. *cue swooning*
The chemistry between Mick and Dru is hot, there’s no doubt they want each other. But they can’t be together, because she’s a client. So then, when Mick’s job is done and Dru is no longer a client? Look out because she goes after what she wants. So strong and confident, yet vulnerable when she decides to put herself out there and face possible rejection.
This story was a perfect mixture of heart, humor, and steam – making this a very enjoyable read for me. The cast of characters is so much fun – like a naughtier version of the television show Friends. And I have to mention – Mick’s mom was adorable & sassy! I loved how much Mick loved her and took care of her.
Mick & Dru’s story was a page-turner, making me smile a lot. I never wanted to put it down. If you’ve read the first two books, you’ll definitely want to read this one!
I liked this book very much. The girls were so close and took such good care of one another. They chose wonderful partners that loved and complimented them. Their father appeared to be a bit of a beast and so I look forward to seeing how much damage was done to the step brothers who had the misfortune of having their dad in their lives until they went away to college and an ambitious mother who paid more attention to the business. I think meeting their step sisters and seeing that they and their spouses can be successful and love one another may be their salvation..at least I hope so..I need to read their story next
