When New York reporter Paige MacKenzie heads to Tres Palomas, New Mexico, the resort of Agua Encantada seems a perfect destination to combine work with pleasure. A quick article on the healing mineral springs and a few leisurely soaking sessions in the resort’s soothing waters promise well-deserved rest and relaxation. Paige is immediately intrigued with a local artist’s one-of-a-kind jewelry … jewelry designs, as well as weekly gatherings to hear legends from an elderly storyteller. But when identical jewelry shows up on another guest and the storyteller goes missing, Paige’s R&R is soon redefined as restlessness and risk. Curious and persistent by nature, Paige is convinced there’s a connection. Enlisting the help of a flirtatious resort worker seems like a good idea until it begins to test her loyalty to her favorite cowboy, Jake Norris. Will an unexpected overnight trip to Tierra Roja Casino lead her to the answers she seeks, or are darker secrets lurking along the way?

good plot, just didn’t really flow….
Kept my attention.
Good characters and a decent plot. Enjoyed the setting and story.
This is an unexpected mystery filled with adventute, colorful characters, and romance all mixed together!
I would have given it a 5 except the typeset was badly done. Lots of words run together or misspelled. The story was great.
Needs better proof reading, but great story
Found this author from bookbub and now look for her books
Enjoyable read!
A nice story, did not jump into bed the frist date which is nice.
This was a nice weekend read
Very good read! Really enjoyed this book. Having a life of three different entities makes for a very interesting ending.
Easy read to relax with.
Enjoyed the mystery and some of the characters but after a couple of weeks there is nothing that stands out in my mind.
This book went off in directions I did not see coming and I did not like the ending.
I love the characters in this book and was glad to see them returning from previous books.
I enjoyed this book and thought the research was well done with factual aspects woven into the story. If you like the south west or stories that take place there, you will like this book. It had lots of twists and turns before it arrived at a decent ending. I would read more from this author.
Enjoyed this book, light reading, fun, liked the character of Paige and her adventures.
It was just ok.
I actually had to put my kindle aside as I was afraid for the heroine.
I couldn’t get into the story for all the typos. There were too many spaces between words but mostly no spaces where there should have been so I was trying to figure out if it was Spanish or some word I didn’t know. Too frustrating
