When New York reporter Paige MacKenzie heads to Tres Palomas, New Mexico, the resort of Agua Encantada seems a perfect destination to combine work with pleasure. A quick article on the healing mineral springs and a few leisurely soaking sessions in the resort’s soothing waters promise well-deserved rest and relaxation. Paige is immediately intrigued with a local artist’s one-of-a-kind jewelry … jewelry designs, as well as weekly gatherings to hear legends from an elderly storyteller. But when identical jewelry shows up on another guest and the storyteller goes missing, Paige’s R&R is soon redefined as restlessness and risk. Curious and persistent by nature, Paige is convinced there’s a connection. Enlisting the help of a flirtatious resort worker seems like a good idea until it begins to test her loyalty to her favorite cowboy, Jake Norris. Will an unexpected overnight trip to Tierra Roja Casino lead her to the answers she seeks, or are darker secrets lurking along the way?

Love the Native American flavor to this story. An excellent and compelling read.
A little slow
Good suspense.
This is just one of several great books from this author. I recommend them all.
Love this series
This book almost got five stars from me for its delightful setting in New Mexico and its endearing characters as well as the intriguing plot. It got a little harder to follow about midway but l still enjoyed the absence of profanity of which the author got around by referring to characters cursing rather than by quoting. I also appreciate the total lack of steamy scenes. Other authors should do as well. There weren’t but a few typos, less than many Kindle books. I wish I had started with book one of the series and probably will pursue reading those.
Even though some characters seem to be working a cross-purposes, the heroes manage to get on the same page. An aide to the villain comes as a surprise. Enjoyed the “story teller.”
Like the characters and storyline
This story had enough twists and turns to hold my interest. About a writer doing a review of a Southwest Resort and taking a vacation at the same time. Interesting detail about the Southwest.
Very enjoyable mystery
A great book for afternoon reading with a cup of tea.
Don’t miss s single Paige book and add moonglow to this group. I wish a new book would come out every month
Liked very much.
A nice summer read with New Mexico’s landscape as a backdrop. As a former New Mexican, that was why I downloaded the book, to be honest. Descriptions and word pictures could have been better, and there is nothing totally compelling in the plot but it’s a breezy type of summer read that was satisfying for that.
After has a way of making you part of the world. Character so real, easy reading, yet you don’t want to put it down.
Three Silver Doves takes us to the southwest on a vacation with benefits of an exciting mystery and characters. Recommended to anyone who wants a good read set in the southwest.
Very predictable. Easy read but wouldn’t recommend it
Exciting, with good characters. Just a touch of possible romance. Wish there was more about the mysterious time travel!
Sow read
I really liked the picture of the southwest shown in the book. The characters were engaging and the plot original. I would like to read more by this author. The book reminded me of books set in the southwest by Kris Bock.
