The Three More Wishes Series is three hot and hilarious novellas. Each novella is roughly 100 pages with NO cliffhanger.
Blown Away:
Journalist Millie Mossberg has four positive pregnancy tests in her purse. Four. The problem is that Cade Reed, her aggravating—and crazy hot—colleague is the father-to-be of this secret baby. She’s got to tell him about the bun in her oven, but she’s still wishing that the pregnancy tests were duds. While they cover a story about a deposed dictator, they’re trapped in a runaway hot air balloon. Will they plummet to their death? Will these friends turned lovers admit their love for each other? And most importantly, will they figure out how to have sex in a balloon basket?
Inn & Out
Beryl Meyer is a bum magnet. Her latest bum boyfriend was responsible for sending Beryl to prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Tired of bad relationships and sworn off men, Beryl learns that she’s inherited an old inn on Summer Island. She plans on selling the rundown house, in order to start a new life, but when she arrives on the island, she discovers that she’s only inherited half of the inn, and the other half now belongs to an ornery and hot ex-navy SEAL. Thor Stockman wants to run the inn, throwing a wrench into Beryl’s plans. Now she’s stuck in the inn, even though she wants out, and her vow to keep away from men is being tested by the hot hunk in the next room.
Quick Bang
Norma Blaze is off limits to her brother’s best friend, Stone Jenkins. But that doesn’t stop him from eating at Norma’s café every evening. The Blue Plate Special is good, but Stone craves more forbidden fruit and only has eyes for Norma. When a huge storm hits Summer Island, Stone checks up on Norma as the lights go out, and the two finally let their desires take over. Just as they think they’ve reached their happily ever after, someone crashes their party and the night takes a dangerous turn. It’s up in the air whether they’ll survive the night or if their attraction is true love or merely a Quick Bang.

Audio-book: Narrator – Angie Hickman
I enjoy the heck out of these tidbits of zany fun but oh my gosh…when I get the chance to listen to Ms. Hickman narrate them, they take on a whole other dimension. Suddenly, they’re not just cute and fun, they are full of so much hilarity and humor that I’m beside myself with laughter. As in I-can’t-stop-laughing laughter. Ms. Hickman does an astounding job of bringing every one of these characters, be they a main character or a secondary character, to life. I can’t get enough of them because of her and I am highly addicted at this point.
Every one of the stories in this collection were spot on perfect to make you feel good. Some have more drama than others but even then it’s laugh out loud drama as these characters finesse (or stumble) their way out of the crisis. Written in the heroine’s point of view they leave you to wonder what the hero is thinking about as he witnesses all the zany antics of the female character and yet you know he’s just waiting for the moment when he can finally let his own feelings be known. They are each satisfying to such a degree that I had a hard time moving from them after I finished listening and I wanted to replay them all over again.
I stumbled upon this series in an email from bookbubs, so I decided to give it a try. I had just finished a fantasy series, so I was jonesing for some quick romance, and this set looked like it might have just what I was looking for.
I started out really into the first story and highly entertained by the voice of the main character. After a short while though, that voice started to become a little overdone to me and then the story got a wee bit ridiculous. That said, this was still my favorite story of the 3 and the deepest. The other two got shorter and flimsier from there.
These were quick reads, and great for the price, but I had hoped for a little more.
I loved the author’s writing style. The characters were quirky and funny. There was a little bit of sex thrown in which is always fun.
Three fun stories set in a little place called Summer island. Fun, thrilling, sexy and a little danger with a happy romantic ending is just what you want.
Wonderful, fun, easy reads.
Really enjoyed reading this book!

A cute easy read but I wish there were more background and substance on the main characters.
Just finishing this now. I have laughed a lot and cried some too. I have other books by this author and I can’t wait to read them all.
Great Series so funny love that they are short reads but packed full of entertainment.
I laughed so hard reading this!! Couldn’t put it down!
Too much about sex, but laughable.
Fun, easy to read short stories. The end of one introduces the female lead for the next story.
Fun to read.
Stories are great but seemed to end too soon.
Three More Wishes Series: Books 1-3 was a great read by Elise Sax. This box set contains novellas; Blown Away, Inn & Out and Quick Bang. These books followed three couples who are brought together under different circumstances. I really enjoyed listening to Millie and Cade; Beryl and Thor; and Norma and Stone’s story.
