Good book, good story. Good clean falling in love book. Enjoyable TI TEAD.
It’s a nice book to laugh and escape for awhile….
This is an easy read with great humor. And best friends to always keep it real.
This was a fun read and shows that first impressions are not always accurate. It was easy to relate to wanting to stop going on first dates. It gets old. But it has a happy ending.
I liked this book.
It involved 3 different dates which I would have to return (At times) to see which date was which.
I would recommend this to a person who also enjoys a book that isn’t full of sexy scenes nor “naughty” words.
Enjoy.
Easy beach read!
Great read. I enjoyed this book very much.
She is giving up dating after her heartbreak from the one she thought was the one. Now she says she will marry her next first date. She cheats by having three first dates and she is about to make a choice when her ex reappears. What will she do now? Will she go back to her ex? Will she pick one of her first date? See who she ends up with

These keep getting. better and better. This is the 3rd book in this series and I am enjoying each one even more than the previous! I love the comradery between these gals and though they are crazy for their pact, it is sure a lot of fun to read about.

This was a great book. Marissa is my least favorite character in this series but she had the best story. Unlike the other books, we got to see more of her relationship with Nash. He truly seemed like a good guy, that she didn’t really deserve. However, I’m glad she saw through Eddie’s mess. He was a whole headache by himself. Btw, the dogs were awesome!!!

This third installment in this series was just as wonderful as the others. Marisa and her love Nash have to go through some other guys to find he’s the one, but true love conquers all. Fun and lively characters with an interesting and exciting story line; I love it!!

Marissa is quite willing to admit that she is a commitment-phobe. Despite this, some time ago she made a pact with some girlfriends that their next date would be their last first date. In the previous two books of this series, two of her friends found their true loves. Marissa decides to ratchet the idea up a notch, and she plans three first dates for one day, figuring that her odds will be better if she can choose one last date from three of them! The book really picks up when she goes on these dates. She even starts to get a little self-awareness about the way she self sabotages herself and relationships.
Will one of these men be her last first date? Or will an old boyfriend turn out to be her best choice? Will she make other insights into herself and her past?
Marissa was at times a comical character involved in funny situations (loved the dog slobber kiss!). The three very different dates and her reactions to them were a hoot to read. The author details them thoroughly. Oh, my gosh! Loved the first date with the mortician and his pride-and-joy project! She could be a bit shallow, like comparing all of the men she might be interested in to movie stars. I enjoyed reading her thoughts, actions, and reactions to all that happens to her as she tries to sort herself out and truly figure out what she wants. In her interactions with her chosen man, it is clear that she wrestles with her commitment phobia. I like it when even in a romance a character becomes more self-aware and grows and changes in a positive way. The end was simply awesome, as Marissa overcomes two, not one, fears.
I’ve enjoyed the three books in this series so far, though I think book two about Paige is still my favorite. I love that the author writes sexy and romantic stories that aren’t tawdry or laced with gratuitous sex and profanity. She writes fantastic, classy love stories with heroes and heroines that you can relate to easily. Marissa’s story was fun yet insightful about the strange ways that we protect ourselves in ways that aren’t always in our best interest. That this was done with humor is a testament to the author’s skill.
I received a free ARC from BookSprout in exchange for an honest review.
This is the third book in the Cozy Cottage Café series. Marissa is a sabotager. She finds petty reasons to not date men. Her reasons are comical, but the underlying truth is a real problem that many men and women have. Many do not realize the impact bad relationships, low self-esteem, and even depression can have. I think Marissa learned a hard lesson, though at the expense of possibly losing a great opportunity. I will admit, I hated some of the choices she made and cringed when she made them, even to the point of thinking, “Marissa, you deserved that!”
I enjoyed the ease and flow of the writing. Despite Marissa’s thoughtlessness, I enjoyed the new and old characters. I could see how dating a mortician could be weird. The story hits several topics that I think are great talking points for men and women. This book had better editing and I don’t recall reading any adult language. This was definitely a clean read. While I was not swept away by the story, I was engaged and genuinely wanted to know how it would end. I honestly felt that Marissa should have been left hanging, until Bailey’s story! But everyone deserves a happy ending, right? 4 stars
Third time’s a charm?
Marissa ups the ante and decides that she needs more options, three first dates, all the same day, one of these will have to be her man… but, as expected, there are surprises. This third installment in the series is just as much fun as the two before it. Super enjoyable and fun to read.

This is a funny and touching romantic comedy. It is sweet and clean and features puppies!
This the 3rd in a series about a group of friends seeking true love. The romance is accented by work situations and a ghost from the past. This has been a fun series and I am excited to read the next book! This series really needs to be read in order. I received this ARC for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
One Last First Date – This is my first read by this author. I found the other three books to this series on Booksprout and discovered this one in my library. I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Well written in a conversational style. Enjoyable characters that came across as realistic and with some brains. Interesting storylines that moved along quickly and plenty of humor. I did not get bored as I usually do with many of this genre. I’ll be reading the three other books to this series. 4*
Two Last First Dates – This book picks up ten minutes after One ends. This book is just as enjoyable and delightful as the first book. Still written in a conversational style with multiple storylines that merge and separate through the friends and their lives with the focus on Paige. The characters still have brains and are still realistic, including their thoughts and dialogs. The humor steady throughout. Mistakes are still made but not the stupidity formula that is common in this genre. The fast pace and interesting lives makes this book quickly read. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Three Last First Dates – I chain read Three after finishing Two. This book picks up a few weeks after Two ends. It is so hard to write a review on this series without wanting to do spoilers; not a book report so it won’t happen. The focus is on Marissa and she’s probably the silliest of the bunch with her ideas, but she was fat as a kid and has that old mindset. The friends are still interesting and supportive, and the three dates were so different from each other. I thought she treated her first date badly, but some people look at jobs instead of the person. Anyway, the book was full of humor and interesting storylines and characters. I did not get bored with series since the storytelling never repeated or went stupid, but keep me immersed with the writing style and talent of Ms. O’Keeffe. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Bets among friends to go on one last first date and marry the guy. Everyone has hooked up but Bailey and Marrisa.
Marrisa decides to go n 3 last first dates in one day and decide on one of them
Cute and entertaining.
Are your dating standards too high? This gives you a glimpse into why…
A little sexist and old school.
