“The Wolf has played me for a fool.”I’ve no clue who is hunting me, but he demands I complete his tests. I fear if I can’t figure out his identity, he’ll kill me just like he said. His eyes were blue the last time I looked into them, but now when he glares at me they’re green. Is the Wolf playing dress up? Or are there two monsters who have stolen me?“Did you think I’d make this easy for you, Red? … make this easy for you, Red? Are you ready to play again?” – The Wolf
I want out of this nightmare, and the only way to do that is to win.
I need to win.

“Smoke and mirrors. Illusion. What can be seen is never unseen, but what you don’t see is the clue.”
Belle, Belle, Belle…. You really did a trick with this one! This is the best of all three parts so far. Congratulations!
“I fell asleep. I was only dreaming. I’m not surrounded by love and happiness. I’m living a fucking nightmare.”
Three Breaths is fast paced, suspenseful and breathtaking. Once started you can’t stop flipping the pages. Each POV Reid, Morgan, The Wolf, gives you different vibes of angst, fear, anticipation. As soon as you are back in the game, your heart doesn’t stop racing.
“Fears … Are … Stories … We … Tell … Ourselves.”
I really don’t know how Belle does it. She gives us hint after hint, you start suspecting everyone. You start question everyone’s words and actions. Who is the wolf? That’s the question everyone keeps asking. As soon as you start to suspect one person, Belle throws in another bone and you find yourself redirecting your suspicion.
“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, burn in hell, Red, because I’ve had enough – The Wolf”
Who am I?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this suspenseful novella.
Holy he!!. Belle Brooks, what a story this is turning out to be! I don’t know where to turn, who to blame or what the heck is going to happen next. Poor Morgan. The terrible things this woman has been subjected to, and it just keeps getting worse.
There are more questions than answers.
Who abducted Morgan?
Why?
Did she actually do something to him, or is he just plain… loco?
Morgan’s had to dig deep, really, really deep to stay alive, to fight off the desire to just give in. But when push comes to shove, can she find the strength she needs?
Then, there’s Reid. He’s gone from being the prime suspect to a man hanging on by his fingernails. He’s lost, broken and doesn’t know who to turn to.
The list of suspects gets longer with almost every page I read. Nothing points to one particular person. Just as I think I know who’s behind it all. It all falls apart.
Can’t wait for part 4 and 5. The end can’t come quick enough.
This book keeps you turning the pages to find out who the Wolf is. So many thinhs come to light in the book of the series. I cant wait to see what comes next. Belle truly knows how to write a book that keeps you intrigued and in need of more.
