Meghan Quinn has nailed it with Three Blind Dates. This is by far my favorite book of hers as it was full of emotion, sexiness and all out fun!
Noely is a morning show host looking for love. She’s intelligent, hard working, loyal and hilarious. I love the banter between Noely and her best friend, Dylan. They compliment each other like no other!
The Suit. The Rebel. The Jock. Three blind dates Noely agrees to in her attempt to find love all while her morning show keeps track of her experiences. Each man so very different in every single way. Which one has what it takes to win Noely’s heart?
I was totally addicted to this book from the very start and read it from beginning to end in one evening. Noely, her friend Dylan and all three of her blind dates were perfectly written. I enjoyed every emotion right along with Noely and laughed out loud on more than one occasion. Three Blind Dates is truly one of those books that I will go back to read over and over as it is one of the best romantic comedy books I’ve read.
P.S. – I absolutely agree with who Noely choses 🙂
*** I was given this ARC, in exchange for an honest review. ***
I couldn’t believe that Meghan had come up with something that resembled a tv show. I mean, the blurb sounds hilarious right away ! Like you can’t just walk away from a book like this and not think about it again and again. The blurb brings you so much promise and the book really delivers all the way.
I laughed so hard at Noely and with Noely. Plus her best friend is a d*** riot, you just have to love her. These characters are so funny and thought out ridiculously well. I loved all three of the men, but I do have to say that I am Team Suit all the way. There was just something about him that was captivating. The way Meghan wrote all the men was sexy and cute and ugh just perfect. This book really had me gushing like a schoolgirl with a crush. That is how much I loved it.
I just couldn’t get enough and I really can’t wait until the next couple of books in the series because if those ones have as many sexy times as this one did… I think I am going to need a cold shower or two after I read them. And maybe some ice cubes to cool me off while I read them. I don’t know how Meghan does it, but I swear it is like every book of hers I read just keeps getting better and better.
It was freaking good, I am telling you all. I was giddy, riding high on the sweetness of all three blind dates. The fun, oh the fun. I don’t know exactly how the heroine was able to put herself three times through it all. I mean, for being such a public figure, with such a kind of public love life…I really wasn’t expecting her to be so not prideful. She’s just this down-to-earth gal, smart funny and hot af. The type who is confident with her skin but not shallow. Not at all. I enjoyed her dialogues. I just really love her. And then there’s our hero. So dreamy. Now I’m really curious as to how the two other guys are going to get their stories hahaha
PS I think I’ve had few other reads from this author but I can’t remember loving her work this much? Gahhhh, definitely supporting this series. And maybe give another shot at her other works *Just like how the heroine did to the hero hahaha*
This one was so good! It’s my first book by this author, but definitely not my last. I liked Noely a lot…and let me tell you: The Suit, The Rebel, and The Jock are HOT! I’m giving this 5 out of 5 stars.
So the concept of this one was super cute! A modern You’ve Got Mail? Who doesn’t love that? Like I can’t even with how much this book made me smile. Without spoiling who she ends up with, I freaking love the guy. Where can I get one of my own? And honestly, all the guys are pretty freaking great…besides a few minor flaws like timing, and what was going on in their lives at the moment.
There’s some sexy times in this book, but honestly there was much more of a focus on courtship, on friendship, on finding yourself, and following your heart finally. I loved the epilogue, and I cannot wait for the next book. Super excited for that one! I signed up for an ARC, and I hope I get approved for it. *fingers crossed* Read this one if you like romantic comedies! It’s so entertaining, and a quick read.
Why can’t blind date be real.
Okay this is the best blind dating series that we all need in our single lives. And even if your married reading about it and knowing someone who is doing it is enough.
This book will give you all the feels. You will laugh out loud while feeling incredibly hurt for the characters. There is so much innocently mysteriousness going on that it really is heartwarming. To see two people have such amazing chemistry and to see them really have to fight for it is beyond special. A great read.
“Three Blind Dates” was the first Meghan Quinn book that I read and I absolutely loved it. Her books are romantic, funny, passionate and always entertaining. Her storylines are fresh, original and keep us reading until we have turned the final page.
Noely was a busy morning show host who didn’t have time for dating, but she definitely believed in true love and happy endings. She was excited about using the dating app because she was certain that everyone had a soulmate and she was confident that love was in the cards for her. She never expected to meet three such wonderful men who all ignited fire in her heart. Noely enjoyed going on all of the dates and the men had a lot in common. They were handsome, sexy, thoughtful and considerate, and listened to what she had to say and wanted to get to know the real Noely. They were also three separate individuals who had special traits that she found appealing.
As she got to know them, it was easy for her to realize which men weren’t ready to be in a serious relationship. It was hard saying goodbye, but she needed love, commitment and the man of her dreams. Who will it be? The Suit, The Rebel of The Jock? “Three Blind Dates” is romance personified and I know that everyone will love this special story!!
Well, I finally read or in this case listened to one of Meghan Quinn’s books and let me just say that I totally adored it!! I love her writing style and sense of humor. Noely is a great female lead who is really funny, sassy and sweet all wrapped into one and she is looking for love. The narration on the Audio was so good! Perfect really! The story itself is clever and fun and brilliantly written. It was so entertaining and enjoyable to meet the 3 men she has blind dates with and how those dates pan out. The character development for Noely and all 3 men was perfect giving me just enough. I was so happy at how this all turned out and it was really fun to try and guess like Noely did!
Why did I wait so long to delve into her books? Anyway, this is a super fun book and I am already on to listening to the next one in the series.
I loved the title so much, I just had to read it. So glad I did. It was so funny!
Great read. I loved the twist the characters had in their lives. It was refreshing. Great Series.
Three dates, three very different men, so why does something click with each one? Noely has signed up for a dating app/restaurant called Going In Blind. Set up to help people find their forever in the safety of a restaurant. Being a morning show host in Malibu, it’s hard to find someone to date seriously. Noely starts with “The Suit”, Jack he’s a business man who demands his privacy. Then there is “The Rebel”, Beck the motorcycle riding philanthropist who has a bit of a dark past. Lastly there’s “The Jock”, Hayden the hockey playing phenomenon who may be a bit stuck in the past. This book was so well written, the story was easy to follow and I literally laughed out loud more times than I can count! I could easily be best friends with this author, no doubt! Check out this story, I’m moving on to book two!
Ok. To be honest time…. as with all reviews…
but usually if I don’t click with a book it goes in the vault never to be reviewed. Unless I really, really don’t like it.
Personal Spoiler alert… I ended up loving this.
I wondered why I had not read this one, being a diehard Meghan Quinn fan!! Then when I started it I remembered why I skipped it.
The heroine, Noely, goes on three blind dates and shows promise with each. So i thought this was not gonna be my jam. I NEED the hero and heroine to have near constant interaction. I’m not organically a book romcom fan, which is, short story long, why I had skipped this one.
BOY, WAS I WRONG! Sooooo wrong.
I loved this.
I love the supporting cast.
I loved all 3 blind date studs. Loved the overlap.
And as always writing and plot were superb!
Date 1 The Suit, ends due to small mistake
Date 2 The Rebel, May or may not be emotionally available
Date 3 The Jock, possible connection with probable road block
She ends up with her Mystery Man. Loved this!!!
I won’t say anything else. But read this.
Highly recommend
Meghan Quinn
This book is about Noely trying to find her true love using a dating app/service in Malibu, CA. She is a morning show host and finding time to date on her own has been challenging. Enter the Going in Blind dating service where you meet at the restaurant ran by the app for the first date. The people on the date can then choose if they want to go on a second date and the app gives suggestions on what they might enjoy for their second outing.
This book is 4 parts:
Part 1 – The Suit – This is Noely’s first blind date. They click really well but he is VERY private. Noely lets his first name slip when she is talking about their date on Good Morning Malibu and The Suit can’t continue to date her. His privacy is too important.
Part 2: The Rebel – Blind Date #2. Beck aka Rebelwithacause is sexy and mysterious. Jack and Noely click on a physical level but Noely has some questions about his past. He isn’t ready to reveal that side to Noely.
Part 3 – The Jock – Hayden is Blind Date #3. He is a sweet hockey player that enjoys Noely’s company. Unfortunately, after a couple dates, Noely finds out that Hayden recently got out of a relationship that he isn’t quite over and isn’t really ready to move on.
Part 4 – The Mystery Man – One of these 3 gentleman starts wooing Noely through the Going In Blind app with the screen name “NY152” (as You’ve Got Mail is Noely’s FAVORITE movie and she is ShopGirl). All 3 guys are very different but they all connected with Noely on some kind of level. As they continue to talk, Noely falls for this mystery man and they eventually meet for their HEA. I loved the ending!
Meghan Quinn writes a great story full of humor, romance, and a little mystery on who wins Noely’s heart.
So much fun! So often than not, you read a book with usually only the hero and heroine. You don’t get a glimpse of a full on dating spectrum. Three Blind Dates gives you that and MORE!
Noely Clark signs up for a dating program called Going In Blind. I think their set up is perfect in creating a comfortable environment for Noely and the three studs she meets there. I hope for some books about THOSE side characters! *hint hint Meghan* 😉
I loved getting to see all the different sides of Noely as she also discovered more about her true self.
Once you get through The Suit, The Rebel, & The Jock, it’s not just a one and done the book is over. Oh no. Meghan gives you so much more than that, which makes the book untraditional and unique.
I loved the romance and the woo-ing in this book. It made my heart melt anytime any of those handsome three men did something to or for Noely. Noely is a classy lady and I’m so happy with who she ended up with. I won’t spoil that tidbit for you, you’ll have to go in blind to read this beaut.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
An endearing and entertaining read. Noely is bright, cheerful, loyal and really witty. I didn’t like the Suit as he was cagey – but then you get to why and it all makes sense. The Rebel…. oh my …ice water required…he was hot and sexual. The Jock…..so gorgeous and adorable.
How does one women choose……read to find out.
There were some glaringly obvious typos…. like forehead instead of forward…
Loved it!!!
Loved it! Couldn’t put it down
Noely is funny and sarcastic and totally lovable but she seems to have issues dating. She ends up going on 3 blind dates with the Suit, the Rebel, and the Jock. There all amazing. This book definitely has all the feels. Great characters and storyline Highly recommend
I can honestly say that dating is rough, especially going on blind dates, relying on the few simple lines from a dating app to tell you who you may or may not be meeting. So, to say I was intrigued and excited to get my hands on this book after reading its description was an understatement!
As Ava Erickson voices Noely Clark, brilliantly, the story conveys all of the various emotions that go along with looking for “The One.” As Noely faced the pitfalls, joys, nerves, and downright hilarity of some of the dating woes, I felt as though I was right along with her.
As a work of fiction, I enjoyed that she was able to meet three fantastic, yet drastically different men, part of me was a bit jealous because of her good fortune.
But, it was her commiserating with her bestie, Dylan that I think I like best about this book. Sure there were hot, swoon worthy moments between Noely and her suitors, but in life when you are out in the dating world, a girl really needs a best friend to stay by her side and download the day to day events with.
With the flirtatious, off the charts chemistry, and tender moments between her and each of her dates, this book had me completely bewildered; asking myself, “why can’t I live in a fictional world of dating?”
As Always, Happy Reading!
“5/5 Beaming Brains!” – Lit-Up My Mind
She’s been looking for love in all the wrong places. Will this be the time she finally gets it right? Meghan Quinn has never been afraid to put her humorous side on display. In my opinion that’s what makes her characters so endearing. We’re all flawed and her stories remind us it’s okay to own the imperfections in ourselves. Three Blind Dates is an irresistible look at love from every angle. The good, the bad and the ugly, through the eyes of a successful heroine. Her neuroses are a tad eccentric, but no less lovable. Noely longs for a life to call her own. Away from the spotlight and the celebrity. She craves something real. Quinn warms the heart with hints of wisdom, humorous dialogue and captivating characters. A win all the way around.
