This author has been on my TBR for for-ever and after reading Three Blind Dates, I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to get to her books.
I love a good rom-com and this updated take on You’ve Got Mail was funny and had all of the best things of the movie. The concept of this book was so original and all of the things that Noely experienced were both hilarious and cringe-worthy. All three men, The Suit, The Rebel, and The Jock were swoony and fit their nicknames to a tee. I both loved and hated all three of them at different points in the story but ultimately ending up loving every single character in this book.
This book has pushed all of the other books by this author way up on my TBR and I can’t wait to read the stories of the guys who weren’t “the one.”
I fell in love with all of the blind dates in this book! This was a steamy book with romance entwined. It has a happily ever after like I always love. Definitely worth the read! Buy it!!
Three Blind Dates, three hot men “You’ve Got Mail” style… sign me up!!!
This book has been on my radar for a while and I couldn’t wait to dive in! Plus Meghan Quinn is typically hilarious, something I was truly in the mood for.
Noely Clark is a morning show host looking for love. Signing up for Going in Blind is a no brainer for her. She’s single, fun, and wants a HEA.
“…I’ve realized that there comes a time in a person’s life when they just want to be able to have a partner in crime, someone you come home to every night, and wake up with every morning. Someone who cheers during your triumphs and carries you when you fall. And when you see that kind of relationship in real life, playing out in front of you? It’s impossible not to want the same thing for yourself.”
That’s what so many people want in life. True love. Companionship. The person who holds the other half of their heart.
What follows are three dates that with three completely different types of men, (one that I LOVED more than the others, BTW), that have her swooning!
Three Blind Dates was a hilarious, laugh-out-loud read that was really different and so much fun! I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series!!!
*5 Stars*
HOLY SHIT GUYS. THIS BOOK! Oh my god this book. I loved it so much! The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock. I knew who I wanted it to be from the start, so I was a little biased, but holy moly. What a ride.
The whole premise of the story is really fun, but I don’t want to ruin a thing about this novel, like not even a single thing, but let me just say each guy is so different in his own right. At first there were things I wasn’t sure about, particularly with the first guy she dates, but as the story goes on, there are things that keep popping up and making you wonder which of the three guys is the one for her. Is any of them the one for her?
And in the end….holy wow. *SWOON!*
I loved Noely and I connected with her, and the secondary characters in this were awesome. Funny as hell too. This is the typical Meghan trademark of so many laugh out loud moments. I think there was even a chapter or two there where I literally kept laughing out loud for the complete chapter. So good.
There were also parts where I’d flip open to the next title of the “Part” or “Chapter” and be like HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! There are some surprises in this one too, thats for sure!
After getting to see a bit of each of the male prospects, I liked all of them in their own right, and I CANNOT WAIT for the next two books in this series. I really need to know what their stories are and who they end up with.
This one was so much fun. There are so many fun little quirks and laugh out loud moments, and when it comes to crunch time at the end, wow so sweet!
Well done Meghan, well done. Bring on the next two!
An app that finds your perfect match. Sets you up for a blind date. What a smart, intriguing yet frightening concept. And Noely is about to be perfectly matched not once, but three times. Color me fascinated – yet I cannot say I wasn’t wary going into the story.
Would it be a cheating, messy love triangle – uuuh, I mean, quadrangle? How could an actual romance be developed with her true match while she was dating other men? Let me assure you neither of that was the case or a problem. It wasn’t even that hard to become suspicious about how she would end up with. While she had true and strong connections, which were as vastly different as the men themselves, with all of them, there was just one that stood out, one that simply promised more: more butterflies, more sizzle, more depth, more compatibility, more happiness – MORE!
Who is Noely? Noely is smart, gorgeous and independent and ready to settle down with the one after everyone she kissed so far remained a frog. She is over all the lonely nights and being intrigued by the app’s concept, she decides to give it a go…
The men she was matched with – The Suit (Jack), The Rebel (Beck) and The Jock (Hayden) – were all special and swoon-worthy and even sweet. All first dates had something unique, electrifying and flirty, and Noely – and me – thinking “This has to be the one”. I had an inkling who was going to be her chosen one, but it might have been someone else been my favorite – so I’m excited to know that his story will be next. Yes!!
First dates are exciting yet intimidating and the nervousness before and during each of those dates showed – you felt it right along with them. There’s just one thing I had my problems with (even if I might be the only one): Call me a drama / angst queen, but the dose of humor, although I laughed a couple times myself, was a bit too much for me, especially in the beginning. It’s why I do a wide berth around chic lit. I love laughing out loud while reading, but it can get too comical for me pretty quickly. But gladly, the engaging characters and the wonderful storyline made up for it and had me glued to my ereader.
A sexy, humorous and heartfelt version of “You Got Mail” (you don’t know the movie? Watch it before reading!) in today’s more advanced digital era.
A really enjoyable read with some laugh out loud moments, the home hair treatment had me in hysterics
All the characters are well written & enjoyable all in their own ways. The storyline was cute, a tad long winded for me, but it sets up The Rebel & The Jock nicely for their own books, which I think was part of the point.
All in all a lovely rom-com to lose yourself in. It’s a bonus if you like the film ‘You’ve Got Mail’ Recommended solid 3+ star read!!

Somehow, I missed out on getting the ARC for Three Blind Dates. I always buy her books so it wasn’t a big of a deal. Other than I try to get my review out on the day of release. Since I knew I was going to read Three Blind Dates any way.
Three Blind Dates is a romantic comedy and the start of a new series Dating by Numbers, 1. But, can be read as a standalone and has an HEA.
I really love Meghan Quinn’s sense of humor. She really is funny and her books are the BEST! Oh, and I may need to bump Mother Road and make Three Blind Dates as my favorite of her books.
Noely is searching for love and when she is approached about by a PR consultant about this new restaurant “where the sole focus is blind dates. There is an app to create a profile and they match you with other individuals to your likeness”. Sounds great!
The Three Blind Dates are Jack Valentine (Windsor Knot) He is the “Suit”. I love the chemistry between Jack and Noely. Beck Wilder (RebelWithACause) He’s the “Rebel” I really liked his sense of humor and you can really feel the sexual tension between him and Noely. Hayden Holmes (Icebiscuit) and he is the “jock”. I think he is probably the sweetest.
The HEA was with whom I wanted it to be. The question for you is, who do you think Noely will choose the suit, the rebel, or the jock?
Three Blind Dates had me laughing out loud and the dressing room sex was so HOT.
I love this book and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. If you haven’t read any of Meghan Quinn’s books yet this book would be a great one to start with.
You’ve Got Mail with an extra twist of comedic gold, Three Blind Dates is an intriguing love story filled with sizzling chemistry, handsome suitors, and a determination to go after what you want.
Absolutely loved this quirky, hilarious, and unique love-square romance! (See what I did there? No love-triangles in this story!) And tacos…you know a book can’t go wrong when tacos are involved.
Loved it!
This book has the perfect amount of humor, love, romance and a surprise ending that totally had me swooning.
Noely is a girl after my own heart. She is funny, has such a romantic heart and I had me captured with her journey of finding true love.
The Men…
The Jock: Yes love me a sports man & he had many qualities that I could relate to with Noely about falling for him.
The Suit: He was just… soooo a man I could fall for in an instant. And who doesn’t love a man who has the suit wear him?
The Rebel: Bad Boys are the best… in many things and I surely loved this one.
Now I won’t tell you which one of the three I loved the most but I will say you need to read this book and find out who Noely ends up with!
She did good & she picked the same one I loved.
Now don’t worry cause the if you fell in love with the other guys she didn’t pick, they will be getting their own books so there will be more of their story to fall in love with.
Three Blind Dates was just what I needed to get through the Holiday season! Noely rocks it when trying to find love. She puts herself out there and works on finding her other half. Her character is a breath of fresh air. She is confident and sexy. When she meets with all three blind dates, I seriously was rooting for the jock! If you read Meghan’s previous Novella in an anthology, Hayden was introduced to us then.
I was all over the place about Jack at first. Until I found out his romantic secret. I was over the moon and had hearts in my eyes. The suit won me over! Beck was great, but I felt he was more of “friend zone” for Noely.
Three Blind Dates was sexy, thrilling, and brings you back to hearts and flowers. If you have watched You Got Mail before and loved it, you will truly enjoy this book!
The purpose of stories is to stop being in reality for a minute and discover something that brings us joy (or of some sort- if you are reading horror or a murder mystery joy might not be the right word) or satisfaction. This author makes my heart happy. Literally. No matter how crappy my day has been or how much stress I am feeling (especially around the holidays), I can count on her to give me a story that I can get lost in, a place that I can laugh out loud at, and where I can feel what the characters are feeling. It is much needed and appreciated in this crazy world that we live in.
As always, this story is packed with witty and snarky dialogues. THREE amazing heroes that all were to die for and a heroine that is as funny as she is quirky. Add in a dash of heat and comedic sidekicks and you have a perfect story.
I am so happy that this story will continue. I was lucky to read this before release. I can neither confirm nor deny that I might have done a jig and shouted, “it is a Festivus Miracle” around my imaginary Festivus pole.
5 PHENOMENAL STARS!! This story is like sipping a fine wine you enjoy every drink and never want it to end. Meghan Quinn is a phenomenal storyteller her words flow perfectly with all the feels. Noely is beautiful, sassy, sweet, successful, fun, but no time to find Mr. Right. She decides to go on a online dating site to meet her Mr. Right and has three blind dates with The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock, who will she pick. I loved every date this story was amazing and high on my list of must enjoyable books. I can’t wait for the other books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Blind Date your way to forever
Meghan Quinn’s first book for 2018 – Three Blind Dates – sets the bar high, not only for the rest of her year but for all authors. This book is so very different to your usual romance in that in follows the dating trials and tribulations of Noely Clark, a morning tv host in Malibu who is sick of being alone and wants to find her forever. So Noely applies to be a part of a new blind dating service in the hopes that she’ll find her perfect match.
…”because what’s love without a little bit of compromise, without being able to adapt to your partner and love what they love? It’s the people in our life who mold us, and I’m far from being molded completely.”
And this is where the story gets good! You know from the cover and blurb (so it’s definitely not a spoiler) that Noely ends up dating three potential suitors: The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock. But this book isn’t just a series of dates, Noely is serious about finding a man and so she goes into every date, every moment with the hopes that this will be it. And the story unfolds in such a way – told almost entirely from Noely’s point of view – that you feel so deeply for Noely as she experiences the highs and lows of dating: the mystery of the blind date, the anticipation of the first kiss, the rush of lust and hormones, the desire to connect and the overthinking afterwards. Each of the suitors could be Noely’s man but what I loved about Three Blind Dates is that I was totally kept guessing as it’s not clear who Noely might end up with. And most of all, reading this story made me feel the excitement myself of falling in love – the butterflies, the anticipation, the excitement – and as a happily married woman, this is the first book in a very long time that has made me want to go back and fall in love with my husband all over again.
I read this book in less than a day, it was one of those stories that I could barely put down, and yet I also didn’t want it to be over. So knowing that this is the first in the series and the two suitors who don’t find love with Noely will get a chance at their own happily ever after is fantastic, as all the men deserve a chance to find their forever (though topping this first book is going to be no easy feat).
Three Blind Dates is romantic comedy at its absolute best – with the perfect balance of swoon and laughs, everyone needs to start their year off with this fabulous release by Meghan Quinn.
Everytime I see that Meghan has a new book coming out, I get giddy, like seriously giddy. Her stories are everything you could ask for in a romantic comedy.
Three Blind Dates is no exception. This story of Noely and her three blind dates, The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock takes you on a journey of funny laugh out loud moments, crazy best friend moments (man I wish I had a Dylan in my life!), the swoony romantical moments and last, but certainly not least, the steamy hot physical moments.
I love how Meghan actually pulls you into her story with you, a’la Ferris Bueller, with lines like “You and I both know his lips have touched mine”. Meghan takes you by the hand and leads you along her merry way.
I so understood Noely’s vulnerability and her cracks about herself (“I’m feeling like Kraft Singles compared to his Camembert.”) really resonated with me. I think we all have had that moment when we thought we weren’t good enough. But instead of making it sad and depressing, Meghan brings the humor and laughter to it (it really is OK to laugh at yourself!).
Meghan, I cannot express the love I have for your words! Thank you for writing another fabulous, funny, swoony story!
