“Hold on tight. This is a terrifying and terrific book.” -Fort Worth Star-Telegram Life has never been easy for the three Campbell sisters. Jess, Courtney, and Dani live on a remote ranch in Western Canada where they work hard and try to stay out of the way of their father’s temper. One night, a fight gets out of hand and the sisters are forced to go on the run, only to get caught in an even … get caught in an even worse nightmare when their truck breaks down in a small town. As events spiral out of control they find themselves in a horrifying situation and are left with no choice but to change their names and create new lives.
Eighteen years later, they are still trying to forget what happened that summer. But when one of the sisters goes missing, followed closely by her niece, they are pulled back into the past. And this time there’s nowhere left to run.
With Those Girls Chevy Stevens presents her most visceral thriller yet: an unforgettable portrait of desperation, loyalty, and evil. A story of survival…and revenge.

This book is not for the faint at heart. This is a very disturbing book. I almost quit reading this a couple of times because it was so disturbing and violent. I was having a hard time reading the gore and violent act that was done to these girls. I pushed through it because I wanted to have closure with these poor girls. It is definitely not a book I would read twice. It obviously was well written for the most part because of how emotional I was with it but to write like that had to be disturbing as a human. I like to read all types of genre so I try to broaden my horizons and this broadened them alright. I would rather read horror, scary horror.
Chevy Stevens has written another excellent story, with edge-of-the-seat, nail-biting tension. Hard-hitting and sometimes very grim, the horrendous journey of the three sisters takes on the pain, fear and horror of abuse, first by their father and then by strangers, two brothers, who take abuse even further. While the girls’ character development takes a back seat to the pace of the story, it’s also clear their development is hindered by their trauma. A chilling and thrilling work of fiction that could (and does) take place in real life. Highly recommended, but not for the fainthearted.
it was one of the best books I have ever read
This is the story of the three sisters who are in an abusive relationship with their father, who is a drunk. One night, something terrible happens and they go on the run. Horror and terror and more terrible things await them at their next stop in Cash Creek on their way to Vancouver.
20 years later, while they are now in their 30s and living under new identities another terrible thing takes them back to Cash Creek. Dark and twisted, this novel is very well done, and truly describes the terror they felt.

This book was a very good read. It made me keep wanting to yell at the sisters and ask what they were thinking and definitely was a page turner.
Predictable
Too many vicious rape scenes for me
I loved the book great characters couldn’t wait to see how it ended
Great story line with unique characters. Kept me turning pages.
A very well written story of three teen age sisters who escaped an abusive home life only to experience a more terrible experience on the run. The story details their life experiences as they grow up. Doesn’t sound too interesting, but it was and is hard to lay down.
I had high hopes when I started the book but then all the female characters continued to behave in stupid and predictable ways.
I really liked to listen to this audiobook. I felt for the girls and their problem. I liked that the scence turned to another time with a new character. For me, not a page turner, but a minute turner – could not stop to listen to it.
What a great summer surprise. This book I couldn’t put down. Three sisters how much more can you love. You always find yourself as one of them. Great read.
