I, Faith Parisi, love my life. I have the best job—resident sex-advice diva for Visage magazine—I have the best friends, and I live in the best city in the world. Things are pretty damn fabulous. That is, until Henry “Harry” Sinclair III comes crashing back into my world like a bad case of herpes. I hate the way Harry’s lip curls in contempt whenever he sees me. I hate his bright blue eyes and … bright blue eyes and those inexplicably offensive dimples. I hate his stuffy English accent and the stick that’s permanently jammed up his aristocratic ass. More than anything, I hate that he’s now my boss.
But my professional prospects start to look up when a chance at writing Visage’s big summer feature falls into my lap. Success won’t be easy. I’ll need to let go of all my inhibitions—not that I have that many of those—and jump, stiletto heels first, into a hedonistic new world. An exclusive, secretive world, filled with leather, latex, and Manhattan’s elite.
Pulling this off will take every ounce of daring I have, and every ounce of focus. I can’t afford to get distracted by anything, least of all my new boss, his arrogant mouth, or the way the ice between us seems to be slowly melting away…

I love Tillie’s books, so when I heard about her new book, especially in a completely different genre than what she writes, I was curious and ran to read it and I was not disappointed. I don’t know how to explain or if it makes sense but even if it’s a new and different kind of book that we have seen her written, Thoroughly Whipped has Tillie‘s print all over it, this book reminds me of the feelings I had when I read my first stories on this genre. I have to say that I’m afraid of giving spoilers, so i kept this review simple.
I genuinely laughed with Faith, she is funny, clumsy, charismatic, she blurts everything that is in her mind, seriously, no filter, I got second hand embarrassment for her in some cringe worthy situations that she put herself in. I didn’t know what to make of Harry at first, we don’t see much of him beyond what Faith thinks of him, which is totally biased because she hates him and thinks he’s arrogant, but throughout the book as we get to know him better, we see that he is actually an introverted, so I fully understand how that can sound like arrogance, when he began to interacting more with Faith and show his other side, a super sweet side, i started to like him more.
Something that bothered me and slowed me while reading was that the beginning was hard for me to get into it because it had too many informations at the same time but besides that I enjoyed this and I can’t wait for Tillie to dive more on this genre.
If Tillie Cole ever decide to publish her shopping list I’d read it without a second thought because her words, no matter the genre, always find a way through me and this was the perfect example. I hasn’t read a rom-com in a while but Thoroughly Whipped was the perfect comeback. I enjoyed it so much!! It was definitly what I needed in these hard times. This light sexy funny read is one of the best book i’ve read this year.
“Henry didn’t smile at me. His nostrils flared and his lip curled up. I wasn’t sure if he was silently passing gas or exposing the fact that he disliked me as much as I disliked him.”
Faith Parisi doesn’t have a filter and it’s super clumsy, that’s what i love the most, her carefree sassy mouth. She works as a sex advise columnist at Visage Magazine and her responses to people are to die for. The rest of the characters are amazing, i’d love to go to a party with her friends, Novah, Sage and Amelia, they promise a crazy night.
“I’d rather tell people to their face what I think than say things behind their backs. And I rarely care what people think of me, so I don’t care if they don’t like it.”
Henry “Harry” Sinclair III, future Duke and heir to the HCS Media Dynasty, aka Faith new boss, with his blue eyes, dimples, side smirks, english accent and seriusness could’t be more different to Faith and they don’t have the best start but it’s impossible not to fall for his charm.
Faith gets a once in a life opportunity to write the Summer Feature in the extended edition of Visage about the secrets of the infamous sex club NOX, and she’s is determinate to fulfill her dream and show in Harry’s posh face how qualified she is for the job, no matther the cost.
“You most certainly have a way with words, don’t you, Miss Parisi?”I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, knowing what he was hinting at. He obviously remembered our summer together as clearly as I did. “And you most certainly enjoy sharing your advice, yes? Freely and without filter.”His fingers drummed on the desk. “And it’s award-winning too, so you must be truly gifted.”
If you want to laugh ultil you cry and your stomach hurt or if you’re looking for a great enemies to lovers / kinky / office rom-com with a heartmelting english accent book, Thoroughly Whipped is totally for you!!

I loved this book. It’s been a while since a good book just swept me away like this one did. I was laughing so much. The stuff Faith would say and do! Hahahaha
It was funny and mortifying all at the same time!
I loved all the back and forth banter between Harry and Faith. Faith seemed to have verbal diarrhea whenever she was around Harry! She loved to make him feel uncomfortable.
The hatred seemed to go both ways between these two. But I loved how Faith handled it. She didn’t let it totally get to her. She definitely let Harry know how she felt.
The whole club situation. I was feeling it. But I also found it unbelievable. Especially when things got serious with Harry.
The sex in this book was off the charts. I felt the build up of these two characters. It was just so strong. I loved it.
When the big secret was revealed. I felt it was a bit of a let down. I would’ve felt a little more angry….Betrayed even.
I felt the anger should’ve lasted longer than it did. It just felt too quick. It kinda took away from the enjoyment I had in reading this book. It was just too fast. It needed that bit of real drama.
Faith clumsiness was funny in the beginning. But got super old towards the end. It just got to be too much. I liked that she had little mishap here and there. But she seemed to fall at the worst possible time! And not some little fall either. Big embarrassing falls where everyone was looking at her! Stuff falling on her! Some of it was funny.
Overall this was a very funny book. I needed to read something like this. Light and not serious. Lately all my books I’ve been choosing to read haven’t been doing it for me. But, this one did! Read it in one sitting. I will definitely recommend this book to others!!

I’ve been a big fan of this author for a long time and I’ve come to expect dark from her. So when I heard she was releasing a romantic comedy, I was excited.
I enjoyed this a lot. I think she does enemies to lovers really well and I didn’t expect this to be as steamy as it was, even given the cover.
I’m glad I took the chance on this even if I was skeptical at first.
I received an advance copy of this from Ardent Prose PR on behalf of the author. My opinions are my own and haven’t been influenced.
Leave it to Tillie Cole to step outside her box and write a rom com and completely knock it out of the park!! Thoroughly Whipped is absolute perfection with an engaging, light hearted storyline and excellent comic relief.
Harry and Faith are wonderful characters and their story is exactly what I needed right now. These enemies to lovers are complete opposites yet quite entertaining. Faith is my kind of girl! She’s bold, loud, feisty and her sarcastic wit is on point. And although Harry can be reserved, stuffy and arrogant at times, there’s also something very alluring and appealing about this sexy man. He certainly brings a lot to the table. If you’re looking to read a hilarious office romance with a sensuous and tantalizing twist to it, then Thoroughly Whipped is definitely the book for you!!
Faith is a columnist with a difference, she offers sex advice to those who seek it but it is a definitely delivered in a ‘no mouth filter’ manner. To be fair, that is normal behaviour for Faith, she does not have much of a verbal filter on any given day and she is perpetually clumsy – a walking calamity.
When Faith receives an invite to an exclusive sex club she sees an opportunity to write a feature that will be career changing. NOX is a place people talk about but until now it has just been that, hearsay. Faith is about to discover the pleasures of being a part of this exclusive club and let me tell you, her world is rocked in every possible way. By night she enjoys the indulgence of being worshipped but during the day things are not as exciting.
The entire office is surprised to be told that the owner’s son, Henry (Harry) Sinclair III, is now based in New York with them. Faith once reeled off Harry’s pedigree to him at a function and has vivid memories of every single word she said, she hopes he doesn’t have a memory with such clarity as hers. Having a moody, arrogant, pompous man in the building does nothing to improve team morale and Faith tries to avoid him as much as she can.
Unfortunately for Faith, avoiding Harry whilst being stuck in a faulty elevator with him turns out to be unavoidable. While she is busy having a massive meltdown, Harry is the calming presence pulling her out of her head. She sees a different side to him, a softer one she didn’t know existed. This turns out to not be the first time he has to save her and before too long there is something there that she had no idea she was looking for.
A conundrum of sorts, she is feeling things for prim and proper Harry during the day and getting down and dirty at NOX by night. If she wants to explore where things may lead with Harry she knows she needs to cut ties at NOX but can Harry give her all she craves, well based on the size of the bulge in his pants she is leaning towards yes.
During a time where the world is in chaos and every time I turn on the news there is not much to be happy about, Tillie Cole has come up with the perfect remedy – escapism. This story pulled me away from reality and immersed me into a naughty fairy tale. There were so many laugh out loud moments, I think Faith was just as surprised at what came out of her mouth as everyone else was.
A truly amazing book for what is going on right now. Pure kink and laugh out loud moments. This book was so different to the dark romances we are used to from the author. Rom-com with some sexy moments and magical moments.

Thoroughly Whipped is a light and fun contemporary romance, much different than what most readers are used to from Tillie Cole. Faith Parisi was a sassy and very lovable character, I absolutely loved her personality and the relationship she had with her friends and parents. The story starts when Henry “Harry” Sinclair III becomes the new CEO of the company Faith works for. She already met him years ago when she interned for the company, and had a bit of a rude and awkward interaction with him. She kinds of dislikes him and the same goes for Harry, who is a bit taken back with her colorful personality. Harry is a hard and cold man, and quiet the opposite of Faith. But when these two are put together in close quarters when an elevator breaks down, they for the first time start opening up to each other. Harry has put up walls around his heart, but Faith manages to break it down piece by piece.
This is a pretty straight forward romantic comedy, with many hilarious situations. There were a couple of times where I was suffering from second-hand embarrassment. Faith is super clumsy but also very sweet. Harry has been kind of living his life according to the society he is a part of, but it is obvious that he isn’t happy with how things are going. Faith shows him to have more fun and go after the things that can make him happy. I enjoyed seeing Harry’s personality change the more he was around Faith. I loved him relaxing and letting lose. I thought Faith and Harry made a great couple. This book besides being hilarious was also very hot and I loved the scenes that took place at NOX, a sex club. I rated it 3.5 stars because there were some scenes in the last quarter of the book that didn’t really hold my attention. However, overall I enjoyed this book. If you are looking for a light and fun, sort of enemies to lovers romance, then you’ll probably enjoy this book.
Thoroughly Whipped is exactly what the book world needs right now, a light hearted feel good romantic comedy.
I loved Faith so much, I found myself laughing my ass off at this chick. With her quick wit, all round clumsiness and no filter she had me in stitches. She is loyal, funny and unapologetic about who she is. Faith embraces life and gives zero fuxks what anyone else thinks, I loved her for that.
Harry is one of those multi layered characters that get under your skin right away, I was immediately fascinated by him.
I found his abrupt manner, pompous attitude and stiff upper lip only added to his hottness and my curiosity. If you love an English Gent with a deviant side then Dirty Harry will set your pulse racing.
The connection between Faith and Harry was intense, they’re as different as chalk and cheese. They shouldn’t work but they do. It’s definitely a case of opposites attract. I loved all the fighting, flirting, dirty innuendos and sexual tension that built between them as the story unfolded.
Get ready to fall hard for the Sinfully Sexy Harry Sinclair and the Sassy Sex Kitten that is Faith Parisi.
Grab their hilariously witty,, flirty and devilishly dirty romance today. I ‘Thoroughly’ enjoyed every minute and I’m sure you will too. 😉
